  • This study were investigated to the factors affecting smart phone applications to avoid display ads. The results of this study are as follows. First, factor analysis, propensity for advertising intrusion was the result of a single factor. Also showed significant effect advertising intrusion ad avoidance tendency. Second, the smartphone motivation for the use of the results of factor analysis, seven factors were, Entertainment, information acquisition, learning/work use, multimedia use, ease of life, time leverage, respectively. Showed low levels of advertising avoidance learning/working synchronous usability and ease high motivation life. Finally a smart phone for involvement that there is no significant difference in advertising intrusion tendency appeared. High involvement group was obtaining information, entertainment, social relationships, and multimedia use, ease of living, time management motivation significantly higher than the low involvement group. The results of this study it is expected that the smartphone application smartphone users to reduce evasion of advertising practitioners to give answers to create display ads advertising.

  • This study analyzes students' motivation for learning when applying SW-STEAM education using Flipped Learning. As a main content of the study, we developed a program that combines SW education with existing subjects and utilized flipped learning as a method. Elementary school students were given an education program. The data were collected through pre and post-test of learning motivation. As a result of analysis, the SW-STEAM program based on flipped learning has improved attention, relevance and confidence. We expect that the results of the SW-STEAM education program developed in this study and the learning motivation analysis will help in the direction of the SW-STEAM education and be useful as a basic resources for settling in class.

  • Smart electronics are now widely used in everyday life, but the size of the screen of such devices is still too small to fully enjoy multimedia content. Therefore, if the display is comprised of multiple views produced by multiple smart devices, then the screen output size can increase. However, a time delay between the devices can generate a discordance in the video and sound. This paper compares two synchronization techniques that can be used to minimize such a time delay, and proposes a synchronization technique in which, the timing of the screen for each device is calculated by synchronizing the playback time, using the timing information transferred from the control device, and periodically adjusting the playback timing forward or backward. When multimedia content is reproduced using multiple views from multiple smart devices, we can minimize the time delay, regardless of the network quality or the differences in the devices used for this technique.

  • This study was conducted to identify the effect of motive for major selection, major satisfaction on the nursing career commitment among senior nursing students. Data were collected from 215 nursing students and analyzed using t-test, ANOVA, Scheffé test, Pearson correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis by SPSS ver. 29.0. As a result of this study, There were positive correlations between motive for major selection(r=.41, p<.001), major satisfaction(r=.35, p<.001), and nursing career commitment. The predictor on nursing career commitment was motive for major selection, explaining 39.4% (F=18.40, p<.001) of the variance. In conclusion, Through this study we found that motive for major selection has the greatest impact on nursing career commitment, it is necessary to seek educational new programs and curricula to develop nursing student's nursing career commitment.

  • This study was to analyze the media-contacting motivation and the optional seeking behavior for the informations, namely, what kinds of media the information users contact and what types of informations they select for the purpose of meeting their needs of the informations. For this purpose, the questionaires answered by 277 of the employees including the professors, reseatchers, teachers, officials and collegians were analyzed by properties. The Result of this analysis is that the new hints or ideas by the professors and the researchers appeared in the highest at the academic meetings or the reseatching activities and those at the other employees appeared at the internet sites. It was shown that there is a very close correlation between the information-seeking behaviors and the user properties as the types of their seeking informations and their information-seeking morivations are considerably different from each other.

  • Contents adaptation is a technology which converts one content to another content used in various devices. Specially, synchronization of inter-media which are included in a document is needed. There are various proposals and solutions for synchronization of inter-media. In the paper, I present "TATS : Temporal Aggregate Tree Strategy" model, which is used for specifying the temporal relationship among media in series of time. In the TATS model, aggregate tree, a sort of a binary tree, is generated from the execution time of those media. Using this aggregate tree, I implemented the inter-media synchronizations.

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the structural relationships between adult educators' instructional leadership, learners' motivation and performance among those participants in education for urban-rural migration. The survey was conducted among 22 agricultural educational institutions in South Korea, and a total number of 1,109 learners responded to a questionnaire. In order to verify the hypothesized research model, the collected data were analyzed with structural equation modeling. The major findings of this study were as follows. First, adult educators' instructional leadership had a direct effect and an indirect effect on learners' performance. Second, adult educators' instructional leadership had a direct effect on learners' motivation. Third, learners' motivation had a direct effect on learners' performance.

  • A chaotic spread spectrum communication system using a polar quarternary method is designed and implemented. Four different chaotic signals in the relation of multiplication each other are generated through the use of a coupled synchronization method in the transmitter which is composed of four Chua's circuits. Information is retrieved at the receiver which is connected to the transmitter through the use of a drive synchronization method. Since spread spectrum of information signal is spread by chaotic signal, the configuration of the system is simpler than that of any other conventional system.

  • This study examined the effects of interpersonal relationship harmony and stress coping on the college adjustment among nursing students. The participants were 231. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficients, and multiple regression. Adjustment to college life significantly correlated with interpersonal relationship harmony and stress coping style. Interpersonal relationship harmony was significantly different according to year, satisfaction with nursing as a major, and academic achievement. Multiple regression analysis showed that interpersonal relationship harmony and stress coping(problem-focused, emotion-focused, hopeful thought) explained 23% of variance in adjustment to college life. The study findings suggest that intervention intended to promote nursing students' adjustment to college life should focus on improving interpersonal relationship harmony and stress coping.
