The Mediation Effects of Relation-Continuing Intention between Enterprise Trust and Customer Citizenship Behavior - In Case of 4star & 5star Hotels in Jeju Island (기업신뢰와 고객시민행동 간 관계지속의도의 매개효과 - 제주지역 4, 5성급 호텔을 중심으로)

  • This study is purposed to make sure of the Effects of Enterprise Trust on Relation-Continuing Intention and the Mediation Effects of Relation-Continuing Intention in the effects of Enterprise Trust on Customer Citizenship Behavior. Enterprise Trust consists of two elements(Enterprise Sincerity, Enterprise Ability), Customer Citizenship Behavior is made up of two elements(Guest Preference, Guest Cooperation) and Relation-Continuing Intention has one element itself. As a result, two things have been found. First, Enterprise Trust has a partly positive impact on Customer Citizenship Behavior. In details, both of two elements of Enterprise Trust have positive influences on Guest Preference, one element of Customer Citizenship Behavior, on the other hand, Enterprise Sincerity, one element of Enterprise Trust has a positive influence on Guest Preference, one element of Customer Citizenship Behavior but Enterprise Ability, the other element of Enterprise Trust, has no meaningful impact on Guest Preference. Second, Relation-Continuing Intention has a mediating effect between Enterprise Trust and Customer Citizenship Behavior. In details, Relation-Continuing Intention has a partial mediating role between Enterprise Sincerity and Guest Preference, between Enterprise Ability and Guest Preference and between Enterprise Sincerity and Guest Cooperation. However Relation-Continuing Intention has a full mediating role between Enterprise Ability and Guest Cooperation.

A Structural Interactions among Customer Trust, Attitude, Involvement and Purchase Intention in Internet Shopping Mall (인터넷 쇼핑몰에서 고객신뢰, 태도, 관계몰입과 구매의도의 구조적 관계에 관한 연구)

  • This study investigates the relationship between the antecedents of Trust on Internet Shopping Mall and its effects on attitude, relationship involvement, or purchase intention on the basis of previous researches. 263 undergraduate students were used into data analysis. The date was analyzed by factor analysis, correlation analysis and Structural Equation Model(SEM) using SPSS and AMOS programs. As the results, the three antecedents of trust excepting company size had the positive effects on trust. Also, trust on Internet Shopping Mall had positive direct effects on attitude and relationship involvement. But, the direct effects of trust on buying intention were rejected. Trust on Internet Shopping Mall was intensified by the positive attitude and relationship involvement and leads to the buying intention. The results of this study provide the e-marketing strategy on Internet Shopping Mall focusing on trust, attitude, relationship involvement, and buying intention.

  • The purpose of this study is two folds; first. to identify the negative effect of customer dissatisfaction on trust and commitment. and second to examine the moderating effect of consumers' perceived equity created by various ways in which a company deals with his/her complaints. Our proposed model is empirically tested by a survey data collected from Internet shopping mall consumers who raised complaints. The simultaneous regression model is used to test the negative effect of customer dissatisfaction. To examine the moderating effect of equity, our study employs the group analysis of LISREL. The empirical result shows that customers' dissatisfaction. unless it is concerned with merchandise related dissatisfaction, influences on trust and commitment. Also, we find that consumers' perceived equity has a moderating effect on the relationship variables dissatisfaction and customer relationship variables including trust and commitment.

Relationships between Brand Satisfaction and Store Loyalty in Retail Service Firm: The Causal Role among Store Satisfaction, Brand Trust and Store Trust (소매 서비스 기업에서 브랜드만족과 점포충성도 관계: 점포만족, 브랜드신뢰 및 점포신뢰의 인과적 역할)

  • The purpose of this paper is to demonstrate the relationships between brand satisfaction and store loyalty by examining the role of brand trust, store satisfaction and store trust in determining store loyalty in retail service firms. The results of the study are as follows: First, in case of relation exchange consumers, which are characterized by cooperative actions and mutual adjustment of both buyer and seller, brand satisfaction has a positive influence on brand trust, brand trust has a positive influence on store trust, and then store trust a strong positive influence on store loyalty. That is, store loyalty can be build up by combined benefits both brand trust and store trust in relation exchange consumers. Second, in another case of transaction exchange consumer, which are discrete buyer-seller exchange of commodity or performance with minimal personal relationships and no anticipation or obligation of future exchange, brand satisfaction has a positive influence on store satisfaction, and then store satisfaction has a direct influence on store loyalty. So, retailers have to developing strong brands which could help ensure both satisfaction and loyalty.

  • This study confirmed structural causal relations among concepts such as characteristics of service-offer, satisfaction, trust, affective commitment, and loyalty and surveyed mediating roles of affective commitment. The results are as follows. First, Customized service and service reliability influenced satisfaction while service competency did not. Service reliability affected trust while customized service and service competency did not. Second, satisfaction influenced trust and affective commitment but not loyalty while trust affected affective commitment and loyalty. Third, affective commitment influenced loyalty through the mediating role. The results mean that the seller-buyer relationship is a dynamic relationship. Finally, we discussed the role of affective commitment and the strategies of affective commitment development, and suggested future studies.

Effects of Company Trust and FLSE's Trust on Loyalty in Airline Industry (항공사 신뢰와 서비스제공자 신뢰 및 충성도의 영향관계 연구)

  • It is essential to have a trust with customer, especially in the airline context which provide the best service and movement to particular destinations. However, previous researches were performed only within restricted variables regarding this topic. Thus the purpose of this research was to investigate the relationship among trust's antecedents, trust and loyalty. A convenience sample of 298 travelers from airline customers was surveyed and 286 usable questionnaires were analyzed. According to the literature review, trust's antecedents were divided into the following variables: 'competence', 'benevolence' and 'problem solving ability'. Trust objects were divided into 'company trust' and 'front line service employee(FLSE) trust' accordingly. The findings of the study are as follows. First, company trust's antecedents which are 'competence', 'benevolence' and 'problem solving ability' yielded positive effects on company trust. Specifically, 'competence' has the strongest influence among variables. Second, as far as FLSE trust's antecedents are concerned, only 'competence' and 'problem solving ability' have positive effects on FLSE trust. Third, both company trust and FLSE trust influenced each other. Lastly, both company trust and FLSE trust have positive effects on loyalty.

The Effects of Perceived Justice of Service Recovery Efforts on the Customer Relationship Performance in Mobile Social Commerce (모바일 소셜 커머스에서 서비스 회복 노력의 공정성이 대고객 관계성과에 미치는 영향)

  • This paper aims to examine the effects of perceived justice of service recovery efforts on the customer relationship performance in mobile social commerce. To this end, we classified cognitive-affective trusts and post-recovery satisfaction into the customer relationship performance. This research employs a field survey of customers who experienced service failures in mobile social commerce and a covariance structural model analysis in order to test hypotheses of our research model. The findings present that all justices of service recovery efforts positively affect the cognitive trust, whereas the only procedural justice significantly influences the affective trust. In addition, the results show that cognitive-affective trusts have a positive effect on the post-recovery satisfaction. Our results suggest practical implications that are used to help managers maintain and improve relations with the customers who experienced service failures and to increase the post-recovery satisfaction.

  • The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the brand and awareness of the brand image relationship in a catering company in Gwangju quality(trust, satisfaction). Twenty adults aged 20 years or older residing in Gwangju were surveyed after setting a hypothesis as a convenience sampling method in order to achieve the research objectives via extraction of the sample survey and empirical analysis. Customers using the brand image of catering companies in a relationship significantly affected the quality of the relationship (trust) forming symbolic images, but the images that were empirically related significantly to the trust did not form a significant relationship for trust. Brand image quality significantly impacted the relationship(satisfaction) that is the symbolic image of relations forms a significant relationship between satisfaction. Empirically, however, the image did not form a significant relationship for satisfaction. Brand recognition is significant in relationship quality(trust) and a significant relationship brand recognition, as it has formed a significant relationship on trust. Brand recognition is the quality of the catering companies using the customer significant effect on the relationship (satisfaction) relationship of brand recognition was formed a significant relationship satisfaction. As a result, the catering company's brand image, brand perception and empirical validation suggested a relationship between the quality of the relationship that provided very significant implications in this regard. In the future, overcoming the limitations of this study will necessitate conducting a more in-depth and detailed study.
