과학기술 문헌을 활용한 계량정보분석에서 학과정보의 활용은 매유 유용하다. 본 논문에서는 한국과학기술인용색인데이터베이스에 등재된 국내 학술지 논문에 출현하는 대학기관 소속 저자의 학과정보를 추출하고 데이터 정제 및 학과유형 분류 처리를 통해 학과정보 데이터셋을 구축하였다. 학과정보 데이터셋을 학습데이터와 검증데이터로 이용하여 딥러닝 기반의 자동분류 모델을 구현하였으며, 모델 성능 평가 결과는 한글 학과정보 기준 98.6%와 영문 학과정보 기준 97.6%의 정확률로 측정되었다. 향후 과학기술 분야별 지적관계 분석 및 논문 주제분류 등에 학과정보 자동분류 처리기의 활용이 기대된다.

In traditional environment, user must search each journal OPAC, bibliographic DB, and full-text DB and E-Journal separately until user finds scientific and technology informations that he needs. The purpose of this study is to build one-click service system of Journals that supports integrating search. This system provides various functions, such as, journal browsing, journal search, article search, alert function, my library, document delivery service by integrating databases and electronic journals. Users search all information sources through journal OPAC and acquire journal full-text by single interface.

본 사업은 국내에 과학기술 관련 기관들이 보유하고 있는 분야별 전문정보 및 국내에서 생산되는 과학기술 문헌정보를 총괄적으로 데이터베이스화하여 과학기술분야의 연구자들이 필요로 하는 연구정보를 신속, 정확하게 제공할 수 있는 국가 과학기술정보의 효율적인 유통을 위하여 수행되었다.

정보통신의 발전으로 디지털 콘텐츠에 대한 서비스 방식이 위치정보를 가지고 서비스하는 URL(Uniform Resource Locator)방식의 문제점과 기존의 물리적인 저작물이 디지털 콘텐츠로 전환되면서 기존의 식별자로는 디지털 콘텐츠의 특성을 충족시키는 식별이 미흡하고 한계가 있다. 또한, 학술지 위주의 식별자는 연구가 활발하나 비학술지에 대한 식별자 연구는 부족한 실정이다. 따라서, 해외 주요 디지털 콘텐츠 서비스기관의 식별체계 활용사례를 분석하고 그 결과를 토대로 한국과학기술정보연구원(KISTI) 고유 식별자인 KOI(Kisti Object Identifier)를 개발하였다.

Open peer review intends to help review a manuscript in a transparent and accountable manner, opening up the identity of a reviewer and authors in a scholarly journal. Although some research about open peer review, for example, authors' understanding of open peer review, exists, research about editors' perspectives of a scholarly journal in Korean domestic science and technology fields has not been found. Editors' views may include whether an academic journal plans to adopt open peer review, when they might adopt it, or what the possible benefits, challenges, and issues in adopting open peer review would be. This paper presents a survey scheme, data, and analysis of Korean editors' perspectives on open peer review. Specifically, we designed the online survey questionnaire, collected the survey data from journal editors, and analyzed the survey results to explore editors' understanding of open peer review. We then compared our research with previous work, such as our Focused Group Interview and other similar domestic and foreign analysis. This study result is expected to help make an open peer review policy for public institutes to provide essential services for scholarly journals, including a scholarly peer review system. Academic society may also get some insights in adopting the open peer review method in the peer-review process.

지난 7월10일 부터 7월20일가지 한국과학기술단체총연합회(회장 민관식)와 재미한국과학기술자 협회(회장 최상일)는 제5차 국내외한국과학기술자 종합학술대회를 개최한바 있다. 종합학술대회 개최 목적의 하나인 재외 한국과학기술자 국내유치을 위해 대회 마지막 날인 7월20일 과학기술회관9층 강당에서 재미한국과학기술자 국내유치를 위한 간담회가 열렸다. 해외에서 활약하고 있는 한국과학기술인의 우수한 두뇌를 국내에 유치하여 과학기술의 진흥과 산업발전에 가속화 하자는 것은 오늘의 시점에서 볼 때 충분한 타당성을 지닌 의도이다. 반면에 해외에서 활동중인 우리 과학기술인들이 조국의 현실을 이해하면서도 선뜻 돌아오지 못하고 있는 이유는 무엇인가? 그들의 희망은? 그들의 요구는? 또한 이미 유치되어 일하고 있는 이들의 형편은? 국내 산업기술계와 기업체 대표들의 발언을 간추려 본다. 이날 간담회에는 국내측에서 민관식 과총회장을 비롯 산업기술계 중진들과 재미측에서 최상일 박사 (재미과협화장)등 재미과학기술자(제5차 종합학술대회 참가자)100여명이 참석하여 성황을 이뤘다.
