Next POI Recommendation based on Graph Neural Network of Augmented Graph (증강 그래프 기반 그래프 뉴럴 네트워크를 활용한 POI 추천 모델)

  • 본 연구는 궤적 데이터(trajectory data)를 대상으로 증강 그래프 기반의 그래프 뉴럴 네트워크를 활용하여 다음에 방문한 장소를 추천하는 모델을 제안한다. 제안 모델은 전체 궤적 데이터를 그래프로 표현하여 추출한 글로벌 궤적 플로우의 특성을 다음 방문할 POI 추천에 활용한다. 이때, POI 추천시 자주 발생하는 두 가지 문제를 추가로 해결함으로써 POI 추천의 정확도를 높이는 것을 목표로 한다. 첫 번째 문제는 추천 대상 궤적 데이터의 길이가 짧은 경우에 성능 저하가 발생한다는 것이다. 두 번째 문제는 콜드-스타트 문제이다. 기존 POI 추천 모델은 매우 적은 방문 기록만 가지는 사용자 또는 POI에 대해서는 매우 낮은 예측 성능을 보인다. 본 연구에서는 궤적 그래프에서 일부 엣지를 삭제하여 생성한 증강 그래프 기반의 궤적 플로우 특징 기반 모델을 제안함으로써 짧은 길이의 궤적 데이터 및 콜드-스타트 사용자/POI에 대한 추천 성능을 높인다.

A Study on Replica Restoration Methods through Scientific Analysis of Seongju Lee Family's Portraits (성주 이씨가(家) 초상화의 과학적 분석을 통한 모사복원방안 연구)

  • Materials and techniques used for two portraits (Jo-nyeon Lee and S ung-in Lee) of the Lee family from Seongju enshrined in Seongsan temple were scientifically analyzed, and based on the data, an optimal replica restoration method was designed. According to the expression technique investigation, both portraits were expressed mainly in line drawing, but there were differences in shoes, pupils, the color expression of flesh, overpainting, and traces of reinforcement. Pigment analysis revealed that a mixture of cinnabar and minium, organic pigment, azurite, malachite, lead white, and yellow pigment were used in common. In the case of Sung-in Lee's portrait, seokganju and atacamite were also used. In addition, comparison with the contemporaneous portraits of gentry showed that the portrait style at the time was found in the two portraits, but the singularity was modified differently there. Based on the scientific analysis, it was decided to replicate the old color restoration for Jo-nyeon Lee's portrait while for Sung-in Lee's portrait, it was decided to replicate the phenomenon. Detailed coloring techniques were presented by supplementing the expression techniques that are difficult to confirm visually using scientific data. In addition, by measuring the chromaticity of representative positions in the portrait for each color and presenting the color reference value calculated as the average value, the current color of the artifact can be replicated and restored based on the objective data as much as possible.

  • The development of big data technology was to more accurately predict diversified contemporary society and to more efficiently operate it, and to enable impossible technique in the past. This technology can be utilized in various fields such as the social science, economics, politics, cultural sector, and science technology at the national level. It is a prerequisite to find valuable information by data mining techniques in order to analyze big data. Data mining techniques associated with big data involve text mining, opinion mining, cluster analysis, association rule mining, and so on. The most widely used data mining technique is to explore association rules. This technique has been used to find the relationship between each set of items based on the association thresholds such as support, confidence, lift, similarity measures, etc.This paper proposed cosine net confidence as association thresholds, and checked the conditions of interestingness measure proposed by Piatetsky-Shapiro, and examined various characteristics. The comparative studies with basic confidence and cosine similarity, and cosine net confidence were shown by numerical example. The results showed that cosine net confidence are better than basic confidence and cosine similarity because of the relevant direction.

  • 소프트웨어 신뢰성 보증을 위한 소프트웨어 신뢰성 평가 프로세스는 다양한 관점에서 대상 소프트웨어 시스템뿐만 아니라 관련된 조직 및 개발 프로세스에 대한 분석을 필요로 한다. 특히, 신뢰성 평가 프로세스 수행 단계 중 단계별 척도 식별단계는 대상 시스템의 도메인 특성을 반영해야 하는 까다로운 작업이다. 현재 신뢰성 관련 척도들이 여러 문서에 다양한 의미로 혼재해 있어 이를 조사하는데 많은 노력이 들며 대상 시스템 환경에 적합한 척도 식별을 위해 불필요하게 많은 회의와 인터뷰를 진행하고 있는 실정이다. 본 논문에서는 표준문서 및 관련문헌에 근거하여 신뢰성 척도 POOL 을 구성하고 각 척도 원시 데이터의 수집 조건에 기반한 적용조건 매트릭스를 이용하여 기존의 신뢰성 관련 척도 조사 및 수집, 척도 식별 과정에서 소요되는 자원, 시간의 낭비를 줄이고자 한다. 이 방법을 적용하였을 때 소요된 시간과 기존의 회의를 통해 소요되는 시간을 비교하여 본 논문에서 제시하는 방법의 효과를 평가한다.

  • Customized medical care and services timely providing effective prevention and treatment by collecting and using individuals' biomedical data are recently possible and utilized for users' health care. They are developed as the real-time health care services and information is provided to individuals by using smart phones, PC, tablet, etc. Interactive communication is supported by informing managers of analysis data and results, through collected data. It is therefore the time for constructing health care. This study attempts to prepare for patent applications of technical development at this time, by analyzing the tendency of smart wearable health care technologies, including biological signal-based health care devices and real-time health care system. Patents regarding smart wearable health care technologies were reported to have the relatively higher concentration of research development. Korea focuses on patent activities for real-time health care systems across the intervals of analysis, while U.S and European countries actively make efforts for patent activities regarding health care devices Japan conduct patent activities across health care devices and systems, based on bio-technologies. Korea has recently dominated the market of patents for bio-technologies-based health care devices and real-time health care devices and also appears to secure patents for the technologies and the market, so entry barriers to the market of smart wearable health care technologies are determined to be higher in Korea. It is important to establish the portfolios of patents, by securing patent rights for the figures of products, manufacturing methods and other related technical systems, if technologies are planned to be commercialized.

Exploratory Research on Automating the Analysis of Scientific Argumentation Using Machine Learning (머신 러닝을 활용한 과학 논변 구성 요소 코딩 자동화 가능성 탐색 연구)

  • In this study, we explored the possibility of automating the process of analyzing elements of scientific argument in the context of a Korean classroom. To gather training data, we collected 990 sentences from science education journals that illustrate the results of coding elements of argumentation according to Toulmin's argumentation structure framework. We extracted 483 sentences as a test data set from the transcription of students' discourse in scientific argumentation activities. The words and morphemes of each argument were analyzed using the Python 'KoNLPy' package and the 'Kkma' module for Korean Natural Language Processing. After constructing the 'argument-morpheme:class' matrix for 1,473 sentences, five machine learning techniques were applied to generate predictive models relating each sentences to the element of argument with which it corresponded. The accuracy of the predictive models was investigated by comparing them with the results of pre-coding by researchers and confirming the degree of agreement. The predictive model generated by the k-nearest neighbor algorithm (KNN) demonstrated the highest degree of agreement [54.04% (${\kappa}=0.22$)] when machine learning was performed with the consideration of morpheme of each sentence. The predictive model generated by the KNN exhibited higher agreement [55.07% (${\kappa}=0.24$)] when the coding results of the previous sentence were added to the prediction process. In addition, the results indicated importance of considering context of discourse by reflecting the codes of previous sentences to the analysis. The results have significance in that, it showed the possibility of automating the analysis of students' argumentation activities in Korean language by applying machine learning.

  • Modern Warfare is transforming into a Network Centric Warfare(NCW) where surveillance systems, command control systems and strike systems are interconnected with advanced IT technologies to share battlefield situations. The South Korean military is using the various tactical data links(TDL) such as Link-K, Link-16, Link-11 and KVMF depending on each military's battlefield situation. Joint Tactical Data Link System(JTDLS) is a system thar shares tactical information in near-real time between army/navy/air joint forces and additionally establishes Link-22 in Link-K, Link-16 and KVMF. In this paper, we propose the Link-22 system structure, Link-22 message analysis and the interface structure between the tactical data link processor and Link-22 to apply Link-22 to the JTDLS.

The Development of Information Circulation System for Science & Technology Video Digital Contents Based on KOI(Knowledge Object Identifier) (식별체계기반 과학기술 동영상 콘텐츠 유통시스템 구축 방안)

  • With the rapid improvement of the internet and information technology, digital contents containing knowledge and information resource is circulated through the internet. A circulation system based on a standardized identifier is required to share this kind of information, generated from seminars and workshops conducted in the area of science and technology and saved in the form of digital video contents. The main objective of this study is on constructing an information circulation system based on the KOI identifier to effectively share the digital video contents produced from seminars and workshops related to the area of science and technology. Furthermore, the overview and status of a standardized identifier, and the functional aspects of the system such as the methods to apply the KOI identification system on the subject and its slides of digital video contents, a digital video contents management system, a centralized identifier management system, and the methods applied for the search of digital video metadata have been suggested to support construction of the information circulation system.

  • As the information technology is evolved and the human genome project is finalized over the world, the Bioinformatics - the integration of abundant Biological science and information technology - has shown up and is continuously being advanced. Together with the evolution of Bioinformatics, the websites dealing with Bioinformation have been set up to provide relevant information to the Bioscientists. Among the numerous global websites, the preferred websites by the majority of domestic Bioscientists are BRIC (Biological Research Information Center) of POSTECH(Pohang University of Science and Technology) in Korea, CCBB(Center for Computational Biology and Bioinformatics) of KISTI(Korea Institute of Science and Technology Information), KOBIC(Korean Bioinformation Center) of KRIBB(Korea Research Institute of Bioscience and Biotechnology), NCBI(National Center for Biotechnology Information) in USA, EBI(European Bioinformatics Institute) in Europe and DDBJ(DNA Data Bank of Japan) in Japan. In this paper, the comparative analysis was executed by investigating contents status and functions of the above-mentioned 6 websites. In addition, questionnaire survey of Bioscience Researchers' utilization status and their needs to those 6 websites was conducted.

  • 과학기술은 기술영역간의 관계를 통해 고유한 연구영역을 그리며 발달하며, 이는 학제의 다양성을 바탕으로 기존 기술들이 독특한 결합과정의 형성을 의미한다. 기술의 결합과정은 지식의 결합과정 관점으로 이해할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 기존의 에너지산업과 다른 특성을 갖는 신 재생에너지의 기술발전경로를 '지식흐름'의 관점에서 탐색하여 신 재생에너지 연구의 학제 구조 및 다양성을 살펴보고자 한다. 계량서지학적 분석은 데이터 수집의 간편성 및 초기 연구결과물 분석에 적용할 수 있다는 장점에 의해 여러 분야에서 폭넓게 응용되어 왔다. 특히, A.L Porter(1984)에 의해 'citation'을 이용한 학제간관계 측정에 적용하여 계량서지학적 방법을 바탕으로 지식흐름을 관찰하는데 선구적인 방법을 제시하였다. 또한 Tijsen(1992)은 동시분류분석방법을 적용하여 네덜란드 에너지 연구분야의 학제구조를 분석하였고, Kajikawa(2007)은 에너지분야의 신기술인 태양전지와 연료전지에 한정하여 인용네트워크 분석을 수행하여 연구발전의 경향을 알아보았다. 이에 본 연구에서는 계량 서지학적 방법의 하나인 co-classification 방법론을 적용하여 태양광 분야 중 태양전지에 초점을 맞추어 학제 간 다양성 분석 연구를 수행 하였다. 태양광은 신 재생에너지 중 전후방연관 파급효과가 가장 큰 분야이며, 반도체 기반기술을 바탕으로 그 기술을 전개할 수 있기에 국내 산업과의 연관도가 높은 산업이다. 태양전지의 연구 동향 파악 및 고유의 연구영역을 도출을 분석하기 위한 기본 자료는 ISI의 'Web of Science'를 기반하여 수집하였다. 또한 태양광 연구의 연구구조 파악을 위하여 계량서지학분석의 하나인 'co-classification' 방법론을 추가적으로 적용하여 학제간의 분석을 수행하였다. 분석결과 1979-2009년까지의 태양전지 연구 논문 2,602개를 바탕으로 동시에 2개 이상의 SC를 포함한 논문은 총 논문의 51.8%이며, 출현한 SC는 65개로 분석되었다. 이 중 2개 이상의 SC가 동시에 출연한 횟수는 증가하는 경향을 가짐을 알 수 있었다. 이는 과학기술의 발전이 기술의 결합과정 또는 지식의 결합과정 관점으로 이해할 수 있음을 확인할 수 있었다.
