Determinants of Continued Usage of National R&D Information Services (과학기술정보이용자의 지속사용의지 영향요인 분석: 정보품질, 고객가치 및 상황요인을 중심으로)

  • The importance of the creation, diffusion and utilization of the knowledge and information has been magnified at the 21st century of knowledge and information society. If the utilization level of the web site of the national-level R&D information system is enhanced, the duplication of the researches as well as overlapped R&D investment could be greatly reduced. In this regards, this study aims to identify the factors which affect customer value and intention of continued usage for the national science & technology information services (NTIS & NDSL). The empirical research results show that information service quality have a significant influence on the continuous usage intention of science & technology information service. Customer value, as well, influence the continued usage intention as a mediating variable. In addition, the situational factors of information use by itself shows a significant effect on customer value, but it does not moderating the relationship between information service quality and customer value. After a description of research result, we discussed implications and limit of the study as well as future study direction.

  • 많은 연구기관에서 연구성과물로 연구보고서, 논문, 특허등의 산출물을 생산하고 있다. 이러한 데이터는 기관의 특성과 자체적으로 운영되고 있는 정보서비스의 성격에 따라 고유의 데이터 스키마와 형태를 가지고 있다. 또한 연구성과물(논문,연구보고서)을 체계적으로 관리하고, 데이터의 부가가치를 높이기 위해 서로의 데이터의 연계와 융합을 통해 새로운 정보서비스가 요구되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 서로 다른 네트워크간 에 있는 데이터를 연계하기 위해 데이터 상호 운용을 활용하고, 이를 위한 방안으로 MAS(Multi Agent System)기반의 연계프레임워크를 통해 연구보고서의 체계적인 수집 및 서비스를 위한 데이터의 융합을 위한 방안을 제시하고자 한다.

  • We studied the methods for boosting a user participating service using KOSEN(The Global Network or Korean Scientists and Engineers) OpenLab service. OpenLab is a laboratory database of all the fields of science and technology, and it is different from other services in that basically it makes users register their information volunteerly. User participation service is not easy, so we made several strategies like promotion, event, and connection to other services. In result, we could collect about 4,300 laboratory database. Because user participation is a key concept for the Web 2.0, this study would contribute to the operation of the related services, especially to the services for scientists and engineers.

  • 디지털 기술이 각 분야의 기술과 융합하는 디지털 전환(Digital Transformation)은 4차 산업혁명을 가속화 하고 있다. 국가적으로 클라우드·인공지능·데이터 관련 정책 수립과 디지털 댐 사업, 데이터 플랫폼 사업 등을 통해 산업분야의 디지털 전환을 추진 중이나, 소재·바이오 등 극히 일부 과학기술 분야 외에 클라우드, 데이터, 인공지능, 시뮬레이션 등을 종합적으로 지원하는 국가적 지원이 전무한 실정이다. 본 논문은 국가 R&D의 디지털 전환 가속화를 위한 디지털융합R&D 플랫폼 제공을 위해 계산과학 SW를 서비스하기 위한 프레임워크를 설계하였다.

  • This study is to provide the customer's satisfaction and the economic evaluation model for the KISTI S&T Informaion Analysis Report with the results of the survey. Recently the important issue for the informaion analysis service is make policies that reflect the proper demand and satisfaction of customers. In this paper, we explain how the evaluate of information analysis service in the customer's satisfaction and the economic valuation model can be estimated using survey. In such a setting, the customer's satisfaction and the economic evaluation model are important methods for the reflection of monitored information in national scientific and technological policies.

  • The Science and Technology Information Service provided by the Korea Institute of Science and Technology Information (KISTI) is a service designed to allow users to easily and conveniently search and view content that is built similar to the general information service. NDSL is KISTI's core science, technology and information service, providing about 138 million content and having about 93 million page views in a year of 2019. In this paper, various insights were derived through the analysis of how science and technology information such as academic papers, reports and patents provided by NDSL is searched and utilized through web services (https://www.ndsl.kr) and search query words. In addition to general statistics such as the status of content construction, utilization status and utilization methods by type of content, monthly/weekly/time-of-day content usage, content view rate per one-time search by content type, the comparison of the use status of academic papers by year, the relationship between the utilization of domestic academic papers and the KCI index we analyzed the usability of each content type, such as academic papers and patents. We analyzed query words such as the language form of query words, the number of words of query words, and the relationship between query words and timeliness by content type. Based on the results of these analyses, we would like to propose ways to improve the service. We suggest that NDSL improvements include ways to dynamically reflect the results of content utilization behavior in the search results rankings, to extend query and to establish profile information through non-login user identification for targeted services.

  • In this study, It designated to grasp and analyse the status and problem regarding whole information service system in the object of specialized information center in scientific and technological fields which is designated and supported by KISTI(Korea Institute of Science and Technology Information). And with this basis, it presented the efficient information service plan which reflected and adopted recent information technology, of specialized information center in scientific and technical fields To acquisite and analyse about the status and problem regarding whole information service system of specialized information center in scientific and technical fields, it executed a preceding research analysis, a questionnaire investigation, conversation which leads a direct visit to corresponding agency, website analysis of home page related corresponding agency, and the brainstorming method which leads the conference of the regular discussion with specialist in related fields in parallel.

  • 정보검색서비스는 '사용자가 얼마나 편리하게 검색할 수 있는가'와 '검색 결과에 얼마나 만족하는가'가 중요한데, 이는 정보검색 기술 개발에서 가장 중요하게 고려해야 할 사항이다. 본고는 과학기술 지식정보를 대상으로, 어휘망과 온톨로지적 성격을 가지고 있는 U-WIN을 기반으로 의미적인 정보검색 서비스가 가능하도록 하기 위하여, 한국과학기술정보연구원(KISTI)에서 개발 중인 U-WIN을 이용한 의미적 정보검색 기술과 시범서비스인 KISTI-STA를 소개한다.

  • 전체적인 관점으로 국가 과학기술 R&D를 조망하는 국가 과학기술 R&D 기반정보 온톨로지는 인력정보, 과제정보, 성과정보를 포함하며 여러 URI들과 연계된다. 본 논문에서는 기존의 단일 URI 체계가 아닌 시스템 적이고 다층적인 국가 과락기술 R&D 기반정보 온톨로지의 인스턴스 레벨에 필요한 다중 URI 관리 및 서비스 시스템을 구현한다. 본 시스템은 관리적인 측면에서 웹 인터페이스 기반 URI 등록과 조회를, 서비스 측면에서 URI 질의중심의 웹서비스를 제공한다. 기존 정보(KISTI의 KOI, 학술진흥재단의 부서 및 기관, 국가과학기술인력 종합정보시스템의 인력DB)와 연계를 기반으로 가용성 및 재사용성을 높이고 신규정보를 위한 URI 생성규칙을 제공함으로써 URI 관리 및 서비스 시스템 완성도를 높였다.
