Research information services such as ScienceON, RISS, and DBpia used by researchers during the R&D process mainly consist of a user interface in the form of a portal and search functions that respond to demands. However, the importance of open collaboration that freely shares and utilizes the research process and results and provides various tools and services necessary for collaborative research is gradually increasing, so there are also limitations to these service roles. Thus, we design WithON, which provides collaborative research environments of a preemptive response method, focusing on a personalized user interface to support the entire R&D cycle. We expect WithON would fundamentally change the existing research information services into collaborative research-centric ones.

본 연구에서는 질문지법을 이용하여 과학기술분야 연구자들의 정보요구를 파악하고 이를 바탕으로 정보요구별 탐색행태를 분석하였다. 분석결과, 특정 정보요구에 대해 비공식 커뮤니케이션 채널이 정보탐색에 중요한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 탐색과정에서 이용자가 느끼는 정보부족의 원인에 대해서는 정보요구별로 어느 정도 차이가 있는 것이 확인되었다. 반면, 정보탐색환경에서 연구자들이 중요하게 생각하는 요소는 정보요구별로 큰 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 정보요구를 바탕으로 과학기술분야 연구자의 탐색행태 분석결과를 적용함으로써 이용자 특성에 따라 개별화된 과학기술 정보 서비스를 기대할 수 있다.

Using information mapping methodology we will discover which of the multitude of information sources, services and systems used by corporation are actually resources and which are less important, redundant, or unnecessary. The discovery process of information resources will illuminate problems and opportunities related corporation's strengths and weeknesses in information quality, accessibility, performance, use, and effectiveness.

With the advent of knowledge-based society where knowledge generates power, the importance of information is growing than ever before. However, it is not easy to find necessary information in time. Collecting, processing and disseminating valuable information is getting more and more important. If those information include scientific and technical issues, it is more difficult to connect the sender and receiver, provider and consumer and also creates various factors and situation. This study aims to provide an application method of IMC(Integrated Marketing Communication) Strategy for efficient information services of science and technology which is one of KISTI's major functions. An analysis was proceeded in 3 categories with provider and receiver, and medium and message. The current problem in system was reviewed through each analysis and a feasible plan for the realization of IMC Strategy in future is proposed.

The purpose of this study is to improve guidelines for public library services to deaf community in Korea. For this study, literature review, case study and survey were performed. Based upon the results, the mandatory and optional elements were suggested within the framework of "Standards and Guidelines for Library Services for the Disabled" developed by National Library Support Center for the Disabled in Korea in 2009. Based upon these elements, public libraries should modify and supplement the guidelines reflecting the local circumstances. Eventually, this guideline will help librarians to provide professional and effective library services to deaf people.
