본 연구는 미국 ALA (American Library Association)가 인정한 문헌정보학 석사과정 (Master of Library Services) 교육과정에서 연구방법론의 현황과 특성을 분석하고, 문헌정보학 프로그램이 개설된 기관 내 다른 대학원 프로그램에서의 연구방법론의 위상을 문헌정보학과와 비교하였다. 연구결과 문헌정보학의 경우, 연구방법론에서 다루어지는 내용들이 매우 다양하고 일관성이 없었으며, 다수의 문헌정보학 프로그램들 내에서 연구방법론이 필수과목이 아니었으며, 상위20위에 드는 학교 중 절반만이 연구방법론을 필수과목으로 요구하였다. 그러나, 문헌정보학 프로그램이 개설된 기관 내의 자연과학 프로그램, 대부분의 사회과학 프로그램, 경영학 석사과정 (MBA), 사회복지학 석사과정들이 연구방법론을 핵심과목으로 요구하였으며, 이들 분야들은 자신의 분야의 특수성을 반영하는 연구방법론 과목을 개설하였다. 또한 이들 분야의 프로그램들을 승인하는 국가적인 기관들이 연구방법론의 필수과목 개설을 명시하였다. 털 연구는 문헌정보학의 학문적 경쟁력을 강화하고, 연구의 질을 향상시키기 위해서는, 문헌정보학 학문의 특수성을 반영할 수 있는 연구방법론의 개발과 연구방법론의 핵심과목 지정이 중요함을 제시한다.

Research methods is an integral component of a field and plays a crucial role for the development of a field. Three areas are explored to assess research methods in Korean library and information science (US) graduate programs: (1) comparison of research methods'courses across Korean LIS graduate programs; (2) content analysis of the trend of research methods education; (3) comparison of research methods'courses between the U.S. and Korean library and information science graduate programs.

보이는 하늘이야 같았겠지만, 문화적인 배경이 다른 민족이나 국가, 그리고 종교가 각기 다른 방식으로 우주를 이해해 왔을 것이다. 이들이 구체화되어서 설화나 신화 또는 종교의 우주관을 형성하는 과정이 달랐으리라는 것도 쉽게 상상할 수 있을것이다. 이글에서는 현대우주론이 형성 되는 과정을 서양 우주론의 관점에서 살펴보고 현대표준우주론인 대폭발 우주론에 대해서도 알아보기로 한다.

The essay examines the development and characteristics of regionalism as new social-political conflicts in Western Europe since 1970's and explores theoretical approaches of regionalism in terms of modemization theory of social sciences. There are various types of regionalistic movements: separatism, regional equity development, federalism, autonomy, nationalism, and so on. These different orientations have already shown serious problems, theoretical and conceptional, conceming the analysis of regionalism. But in conceptualizing this phenomenon, five competitive theses could be distinguished: persistence thesis, differentiation thesis, political procedure thesis, convergence thesis, and counter-differentiation thesis. Although the heuristic theses are still elaborated on the base of empirical studies and actual data, they indicate that each thesis ontologises the region as one of the key concepts explaining regionalism very differently.

This study seeks to develop a curriculum operating model for Korean Library and Information Science, based on investigations into LIS curricula at home and abroad. Standard courses that can be applied to this model were also proposed. This study comprehensively analyzed the contents of domestic and foreign curricula and surveyed current librarians in all types of library fields. As a result, this study proposed required courses, core courses, and elective courses. Six required LIS courses are: Introduction to Library and Information Science, Information Organization, Information Services, Library and Information Center Management, Information Retrieval, and Field Work. Six core LIS courses are: Classification & Cataloging Practice, Subject Information Resources, Collection Development, Digital Library, Introduction to Bibliography, and Introduction to Archive Management. Twenty selective LIS courses include: the General Library and Information Science area (Cultural History of Information, Information Society and Library, Library and Copyright, Research Methods in Library and Information Science), the Information Organization area (Metadata Fundamentals, KORMARC Practice), the Information Services area (Information Literacy Instruction, Reading Guidance, Information User Study), the Library and Information Center Management area (Library Management, including management for different kinds of libraries, Library Information Cooperator, Library Marketing, Non-book Material and Multimedia Management (Contents Management), the Information Science area (Database Management, including Web DB Management, Indexing and Abstracting, Introduction to Information Science, Understanding Information Science, Automated System of Library, Library Information Network), and the Archival Science area (Preservation Management).

기술 로드맵(technology roadmap)은 기업의 사업전략을 기술계획에 반영하고 기술을 제품, 시장과 연결하는 기술기획 방법론이다. 기존의 연구들은 기술 로드맵의 전략적 효과에 대한 정성적 분석이나 기본적인 이해를 돕기 위한 연구에 치우쳐 있어, 구체적인 작성과정이나 작성과정에 포함되는 의사결정을 지원하는 방법론 개발에 대한 연구는 부족했다. 이에 본 연구는 QFD(Quality Function Deployment)와 웹 기반 시스템의 설계를 통해 기술 로드맵 작성과정을 지원하는 방법론을 제안하고자 한다. 구체적으로는 우선 QFD를 활용하여 고객동인(market driver)과 제품 동인(product driver), 제품 동인과 기술 동인(technology driver)의 연결고리를 발견하고 다음으로 전략적 의사결정을 위한 대안을 평가하는 과정으로 구성된다. 마지막으로 제안한 방법론을 구현하는 웹 기반의 시스템을 소개한다. 웹 기반 시스템과 QFD의 도입으로, 의사결정을 지원하는 체계적인 틀을 제공하고 기술로드맵 작성과정을 보다 효율적으로 수행할 수 있도록 하는 효과를 기대할 수 있다.

현대적인 의미에서의 CRM은 정보시스템의 구축 및 활용과 유기적인 관계를 가지고 있으므로 정보시스템 기술이 없이는 CRM이 성립될 수 없고 CRM을 전개해가는 과정은 정보시스템 구축과 전략의 수립 및 집행을 결합한 과정으로 파악해야 한다. 따라서 일반적인 CRM 방법론에서의 절차는 전략 계획의 수립, 전략의 실행, 전략 실행결과의 평가라는 전략계획 실행 과정상에 정보시스템의 계획, 분석, 설계, 구축, 운영이라는 정보시스템 기발 과정이 결합된 형태가 된다.

제품 계열 공학 (Product Line Engineering, PLE)은 유사한 도메인에 속한 제품들로부터 공통성과 가변성을 분석하여 재사용 가능한 핵심 자산 (core asset)을 만들고, 만들어진 핵심 자산을 사용하여 어플리케이션을 개발하는 제품 개발 기술이다. 그러나 아직까지는 표준화된 방법론이 존재하지 않아 산업계와 학계는 해당 제품에 적합한 방법론 또는 프로세스의 일부를 선택하는 과정에서 어려움을 겪고 있다. 본 논문에서는 재사용성을 강조하는 PLE 방법론의 핵심 자산 구성 요소를 비교하여, 산업계나 학계가 핵심 자산을 개발하는 과정에서 효율성을 높일 수 있는 방법론을 선택하는데 도움이 되는 기반 연구를 한다. 나아가 본 논문은 비교 기준이 된 요소들과 비교 결과가 PLE 방법론을 표준화하는 과정에서도 사용될 수 있도록 정보를 제공한다.

The National Department of Education approved the 'Information and Library' 'Curriculum which contained the educational role of school libraries. This curriculum contained and integrated the library guidance, reading education and cooperative instruction that teacher-librarians have taught. The school education has basically been led, based on curriculum. Therefore, it is important to have all kinds of educational activities related to the school library approved as school curriculum. This study is to introduce Base Connectionism, Base Integrationism, Top 456 Approach, and Curriculum-Based Approach, based on 'Information and Library' curriculum.

본 연구의 목적은 한국 현대시 텍스트가 독자에게 전달하는 시적 효과를 담화 텍스트 언어학 및 인지적 화용론의 관점에서 분석하는 것이다. 담화 텍스트 언어학은 텍스트의 언어 자료 자체보다는 이를 생산하고 수용하는 인지 과정에 주목하는 인지과학의 한 분야이며, 적합성 원리로 되는 인지적 화용론은 텍스트 언어학에서 규명하는 바 여러 인지적 조작 절차들의 심리학적 근거가 된다. 많은 인지적 책략 및 조작 절차들이 집약되어 있는 한국 현대시 텍스트를 인지 화용론적 관점에서 분석한 결과, 이제까지 모호하게 개진되어 오던 많은 시적 효과가 텍스트 언어학 및 인지적 화용론의 분석 장치들에 의해서 명쾌하게 설명될 수 있음이 밝혀졌다. 즉, 정보성의 격상 및 격하, 각별한 결속구조의 사용 및 그 수용 과정, 작가의 상황점검과 상황관리 과정에 의한 전국적 인지 패턴의 활성화 및 수정 등의 인지적 절차를 통해서 독자의 맥락이 수정, 확장되는 효과가 일어나고 바로 이것이 궁극적으로는 시적 효과를 낳는다는 점을 설명할 수 있다.
