Effects of the Limited Nutrient Supply at the Pollination Stage on the Growth and Nutrient Uptake of Muskmelon Grown in Rockwool (온실멜론의 암면재배에 있어서 수분기의 양분공급제한이 생육 및 양분흡수에 미치는 영향)

  • 본 실험은 온실멜론을 암면재배하여 수분전후 21일간 질소공급제한이 생육, 품질 및 양분흡수에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다 가을과 겨울재배에서는 상당히 고농도의 양분을 흡수하는 시기이기 때문에 시즈오카대 처방(NO$_3$-N = 8me/$\ell$)을 이용하여 재배하고 양분도 제한했기 때문에 식물체는 양분부족 현상을 야기하였다. 교배 후 양분흡수를 제한하는 경우 상위엽의 과잉비대를 방지하였으나 초장과 과실의 생체증은 양분공급을 제한하지 않는 경우에 크게 나타났다. 그 원인은 양분공급을 제한하는 기간 및 시기와 시용배양액 농도 차이에 따른 양분흡수량의 차이라고 생각되었다. 이상으로부터 수분기에는 양분흡수량이 많기 때문에 양분공급을 제한하지 않고 양분공급을 증가시키는 편이 과실의 외관, 품질향상 및 과실의 당도향상에 상당히 기여할 것으로 생각되었다.

Influence the Fruit Quality of 'Campbell early' Grape according to Inoculation time of Kluyvera sp. CL2 (Kluyvera sp. CL2 처리시기가 포도 '캠벨얼리' 과실품질에 미치는 영향)

  • This study aimed to investigate the effect of inoculation time of phosphate- solubilizing Kluyvera sp. CL2 on fruit quality in cultivation of Campbell early' grape. When phosphate-solubilizing strain was treated at the stone-hardening stage, soil phosphorous increased, exchangeable cations such as K, Ca and Mg also increased. Soil pH was not changed severely due to the soil buffer capacity. Water soluble phosphate concentrations did not decrease heavily up to 20 days after inoculation. When this strain was treated at the berry-softening stage, soil phosphate solubilization ratio was high, cluster weight and sugar content also increased. Both anthocyanin contents and Hunter's values were seen to be significant when inoculation times were stone-hardening stage and berry-softening stage, in particular, increase of Hunter's value a resulted in the improvement of coloration. From these results, we could find that the inoculation of phosphate-solubilizing Kluyvera sp. CL2 at berry-softening stage was the most effective in improvement of fruit productivity and quality in cultivation of'Campbell early' grape.

부지화 감귤의 저장 품질특성에 미치는 중온처리 효과

  • 시설재배 만감류인 부지화 감귤의 수확후 저장유통시 부패 감소 및 상품성 제고를 위하여 환경친화적 전처리방법으로서 중온처리의 적용 가능성을 확인하고자, 제주 서귀포산 부지화(한라봉)감귤의 열수 및 열풍 처리에 따른 저장중 품질특성 변화를 살펴보았다. 표면상처가 없는 일정 크기의 건전 과실을 선별한 후, 각각 52$^{\circ}C$에서 2분(52-2m), 6$0^{\circ}C$에서 20초(60-20s) 동안 열수에 침지하거나 45$^{\circ}C$에서 4시간(45-4h), 8시간(45-8h) 동안 열풍을 가한 다음 5$^{\circ}C$에서 냉각 건조하였다. 충분히 냉각된 과실을 통기성 천공 LDPE 필름에 포장하여 5"C에서 21일, 18$^{\circ}C$에서 7일간 저장하면서 생리, 이화학, 관능적 특성을 측정하였다. 중온처리 직후 초기 호흡률은 처리구 모두 무처리구와 비교하여 다소 높았으나, 저장중 처리구 감귤의 호흡률은 감소하여 21일째는 무처리구와 동일한 수준을 나타내었다. 과실내 기체조성은 저장기간 및 처리구간에 차이를 보이지 않았으나 21일부터는 저장온도 전환에 따라 $CO_2$가 다소 증가하는 양상을 보였다. 과실의 pH, 산도, 경도는 중온처리에 따른 유의적 차이를 구분할 수 없었으나, 고형분 함량과 생체 중량감소율은 열풍처리구에서 다소 높게 유지되었다. 과피 표면색 역시 열풍처리구 (45-8h)가 다른 것에 비해 저장중 짙게 나타났으나 열수처리구에서는 가시적 변화를 발견할 수 없었다. 한편 부패과 발생률에 있어서 열수처리구가 축부병 등에 의한 짓무름 현상 및 곰팡이 발생정도를 가장 낮게 나타내었고, 관능검사에서도 열수처리구가 변색, 시듦, 광택 등의 외관 품질항목에서 유의적으로 우수하게 평가되었다. 결과적으로 중온 열수처리는 부지화 김귤의 수확후 저장유통중 부패과 발생률을 감소시키고 외관품질을 유지하는데 효과적인 전처리방법임을 확인할 수 있었다. 있었다.

  • The purpose of this study is to suggest strategies for vitalizing Jeju citrus export-specialized organization. To achieve the goal, the research has been focused on the establishment and standardization for fruit production practices that can keep a steady supply of high quality citrus fruit for export market, and followed by systematization of farms using the practices. According to the research findings, it is desirable that the high quality fruit production manual such as the Global GAP must be established, developed and prepared to train farm households. The establishment of the high quality fruit production manual is focused on the items as follows : 1) labor productivity enhancement by structural improvement of farm layout, 2) the practices for high-sugar-fruit production such as thinning out, irrigation and drainage system, and mulching with a poromeric sheet 3) productivity enhancement and quality improvement of fruit by cultivar improvement and virus-free nursery trees, 4) standardization of cultural practices throughout the citrus fruit production.

  • 과수를 심고 자연상태로 두면 햇빛의 투여량과 통풍이 불량해진다. 이렇게되면 수관 외부에만 과실이 달리게 되고, 가지의 생육도 약하게 되어 병충해의 발생이 많게 된다. 정지전경을 하는 가장 큰 이유는 과수의 생리상태를 조절하므로서 나무의 골격을 형성하고 나무의 생장과 결실의 균형을 유지시키므로서 수세의 안정을 얻고, 결실을 조정하며 과실의 질을 향상시키고 병해충의 발생억제와 여러가지의 작업능룰을 좋게하는데 있는 것이다.

Effects of Cluster and Flower Thinning on Yield and Fruit Quality in Highbush 'Jersey' Blueberry (적방.적화 처리가 하이부쉬 'Jersey' 블루베리 과실의 수량과 품질에 미치는 영향)

  • This research focused on determining the effectiveness of cluster and/or flower thinning in highbush 'Jersey' blueberry on the yield and fruit quality. The total yield and quality of fruit were compared between thinning methods of control (no thinning), 1/3 cluster thinning, 1/3 cluster thinning + 1/2 flower thinning, 2/3 cluster thinning, and 2/3 cluster thinning + 1/2 flower thinning per each bearing shoot, respectively. Thinning strength significantly affected the yield of bearing shoot and, thus, total yield of control and 1/3 cluster thinning was higher than others. Both cluster and flower thinning, however, significantly affected the fruit growth resulting in the increase of fruit weight, length and width. Even total yield was similar between control and 1/3 cluster thinning, more larger fruit (> 1.6 g) were produced by 1/3 cluster thinning treatment, indicating that flower and/or cluster thinning contributed to the increase of individual fruit growth. Unlike fruit growth, fruit quality was less affected except total soluble solid contents. Total soluble solid level significantly increased in treatments (2/3 cluster thinning, 2/3 cluster thinning + 1/2 flower thinning) with yield decrease. No significant difference in levels of acidity and firmness of fruit was found. Results indicated that fruit growth and total yield of highbush blueberry was more influenced by the thinning strength regardless of cluster or flower than internal quality of fruit such as solid and acid levels.

Effects of Paper Bag Coated Calcium on the Calcium Concentration, Lenticel Development, and Quality in 'Chuhwangbae' Pear Fruits (칼슘이 코팅된 봉지 괘대가 '추황배' 과실의 칼슘함량, 과점 발달 및 과실품질에 미치는 영향)

  • In a pear fruit 'Chuhwangbae' was investigated the effect of the calcium-coated double paper bag on the physical properties of the paper bag, micro meteorological phenomena, and calcium contents in quality of fruit. The calcium-coated paper bag, compared with official paper bags, did not give any effect on light transmission ratio and tensile strength. The change of the inside relative humidity of the paper bag was a little compared with conventional paper bags, but there was no difference in temperature. The contents of the accumulated calcium of the pericarp was remarkably greater than conventional paper bags during the period of 65 days to 160 days after the full bloom, but the flesh remarkably increased at 160 days. The calcium content per concentration of calcium coating greatly increased in 12% of yellow double paper bags and 9, 12% of newspaper double paper bags in case of the pericarp, and in 3% of yellow double paper bags and 6, 9, 12% of newspaper double paper bags in case of the pericarp. As a result of treatment of a radioactive isotope, the amount of accumulated calcium in the pericarp continued until 60 hours after treatment, but there was no difference in the calcium amount between the flesh and no-treatment pericarp. As to the hardness of fruits at the time of harvest, there was no difference in the concentration in case of a yellow double bags. But newspaper double paper bags 6, 12% was significantly difference. Soluble solid remarkably increased in yellow double paper bags 6, 9% and yellow double paper bags 3, 6, 9%. Also, it did not effect on changes of the pericarp, fruit weight and the color of the pericarp.

Influence of Time of Hand-thining on Bitter Pit Incidence and Fruit Quality in 'Gamhong'/M.9 Apple Trees (인력 적과 시기가 '감홍'/M.9 사과나무의 고두증상 발생과 과실품질에 미치는 영향)

  • This study was conducted to investigate the effect of time of hand-thinning on vegetative growth, bitter pit incidence, fruit quality, and return bloom in 'Gamhong'/M.9 apple trees. The time of hand-thinning were 3, 5, 7 and 9 weeks after full bloom, and the primary thinning (leaving only the king fruit on cluster) and secondary thinning (adjusting crop load) were conducted at the same time. The time of hand-thinning was correlated to the vegetative growth, average fruit wight, yield, soluble solids content, bitter pit incidence, and return bloom, negatively, and to the yield of middle grade fruits (fruit weight was 250-299g and none pit on fruit surface) per tree, calcium contents of leaves, and fruit red color, positively. There was no significant effect of time of hand-thinning on fruit firmness, titratable acidity, and total incomes per tree. In conclusion, if the time of hand-thinning of 'Gamhong'/M.9 apple tree was completed at 9 weeks after full bloom, it could produce about 300g of high-quality fruit without bitter pit.
