Temperature-Dependent Release of Drug from Copolymers of N-Isopropylacrylamide Containing Liposome (리포솜이 함유된 N-이소프로필아크릴아마이드의 공중합체로부터 온도에 따른 약물의 방출)

  • Thermosensitive poly(N-isopropylacrylamide) gels containing temperature-sensitive liposomes showing temperature-dependent sol-gel transition were prepared. The surface of temperature-sensitive liposome was modified with copolymers of N-isopropylacrylamide and octadecylacrylate, which exhibited a lower critical solution temperature at around 30 $^{\circ}C$ After mixing the modified temperature-sensitive liposomes with poly(N-isopropylacrylamide) solution, the temperature-sensitive 1iposomes formed physically cross-linked gels through heating the solution above their lower critical solution temperatures. The release of drug from temperature-sensitive liposomes was determined by measuring fluorescence intensity. The drug release from temperature-sensitive liposomes in poly(N-isopropylacrylamide) gel gradually showed sustained-release with increasing temperature.

  • Trickle bed를 이용하여 고분가 촉매에 의한 용존산소 제거반응을 수행하였다. 고분자 촉매는 폴리스티렌-디비닐 벤젠의 공중합체로 이루어진 담체를 제조하여 백금 용액을 함침시킨 후 수소로 환원하여 제조하였다. trickle bed는 수소 및 산소로 포화되어 있는 물을 향류식으로 접촉할 수 있도록 설계하였다. 이 경우는 액상 실험 장치와 달리 포화기가 없기 때문에 장치는 비교적 단순하였으나 컬럼내에 축적되는 액상의 축적이 중요한 운전변수로 나타났다. trickle bed에서의 용존산소 제거 거동을 semi-empirical relation으로 나타내어 실험치와 비교한 결과 예측된 모델과 매우 잘 일치하는 것으로 나타났다.

  • 본 발표에서는 고분자나 탄소나노튜브, 그래핀 등 탄소소재의 분자배열을 다양한 형태로 조절할 수있는 분자조립공정을 통해 비교적 저비용으로 대면적에서 나노구조체를 제작할 수 있는 다양한 기술들을 소개할 것이다. 특히 블록공중합체의 분자조립현상을 기존에 반도체나 디스플레이에 쓰이고 있는 ArF 리소그라피나 I-line 리소그라피와 융합하여 대면적에서 분자조립 나노패턴을 제작할 수 있는 기술들을 소개할 것이다. 또한 탄소나노튜브와 그래핀등 탄소소재를 용액공정이나 촉매나노패턴공정을 통해 3차원적인 다양한 형태로 조직화하는 신기술들도 소개할 것이다.

  • 1990년대 들어 여러 첨단 산업분야에서 나노기술의 급격한 부각과 함께 섬유분야에도 나노섬유기술에 대한 많은 관심이 모아지고 있다. 현재까지 나노섬유는 고분자용액 또는 용융체의 전하유도방사(electrospinning)에 의한 수 ~ 수백 nm의 electro-spun 나노섬유, 블록 공중합체 각 성분의 상분리 현상을 이용하여 형성된 나노섬유, 나노크기의 내경을 지닌 나노반응기에서 고분자의 중합과 동시에 배향되어 얻어지는 나노섬유, 또한, 서로 사용성이 없고 탄화정도가 크게 다른 두 고분자의 복합섬유를 제조하고 이를 탄화시켜 얻는 탄소나노섬유 yarn 등이 있다.   • Sulfonated polystyrene-divinylbenzene(PS-DVB) copolymer membranes were prepared using different diluents (toluene, cyclohexane, cyclohexanol), various diluent ratio and DVB contents. And initial fluxes of organic acids were investigated by varying pH and initial concentration. As a results, water content and ion-exchange capacity decreased with increasing DVB concetration. Among used diluents, cyclohexanol was the most efficient for building up the highest water content and ion-exchange capacity. In the experiment of permeation, carboxylic acid such as formic acid and acetic acid showed higher fluxes when pH was lower than pKa and amino add such as L-alanine showed minimum flux when pH was isoelectric value. The relationaship between initial fluxes and initial concentrations has been expressed by saturation kinetics.

  • Nanoparticles have been developed and applied for various applications to intelligently deliver bioactive materials. Herein, lactocin was processed into nanoparticles with methacrylic acid-methyl methacrylate copolymer (1:1) (eudragit L100). The eudragit polymer can protect lactocin from the stomach acid and release lactocin in the intestines. When acetone and pH 7 buffer solution were used as non-solvent and solvent, respectively, the smallest volume-average particle size (290 nm) could be obtained. Freeze drying in presence of carrageenan (dispersant) can process the particles into dried powders with minimum aggregation. SEM observation revealed the primary particles prepared based on lactocin and eudragit were of a few tens of nanometers.

  • Poly (vinyl chloride) was blended with blended with vinyl chloride-acrylonitrile copolymers (MO-01 : M$\sub$w/=199049, AN=22.79%, MO-02 : M$\sub$w/=238523, AN=47.03%, MO-03 : M$\sub$w/=289496, AN=52.49%, MO-04 : M$\sub$w/=341837, AN=58.68% by mixing dimethylformamide (DMF) solution of each polymer and their morphology, viscosity, viscoelastic and mechanical properties were studied. Blends of PVC and MO-01 showed a homogeneous morphology. On the contrary, the other copolymer blends showed a large phase separation with spherical domains. Miscibility of blends of PVC and MO-01 was shown to be better than that of blends of other copolymers from morphological and viscoelastic studies. Even though blends of PVC and MO-01 were observed to be the considerable compatibility at a composition of PVC/MO-01=90/10, the mechanical properties of blend films were not improved too much in most blend cases.

  • Durch Umsetzung an vernetzten p-lithiumstyrolhaltigen Copolymeren ist es nicht moglich, Austauscherharze mit Benzoylaceton-oder 8-Hydroxy-chinolingruppen mit praktisch brauchbarer Kapazitat herzustellen. Tetraphenylarsoniumchlorid-Gruppierungen enthaltende Austauscher mit einem Gehalt von etwa 1,3 mval/g an funktionellen Gruppen lassen sich aus vernetzten p-lithiumstyrolhaltigen Copolymeren und Triphenyl-arsinoxid herstellen. Aus einer Quecksilber(II)-chlorid-Losung nehmen in wassrigem Dioxan etwa 60% der im Harz befindlichen funktionellen Gruppen Quecksilberionen auf.

Synthesis and Properties of Polybenzoxazole Precursors having Oligo(oxy ethylene) pendant (Oligo(oxy ethylene) pendant를 갖는 PBO 전구체의 합성 및 특성)

  • Poly(o-hydroxyamides)(PHAs) copolymers having oligo(oxy ethylene) pendant in the main chain were synthesized by solution polycondensation reaction at low temperature. Copolymer precursors were studied by fourier transform infrared(FT-IR), differential scanning calorimeter(DSC), thermogravimetric analyzer(TGA), universal testing machine(UTM) and limited oxygen index(LOI). The inherent viscosities of the PHAs measured at $35^{\circ}C$ in DMAc or DMAc/LiCl solution were in the range of 0.74~1.42 dL/g. Solubility of the precursors with higher oligo(oxy ethylene) unit was increased, but the PBOs were nearly insoluble in a variety of solvents. The degradation temperature of the copolymer precursors was recorded in the ranges of $408{\sim}664^{\circ}C$ in nitrogen and char yields showed 13~59% values at $900^{\circ}C$. The mechanical properties and flame retardancy of copolymer precursors decreased with higher oligo(oxy ethylene) unit.

Preparation and Release Behavior of Methoxy poly(ethylene glycol)- poly(L-lactide-co-glycolide) Wafer Containing Albumin (알부민을 함유한 메톡시 폴리(에틸렌 글리콜)- 폴리(L-락타이드-co-글리콜라이드) 웨이퍼의 제조 및 방출거동)

  • A series of methoxy poly(ethylene glycol) (MPEG)-poly(L-lactide-co-glycolide) (PLGA) diblock copolymers were synthesized by ring-opening polymerization of L-lactide and glycolide with carbitol (134 g/mole) or different molecular weights of MPEG (550, 2000, and 5000 g/mole) as an initiator in presence of Sn(Oct)$_2$. The properties of diblock copolymers were characterized by using $^1$H-NMR, GPC, and XRD. After uniform mixing of block copolymers and 1% albumin bovine-fluorescein isothiocyanate(FITC-BSA) with a freeze miller, the wafers loaded FITC-BSA were fabricated by using a mold with a dimensions of 3 mm${\times}$1mm diameter. The release profiles of FITC-BSA and the pH changes of wafer were examined using pH 7.4 PBS for 30 days at 37$^{\circ}C$. The release profiles of albumin showed fast initial burst as the molecular weights of MPEG increased. As a result of this study, the release behavior of BSA was controlled with introducing MPEG in the block copolymers.
