This study analysed the effect of inheritance tax on households in reality and to improve it if there is an unreasonable aspect compared to countries around the world. The study conducted a one-on-one face-to-face survey on adults living in major cities across the country for 31 days from 1^st of September to 10^th of October, 2022. The collected data was analysed using SPSS 25.0 version and noted that 1) they preferred the abolition of inheritance tax, but hoped to improve it when maintaining it, 2) it was necessary to expand the deduction limit, abolish spouse deductions, and 3) prefer the inheritance acquisition tax system. Finally, it was found that they wanted to Extension of installment period of inheritance tax and introduce the tax deferred system.. This suggests that there is a perception that the overall revision of the inheritance tax system is necessary to maintain the inheritance tax. The significance of the study is to provide the basis for discussions on the improvement of the inheritance tax system in Korea, which does not reflect reality.

Purpose: To compare the standard deviation of gray levels on digital subtracted images obtained by different dental subtraction programs. Materials and Methods: Paired periapical films were taken at the lower premolar and molar areas of the phantoms involving human mandible. The bite registration group used Rinn XCP equipment and bite registration material, based on polyvinyl siloxane, for standardization. The no bite registration group used only Rinn XCP equipment. The periapical film images were digitized at 1200 dpi resolution and 256 gray levels by a flat bed scanner with transparency unit. Dental digital subtraction programs used for this study were Subtractor (Biomedisys Co., Korea) and Emago (Oral Diagnostic Systems, The Netherlands). To measure the similarities between the subtracted images, the standard deviations of the gray levels were obtained using a histogram of subtracted images, which were then analyzed statistically. Results: Subtracted images obtained by using the Emago program without manual selection of corresponding points showed the lowest standard deviation of gray levels (p<0.01). And the standard deviation of gray levels was lower in subtracted images in the group of a bite registration than in the group of no use of bite registration (p < 0.01). Conclusion: Digital radiographic subtraction without manual selection of reference points was found to be a convenient and superior method.

중소기업 가업 승계를 원활히 하기 위해 일정 요건을 갖춘 경우 상속.증여세를 감면하는 제도가 시급히 도입돼야 한다는 주장이 제기되고 있다. 이오 관련 정부에서도 중소기업의 가업승계를 원활히 할 수 있도록 세제를 개편할 움직임을 보이고 있다. 정부는 최근 이르면 내년부터 가업을 상속할 때 내는 상속세 공제한도를 '5억원 또는 상속 재산 대비 10% 이내' 로 확대하는 방안을 추진한다고 밝혔다. 김태년 의원 주최로 최근 국회에서 열린 중소기업 가업승계 지원을 위한 토론회에서 중소기업연구원 신상철 연구위원은 "상속세는 중소기업 활동에 지장을 초래하는 것을 최소화하는 방향으로 개선돼야 한다"고 말하고 "이 세제가 가업승계 저해요인이 돼선 곤란하다" 고 덧붙였다. 다음은 이날 토론회에서 신상철 박사가 발표한 내용을 요약한 것이다.

국토해양부는 지난 6월 17일 정부과천청사에서 제6차 건설산업 공생발전위원회를 개최하고 건설산업기본법을 위반한 건설업체에 대해 보다 명확한 기준으로 재제처분이 이뤄지도록 '건설업체 행정제재 합리화방안'을 제시했다. 또한 공제조합 보증금 개선방안도 제시됐다. 건설업체가 부도 파산 워크아웃 등으로 계약이행이나 하도급대금 지급에 어려움을 겪는 경우 하도급대금지급 보증금을 15일 내 지급 완료토록 개정키로 한 것이다. 이러한 개선은 대한설비건설협회가 건설산업 공생발전위원회를 통해 하도급대금 지급보증제도 개선을 촉구한 결과이다.

근로자들의 소득을 두고 흔히 '유리지갑'이라고 한다. 그만큼 근로자들의 소득은 그 흐름을 쉽게 알 수 있고 편한 과세대상이다. 회사가 급여를 지급할 때 근로자를 대신해 세금을 징수.납부하고 1년에 한 번씩 근로자의 1년 총소득(세법상 근로 소득으로 구분된 소득)에서 기초생활비에 해당하는 소득을 과세대상에서 제외시켜 과도하게 납부한 세금이 있을 경우 나라를 대신해 돌려주거나, 추가로 세금을 징수해 납부하기도 한다. 이런 절차를 근로소득세 연말정산이라고 한다. 사례를 통해 연말정산 때 혼동하기 쉬운 공제여부에 대해 알아보자.
