The Development of Industry Operation Control System using Intelligent Web Monitoring for the Heat Treatment Process (열처리공정의 지능형 웹 모니터링 산업용 공정제어 시스템 개발)

  • Because of advanced control technology, Shop floor control system of various kinds of equipment and machinery need a web based remote monitoring to control process efficiently. This paper presents the development of Operation Control System. Operation Control System(OCS) is based on intelligent web monitoring, so that OCS is improved the working condition for the line of heat treatment process and the product's quality. The developed OCS is consisted of Atmega128(MCU) based on embedded system, running the data logging of the line of heat treatment process. Web monitoring system is based on CS8900 ethernet controller and TCP/IP for remote monitoring responsibility between a server and clients and controlling the progress of entire system. The developed OCS is implemented on the line of heat treatment process and shows the improvement of environment condition, product's quality and efficiency of process line.

  • In order to prevent chemical accidents caused by human error, a chemical accident prevention and response training program using advanced technology was developed. After designing a virtual process based on the previously built pilot plant, chemical accident response contents were developed. A part of the pilot facility was remodeled for content realization and a remote control function was given. In addition, a DCS program that can control facilities in a virtual environment was developed, and chemical process operator training (OTS) that can finally respond to virtual chemical accidents was developed in conjunction with AR. Through this, trainees can build driving skills by directly operating the device, and by responding to virtual chemical accidents, they can develop emergency response capabilities. If the next-generation OTS like this study is widely distributed in the chemical industry, it is expected to greatly contribute to the prevention of chemical accidents caused by human error.

  • LPG 및 석유류는 온도에 따라서 유량의 변화가 LPG의 경우는 ±0.23%/℃, 무연은 ±0.11%/℃, 등유는 ±0.10%/℃, 경유의 경우는 ±0.09%/℃로 특히 LPG의 경우가 그 변화가 심하므로 정확한 충전량을 계량하는 것이 중요하다. 이는 공정거래 확립의 차원에서 공급자와 소비자 입장에서 반드시 요구되는 사항이다. 이를 위해 본 논문에서는 LPG 충전기의 충전제어 및 자동 온도 보정의 알고리즘을 개발하고 이를 프로그래밍한 후 온도센서와 16-bit 마이크로프로세서(intel 80C196)로 자동 온도 보정이 가능한 LPG 충전기의 충전제어 시스템을 설계 및 제작하였다. 설계 제작된 시스템은 프로세서부, I/O 입ㆍ출력부, VFD(vacuum fluorescent display) 디스플레이 구동부로 구성된다. 충전제어 동작은 LPG 유량계의 encoder로부터의 유량(유속)신호와 기차 보정값 및 15℃를 기준으로 한 온도 센서부의 온도 보정값을 입력받아 솔레노이드 밸브를 제어하여 충전을 제어하게 된다. 온도 보정은 80C196 프로세서의 내부 10-bit A/D 변환기를 사용하여 0.5℃ 분해능으로 온도제어를 할 수 있다. VFD 디스플레이는 유량, 금액, 단가가 표시되며 그 값을 누적시켜 일계, 월계를 알 수 있게 하였다. 그 외에 시스템 진단기능 및 컴퓨터통신, POS 통신이 가능하도록 하였다. 제작된 시스템을 LPG 충전기에 실장하여 시험한 결과 목표한 정확도로 유량이 제어됨을 알 수 있었다.

  • 폐 자동차에서 발생하는 폐차잔재물(Automobile shredder Residue)의 시멘트 열원 활용을 위하여 시멘트 킬른에서의 염소제어기술을 확립하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 본 연구에서는 ASR 발생공정에서 발생량이 가장 많은 light fluff 시료를 채취하였으며, 채취한 시료의 염소함량 분석 및 이를 토대로 하여 시멘트 킬른에서의 염소함량 순환거동을 예측하였다. 아울러 킬른내 염소제어설비의 안정적 가동을 위하여 기존 염소제어 시스템인 태평양 시멘트회사 시스템과 우베 시멘트회사 시스템의 장단점을 비교분석하여, 시멘트 킬른 내부에 함유되어있는 다량의 염소성분을 제어할 수 있는 기술개발 방향을 제시하고자 하였다.

  • A prototype of expert system which can support the operation for the municipal waste water treatment plant located at Kyoung-Ki Do, Kwang-ju Kun was developed and tested. This system provides (i) tracking the cause of the problem, (ii) analysis, and (iii) solution Knowledge-base consists of about 100 production-rules for the biological wastewater process, such as bio-reactor and final clarifier. Rules were obtained from the analysis of the problems such as sludge bulking. The system provides stable process control and management and effectively helps inexperienced operators with advanced and standard technologies. Future works will focus to develop a statistical process control model and associate with expert system. The control model can process the operation data statistically; analyze the relationship between affecting factors and control variables; and provide optimum operation parameters.

  • In this paper, in order to develop a remote progress management system through the Internet, we show a design method to make easy maintenance by developing the system with both the JAVA language and GoF Design Patterns. For the system implementation, we added the RS232C and RS422/RS485 communication modules to PLC(Programmable Logic Controller) in the control box which provide the real time status data of machines. Also we set up the RS232C to Ethernet converter based on wireless environment to communicate the PLC control data. We use JAVA Swing components to implement the multi-tier architecture system supported the GUI of the Applet and Frame at the same time so that the manager grasps the progress of work easily at the remote machines through the Internet. The key objective of the multi-tier architecture is to share resources among clients, this proposed system can help to develop the software to control the remote machine, and also it has the advantage that developer who wants to make a similar software can make easy to add new function reusing the existing codes.

  • Clients require easy to use of product and operating and industry safety according to the change of a market and a factory. For overcoming it, this paper developed controller of take-out robots that take high speed and superprecision and supplement a week point as use the system based on network. development controller classify teaching pendant and center server PC. Center server PC service the information about all process to supervisor. Teaching pendant is the bridge that service various faculties such as control, user recognition, metallic pattern operation to the user using injection molding. The controller development for taking out injection molded body classify software and hardware. The development of software is divided into three step which is application program, user interface and device driver. the simple device driver is not classified and included in application program. The hardware induce the touch panel and wireless network and construct the effective process control and internet connection. The inject ion cycle of existing system was five second but advanced system has the inner four cycle, process efficiency and product operation through wireless network.

  • The technological advances such as communication, sensor, and artificial intelligence lead smart factory construction. Smart factory aims at efficient process control by utilizing data from the existing automation process and intelligence technology such as machine learning. As a result of constructing smart factory, productivity increases, but costs increase. Therefore, small companies try to make a step-by-step transition from existing process to smart factory. In this paper, we have proposed a remote control system that support data collection, monitoring, and control for manufacturing equipment to support the construction of CNC cutting machine based small-scale smart factory. We have proposed the structure and design of the proposed system and efficient sensing data transmission scheme. To check the feasibility, the system was implemented for CNC cutting machine and functionality verification was performed. For performance evaluation, the web page access time was measured. The results means that the implemented system is available level.

  • 산업이 발달함에 따라 품질이 좋으면서 가격이 저렴한 철판에 대한 수요가 늘어나고 있다. 이러한 수요를 만족시키기 위해 제철소에서는 압연 시 발생하는 불량을 줄이기 위한 연구를 하고 있다. Flying Touch 기법은 열간 압연 시 발생하는 스크래치 불량을 줄이기 위한 방법이다. 본 논문에서는 Flying Touch 기법의 특징에 대하여 소개하고 Flying Touch 기법을 적용하여 실험할 수 있는 시뮬레이터의 설계와 제작에 대하여 간략하게 소개하였다. Flying Touch 기법은 아직 연구개발 단계의 방법이지만 제어 이론의 변화와 연구를 통해 더욱 개선될 수 있다.

  • MMS는 통신망으로 연결된 자동화기기와 컴퓨터 응용 프로그램간에 실시간 데이터와 감시제어정보를 교환하기 위한 국제표준의 메시지 교환 규약으로, MMS는 실행되는 응용기능의 종류나 기기의 개발자에 관계없이 표준적인 방법으로 정보를 교환하게 한다. MMS에서 제공되는 서비스들은 각종의 자동화기기와 응용 프로그램, 또한 여러 산업현장에서 필요로 하는 기능을 모두 만족하기에 충분하다. 그리고 MMS는 자동화된 생산공정을 구성하거나 사용하는데 필요한 경비를 줄여준다. MMS는 다양한 자동화 기기간의 통신을 하나의 통일된 규약과 방법론을 사용하여 이루고자 할 때 상호운용성(Interoperability), 독립성(Independence), 데이터접근(Data Access)성 등의 특징을 가장 잘 발휘할 수 있다.
