  • 운송(transportation) 문제는 잘 알려져 있는 최적화 문제로 공급자인 생산지에서 소비자인 대리점으로 물건을 최소의 비용으로 운송시키는 문제이다. Coopr는 쉽고도 강력한 언어로 최근 각광받고 있는 파이썬 언어로 구현되었으며 최적화 모델의 해를 구할 수 있는 공용 소프트웨어 패키지이다. 본 논문에서는 몇몇 생산지에서 여러 대리점으로 물건을 운송시키는 최적화 문제를 Coopr의 한 부분인 pyomo를 이용하여 모델을 개발하고 최적화 해를 구할 수 있는 방법을 소개 한다.

  • 기존의 제품 수명주기 관리 프로그램은 공급망 관리(SCM :Supply Chain Management)의 목적이 강해 그의 기능이 풍부한 반면 PLM적인 요소가 부족하다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 PLM을 구성하는 PDM, CPD, CNM, PPM 4가지 요소 중에 하나인 PDM(Product Data Management) 요소를 보강하기 위한 모듈을 개발하여 구현한다. PDM의 기능은 핵심적인 고객가치를 지원하기 위한 제품정보를 관리하는 영역으로 제품구조관리(BOM), 기술문서 관리, 설계변경 관리, 제품 기준정보 관리, Software 형상관리, 환경 유해 물질 관리, 공용화 기능을 포함하고 있는데, 그 중 제품구조관리(BOM)가 가장 중요한 부분이므로 이 부분에 대해 구현한다.

A Variable Parameter Model based on SSMS for an On-line Speech and Character Combined Recognition System (음성 문자 공용인식기를 위한 SSMS 기반 가변 파라미터 모델)

  • A SCCRS (Speech and Character Combined Recognition System) is developed for working on mobile devices such as PDA (Personal Digital Assistants). In SCCRS, the feature extraction is separately carried out for speech and for hand-written character, but the recognition is performed in a common engine. The recognition engine employs essentially CHMM (Continuous Hidden Markov Model), which consists of variable parameter topology in order to minimize the number of model parameters and to reduce recognition time. For generating contort independent variable parameter model, we propose the SSMS(Successive State and Mixture Splitting), which gives appropriate numbers of mixture and of states through splitting in mixture domain and in time domain. The recognition results show that the proposed SSMS method can reduce the total number of GOPDD (Gaussian Output Probability Density Distribution) up to 40.0% compared to the conventional method with fixed parameter model, at the same recognition performance in speech recognition system.

Implementation of High Quality Indexed Image utilizing Common Color Map(Codebook) (공용 컬러맵(코드북)을 이용한 고화질 인덱스 영상의 구현)

  • Image and it's processing techniques are widely applied and very important in the recent IT environment. In this paper, we try to reconstruct original BMP(Bitmap) image into indexed image and codebook utilizing vector quantization and represent high quality image only with same pixel depth of previous indexed image like JPEG etc. That is, By adopting common map method onto index image with $2^n$ color codebook, image can be represented as high quality as $2^{n+1}$ color codebook. When proposed output image is compared with original BMP image, it provides as much around 2dB as higher PSNR than conventional 8 bit index image(normal JPEG). Furthermore, this improvement(2 dB higher PSNR) could be provided when using the 9 bit indexed image.

  • In 1999, a residence stock amounts to 11 million units and apartment housing holds 57.6 percent of the residence stock. Without proper remodeling for apartment housing, a significant portion of them would be expected to be demolished shorter than their life-time due to socioeconomic reasons. Apartment housing is maintained depending on government regulations such as 'Housing Construction Promotion Code' and 'Apartment Housing Maintenance Ordinance'. However, there are many problems with implementation of them. In order to solve the problems, we focus on the remodeling system that includes Maintenance of Apartment Housing, Finance and Taxation, Special Repair Appropriation Budget, Resource Quality and Standard Plan, and Remodeling associated with the code. And this study, which being compared with the foreign remodeling system, presents the improvement scheme of system for apartment housing remodeling. This study aims to promote remodeling apartment housing and provide the suitable scheme for remodeling activities.

  • The existing domestic and foreign elderly nursing homes, with 50 beds or more, are selected and examined according to user interview, and document analysis to understand the facts about the elderly nursing homes. The location of domestic nursing homes is limited to the region of Seoul and Kyunggi province. The scope of research is focused on the plans, area compositions, equipments and relations with public spaces - wandering paths, bathrooms and toilets. The content of research, based on the collected data discribed above, includes the search for architectural idea and the examination of typological differences among plans. The research is performed as followes. 1) description of research objectives. 2) examination of problems associated with the elderly. 3) understanding of systems and plans of domestic and foreign nursing homes. 4) performance of case study, derivation of design criteria for architectural planning, and suggestion of several adjustable alternatives for public spaces.

  • Many university campus facilities are recently remodeled to provide the substantial learning rights of handicapped students to embody the dignity and value as man by many campus authorities. This study aims to identify the interior public spaces between entrances and class rooms for handicapped students of S and D campuses. The summaries of this research are as follows. $\bullet$Since S campus was built long years ago before the related law for the handicapped person enacted, it was thought that the campus master plan to consider handicapped students' activations must be established and the campus educational facilities was remodelled by campus master plan. $\bullet$Since D campus was built lately after the related law for them enacted, it was thought that the officer who is responsible for campus facilities for handicapped students put in order it by repair plan every year. By remodelling every year steadily according to each campus master plan, all handicapped students must be guaranteed the same learning rights as normal men to remove obstacles as the upper mentioned imperfections in using exterior campus facilities.

Improved Breast Irradiation Techniques Using Multistatic Fields or Three Dimensional Universal Compensators (Multistatic Field또는 3차원 공용보상체를 사용한 유방의 방사선 조사법의 평가)

  • Purpose : In order to improve dose homogeneity and to reduce acute toxicity in tangential whole breast radiotherapy, we evaluated two treatment techniques using multiple static fields or universal compensators. Materials and Methods : 1) Multistatic field technique : Using a three dimensional radiation treatment planning system, Adac Pinnacle 4.0, we accomplished a conventional wedged tangential plan. Examining the isodose distributions, a third field which blocked overdose regions was designed and an opposing field was created by using an automatic function of RTPS. Weighting of the beams was tuned until an ideal dose distribution was obtained. Another pair of beams were added when the dose homogeneity was not satisfactory. 2) Universal compensator technique : The breast shapes and sizes were obtained from the CT images of 20 patients who received whole breast radiation therapy at our institution. The data obtained were averaged and a pair of universal physical compensators were designed for the averaged data. DII (Dose Inhomogeneity Index : percentage volume of PTV outside $95\~105\%$ of the prescribed dose) $D_{max}$ (the maximum point dose in the PTV) and isodose distributions for each technique were compared. Results : The multistatic field technique was found to be superior to the conventional technique, reducing the mean value of DII by $14.6\%$ (p value<0.000) and the $D_{max}$ by $4.7\%$ (p value<0.000). The universal compensator was not significantly superior to the conventional technique since it decreased $D_{max}$ by $0.3\%$ (p value=0.867) and reduced DII by $3.7\%$ (p value=0.260). However, it decreased the value of DII by maximum $18\%$ when patients' breast shapes fitted in with the compensator geometry. Conclusion : The multistatic field technique is effective for improving dose homogeneity for whole breast radiation therapy and is applicable to all patients, whereas the use of universal compensators is effective only in patients whose breast shapes fit inwith the universal compensator geometry, and thus has limited applicability.

  • 본 논문은 IMT-2000 시스템 MAC 계층에서의 채널할당 운용에 관한 것이다. 기존의 2 세대 무선이동통신인 셀룰라나 PCS 에서는 주로 음성이 주요한 트래픽이었기 때문에 채널 할당에 관한 운용전략이 간단했다. 그러나 무선구간 데이터 트래픽의 급속한 증가는 IMT-2000 시스템의 등장을 가져왔고 이 시스템은 음성과 함께 데이터를 전송하기 때문에 2 세대보다 채널할당이 복잡할 수 밖에 없다. 데이터 트래적 중 web 트래픽이 주요한 부분이 될 것은 자명하다. 그래서 본 논문에서는 대상이 되는 트래픽을 web 트래픽으로 한정하고, web 트래픽을 크게 2 개의 class로 구분했다 : streaming & non-streaming 그리고 다시 각각의 class를 2개, 3개의 subclass(type)로 나눴다. 이 구분과 함에 IMT-2000 시스템의 멀티미디어 트래픽 모델링을 사용하여 시뮬레이션을 행했다. 시뮬레이션은 전용채널, 공용채널의 수, type 별 확률을 변화시키면서 여러 가지 상황을 고려해봤다.

  • 포장도로는 신설된 후 계속적인 차량의 통행과 기후 조건의 변화등으로 시 간이 경과함에 따라서 그 상태가 저하된다. 따라서 포장도로는 일정기간이 지난 후에는 쾌적한 차량의 통행을 보장하기 위하여 유지보수를 실시하여야 한다. 이러한 유지보수를 효율적이고 과학적으로 수행하는 것은 대단히 중요 하다. 미국과 같은 선진국의 경우 도로 신설의 투자비 보다 유지보수에 사용 되는 예산이 더 많아지고 있는데 효율적인 유지관리 시스템의 개발로 투자 비를 적정화하고자 하는 노력이 크게 증가되고 있다. 도로 포장 구조체가 도 로 이용자에게 어느 정도의 안전성, 쾌적성 및 신속성을 제공하고 있는가를 평가하는 것은 포장관리의 중요한 고려사항이며 그 결과는 포장의 공용성 개념으로 표현된다. 포장상태 조사시 포함되는 항목들은 포장유지관리 시스 템을 운용하는 기관마다 약간씩 차이는 있으나 대체로 노면조도, 노면장애, 구조적 능력, 미끄럼저항등이다. 이중 진동계측장비가 많이 사용되는 항목은 노면조도와 구조적 능력평가 부분으로서 이 두 항목에 포함되는 진동 계측 장비와 그 이용방법에 관해서 논하고자 한다.
