공연예술의 급속한 발전이 이루어지고 있으나 공연의 질, 연출 기법이나 공연에 필요한 시설에만 초점을 맞추고 있고 정작 공연장을 사용하는 배우와 관객들의 안전은 등한 시 되어 최근 수년간 공연장의 물리적 환경의 미비와 무대시설의 운영 미숙 등에 따른 각종 사고가 연이어 발생하고 있는 것이 국내 실정이다. 본 연구는 공연장 안전에 대한 국내 외 공연장 관련법규와 무대사고의 사례를 살펴보고 공연장의 무대 공간에 잠재해 있는 각종 위험 요소를 분석함으로서 공연장 사고예방을 위한 체계적 안전대책을 제시하는데 그 목적이 있다.

공연장의 무대기계설비 시스템 및 조명장비 시스템 설치 완료 후 각 시스템의 최종 검사에 적용되는 검사 기준과 검사 방법을 명시함으로써 효율적으로 최종 설비 상태를 점검하고, 발주처의 최종 검사에 효과적으로 대비할 수 있게 하고 안전사고를 미리 예방할 수 있게 하기 위하여 연구하였다.

Various kinds of performances and events have been held by local governments along with the worldwide popularity of K-pop, and there is a growing concern about possible accidents. Actually, a large-scale of accident took place during the MBC pop song concert in Sangju Sports Stadium in October 3, 2005. And another great safety accident occurred during an open event in the Lotte World in Seoul in March 26, 2006. The purpose of this study is to propose improvement of security company that carry out security activity through the analysis of the cases of accidents and common causes in the event sites. The improvement of safety management for large-scale event site by the study are as followings; First, institutional measures should be taken to extend the size of private security companies. Second, more education and training should be provided for security personnels who work for the event. Third, private security companies should prepare for the security measures more thoroughly in advance. Fourth, private security companies should make every possible effort to maintain order in the event site. Fifth, private security companies should bolster their collaboration with relevant organizations. Sixth, security companies should take actions to make themselves completely ready for any possible unexpected situations.

The purpose of this study is to suggest that performers in the performing arts actively utilize the loading dock and stage door when evacuating from the stage space of a performance hall in a crisis situation. Therefore, first, we analyzed the system related to the performance hall's safety. The stage evacuation type was classified into A, B, C, and D forms by applying the building law audience evacuation standards. Second, statistical data were organized based on measurement data, and the characteristics of each form were summarized. Third, the network reliability measurement method was borrowed to evaluate the evacuation safety of the evacuation route in the stage space. We confirmed quantitatively that the direction of the loading dock direction and stage door direction on the stage is advantageous for evacuation. In this study, it was possible to distinguish the advantage of evacuation according to the type of evacuation, (A(0.1274)>B(0.1228).>.C(0.0487)) with A being the most advantageous. These results can be expected to improve the evacuation safety of the stage, and furthermore, they are expected to be used as basic data for stage evacuation.

Currently, Korea shares culture, economy, and society together as a member of the international community along with rapid economic growth. In particular, in the 2000s, the construction of local cultural performance halls has been promoted through efforts and methods for the development of local culture. As a result, many local governments built medium-sized or larger performance halls, and achieved both quantitative and qualitative effects by satisfying citizens and attracting visitors. However, this study aims to analyze the safety of the space used by many visitors at the same time and whether an effective evacuation plan is applied to frequent disasters and disaster situations in recent years.

The purpose of this study is that there viewing at the future development direction and awareness of the cultural contents industry targeting college students for the activation of the domestic cultural content industry. Recent worldwide it has occurred 'Soft target' terror targeting unspecified civilian in the cultural space of theater and music venues, stadiums etc. But security and safety systems against terror in Korea are very deficient situation. US security market has increased sales significantly interest in increasing against crime and terrorism prevention and depending on the price cut and technology development. It is expected to require a security industry in a variety of applications to the cultural contents industry development about Korean pop music and theatrical performances, and internet and mobile games stc.

Citizens'income has been increased along with the trend of rapid changes in society, and the quality of their lives has been improved as well. As much as the degree of increase of quality of life, the number of spectators for performing art events, etc. who desire to fulfill their needs for enjoyment of varied cultural performances have been increasing, and also a large number of spectators enjoys a variety of festivals being held in each provincial area as well as international events: we still remember such frantic rooting shown by citizens during 2002 World Cup drawing attention and interest of entire nation. There are always risks of loss of human lives if accidents occur as there sult of close-packed crowd gathered at the same time. Therefore, it is required to prepare adequate security measures in order to prevent various accidents before hand. It is hoped that this research work would be of help for further efficient and systematic security management for the performing arts centers or public theaters encouraging the event organizer and the private security firm and the Korea Private Security Association to exert great effort and investments in further projects for development of security technology. Also, it is required to build a performance culture to consider audience's safety first from the beginning to the end of the event on the basis of efficient security management. Furthermore, spect at or sare required to recognize the fact that safety in the site for performing arts should be guaranteed for everyone's sake, and, to achieve this, they are obliged to be more cooperative with the event organizer and the private security firm, forming a trinity all together, in order not to have safety threatening situations in the site of performing arts events.
