개폐식 밸브를 이용한 공압실린더의 위치제어

  • The position control of a pneumatic cylinder suing low cost on-off valves is studied. The valve control band(VCB) was proposed toget fast response and toprevent solenoid valves from unnecessary switching at the beginning of response. A learning algorithm was used to compensate the nonlinearity and complexity in mathematical modelling of pheumatic on-off controlled positioning systems. In this algorithm, the desired performance index and modified learning rate, were proposed to improvespeed and convergence of learning control. It is shown experimentally that the proposed algorithm is robust to changes of system parameters: the setting time less than 1.0 sec and the error bound of .+-. 0.1 mm can be obtained. The effects of supply pressure, size of switching valves and the effect of multiple valves are discussed, and computer simulation onthe dynamic performances of the pneumatic system is also presented.

2 자유도 상추 수확 로봇 시스템 개발 (Development of a 2-DOF Robot System for Harvesting a Lettuce)

  • In Korea, researches for year-round leaf vegetables production system are in progress and the most of them are focused on environment control. Automation technologies for harvesting , transporting and grading need to be developed. This study was conducted to develop harvesting process automation system profitable to a competitive price. 1. Manipulator and end-effector are to be designed and fabricated , and fuzzy logic controller for controlling these are to be composed. 2. The entire system constructed is to be evaluated through a performance test. A robot system for harvesting a lettuce was developed. It was composed of a manipulator with 20DOF (degrees of freedom) an end-effector, a lettuce feeding conveyor , an air blower , a machine vision device, 6 photoelectric sensors and a fuzzy logic controller. A fuzzy logic control was applied to determined appropriate grip force on lettuce. Leaf area index and height index were used as input parameters, and voltage was used as output parameter for the fuzzy logic controller . Success rate of the lettuce harvesting system was 93.06% , and average harvesting time was about 5 seconds per lettuce.

  • In this study, an experiments and numerical simulation of a three chamber pneumatic cylinder for an intelligent AK-knee prosthesis is performed. The cylinder has a variable orifice which can be controlled automatically through a microprocessor controller as needed while amputee gaits. In the experiment, the cylinder was driven by a cam whose trajectory of simulates the normal gait and axial forces of cylinder with different of orifice opening was measured. The numerical simulations was based on thermodynamic and fluid mechanical consideration. The experimental results and the numerical results were in good agreement.

공압실린더의 누설유량 계측방법에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Measurement Method of Leakage Flow-rate for Pneumatic Cylinder)

  • In this study, a measurement method of leakage flow-rate for pneumatic driving apparatus is proposed. The existing measurement methods of leakage flow-rate of air need disassemble the test component. Therefore, there is no effective method to measure the leakage flow-rate while operating pneumatic driving apparatus. In this study, the leakage flow-rate is measure from the pressure change in an isothermal chamber that can realize isothermal conditions by stuffing steel wool into it. Therefore, wide range of flow-rate could be measured only from the pressure response and the leakage flow-rate can be measured during operating pneumatic driving apparatus. The effectiveness of the proposed method is proved by experimental results.

  • This paper deals with the issue of Neural Network-based control for a rodless pneumatic cylinder system which is utilized for a pneumatic XY-plotter. In order to identify the system design parameters, the open loop response of a pneumatic rodless cylinder controlled by a pneumatic servovalve is investigated by applying a self-excited oscillation method. Based on the system design parameters, the PD feedback compensator is designed and then Neural Network is incorporated with it. The experiment of a trajectory tracking control using a PD-NN has been performed and proved its excellent performance by comparing with that of a PD feedback compensator.

  • Pneumatic cylinders that are usually applied in the factory automation line have complicated failure cause because they are composed of various elements. In this study, we performed life test and performance test of double acting pneumatic cylinders according to the international standards and then analyzed the life and the main failure mode of the cylinders in the same load condition. On the basis of these processes, we can estimate shape parameter for the reliability estimation of pneumatic cylinders and their data analysis of life distribution.

  • Pneumatic control system has been applied to build many industrial automation systems. But most of them are sequence control type because of their low costs, safety, reliability, etc. Pneumatic servo system is rarely applied to real industrial fields because accurate position control is very difficult due to its nonlinearity and compressibility of air. In pneumatic servo control system, a pneumatic servo valve can be applied, But it is very expensive and has no advantage of low cost compared with a common pneumatic system. This paper is concerned with the accurate position control of a rodless pneumatic cylinder using on/off solenoid valve. A novel Intelligent Modified Pulse Width Modulation(MPWM) is newly proposed. The control performance of this pneumatic cylinder depends on the external loads. To overcome this problem, switching of control parameter using artificial neural network is newly proposed, which estimates external loads on rodless pneumatic cylinder using this training neural network. As an underlying controller, a state feedback controller using position, velocity and acceleration is applied in the switching control the system. The effectiveness of the proposed control algorithms are demonstrated through experiments nth various loads.

소방차량 정밀점검 분석에 따른 차종별 결함 발생에 관한 연구 (On the Occurrence of Defects by Vehicle Type According to the Fire-fighting Vehicle Detailed Inspection)

  • 연구목적: 본 연구는 일선 소방관서에 사용되고 있는 소방용 고가사다리차, 굴절사다리차, 화학차 및 펌프차의 최근 6년간의 정밀점검의 데이터를 기반으로 차종별로 시·도별 실시현황, 결함 발생률 및 연도별 결함 발생 사항 등을 파악하여 소방차량의 기술발전에 기여함을 목적으로 한다. 연구방법: 소방용의 고가사다리차, 굴절사다리차, 펌프차 및 화학차의 최근 6년간 정밀점검 기준에 따라 실시한 정밀점검 데이터를 통하여 차종별, 시·도별 실시현황 및 결함발생률, 연도별 결함사항을 분석하여 사용 연수에 따른 결함 발생 등의 현상을 분석하였다. 연구결과: 평균 230대 이상의 정밀점검 차량을 신청한 2012년에서 2017년도까지 시·도별 결과, 약간의 변동을 보여주기는 하지만 노후 소방차량 교체사업과 소방차량 제조업체의 대응 등으로 결함 발생 건수가 점차 감소 되는 결과를 보여주었다. 결론: 소방고가사다리차의 경우 결함발생율은 승강기장치, 전기장치, 사다리장치, 공압공급 장치의 순서로 결함의 발생률이 나타나는 것으로 파악되었으며, 소방굴절사다리차의 경우 굴절사다리, 유압실린더, 유압오일, 공압공급 장치의 순서로 결함의 발생률이 나타나는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 소방화학차의 경우는 분말소화장치, 소방펌프, 진공펌프, 공압공급 장치의 부분에서 결함이 발생되는 것을 확인할 수 있었으며, 소방펌프차의 경우는 물탱크, 소방펌프, 진공펌프 및 공압공급 장치의 부분에서 결함이 발생하는 것을 확인할 수 있었다.

  • In the pneumatic system, pneumatic cylinder is wildly used to factory automation. In general, Pneumatic cylinder problems are occured with colliding to stroke end part at which piston collide to end-cap, head cap and tube when piston is loading. This appearances have a short life of cylinder and is due to system destruction. This study examines the dynamic characteristics of pneumatic cushioning cylinder and cushion sleeve design. At head part cushion chamber for the vertical experimental, The decisions of cushioning effect and the results of the experimental research are obtained to the followings: i) The cushioning effects could acqure to the reserch, if the compressible energy is more than kinetic ones. ii) The collision of piston and head cover could acqure to the research, if the kinetic energy is more than compressible iii) If the load increase to the rolling car, the cushion region pressures would increase and the dynamic force.
