Stability of Tunnel under Shallow Overburden and Poor Rock Conditions Using Numerical Simulations (수치해석적 방법을 통한 저토피 및 암질불량구간의 터널 안정성 검토)

  • Tunneling is widely increased in rail-road construction due to the large portion of mountainous regions in Korea as well as the improving running performance of train. Tunneling under poor rock condition, shallow overburden, or existing fault zone has high risk for collapse. Therefore, this study presents the stability of tunnel under unfavorable geological conditions using finite element methods.

  • ESCO는 매우 특수한 제도이므로 팩토링 및 회계처리의 근거자료를 확보해 놓을 필요가 있다. 특히 관공서와 ESCO사업을 실시할 경우, 계약서에 에너지절약시설의 소유권 이전을 대금상환 완료시까지 회사에 유보하는 것을 명시하여 관공서 ESCO사업은 ''장기할부거래''로, 일반 ESCO사업은 ''일반원칙거래''로 개념을 정리, 회계에 적용해야 한다. 또한 ESCO사업을 ''용역거래''가 아닌 ''건설공사''로 인식하고 있는 세무공무원이 있다는 점을 감안, 회사매출액을 ''용역매출'' 또는 ''엔지니어링매출''로 표현하여 건설공사로 볼 소지를 차단해야 한다.

지구물리탐사로 고찰한 지반침하

  • 침하지반의 지하구조 해석을 위한 방법으로 전기비저항, 지하투과레이더, 굴절법 탄성파탐사를 실시하였다. 침하가 발생한 지점을 중심으로 조사를 실시하여 보강을 위한 경계를 설정하였으며 그라우팅 보강공사가 이후에 재차 시행되었다. 지반의 침하는 원지반 상부 연약지반에서 발생하였으며 침하량은 최대 50cm 정도이다. 침하의 원인은 해수 유입에 따근 지지력의 감소가 주된 원인으로 추정되며 보강공사 후 상부 연약지반의 전기비저항은 원지반과 거의 같은 크기를 보여준다.

  • 타워크레인은 빌딩, 아파트, 교하공간이 높은 교량, 플랜트 공사 등 고소작업이 이루어지는 공사에서 유익하게 사용되는·건설장비이다 타워크레인은 단면에 비하여 그 설치높이가 높아서 매우 세장한 구조물이며, 마스트 상부에 설치되어 있는 상부구조물(타워 해드, 지브, 카운터 지브, 카운터 웨이트, 기계장치 등)의 자중이 매우 크기 때문에 하중균형, 풍하중, 인양하중 등에 아주 민감한 강구조물이다. 따라서 이러한 타워크레인의 특성에 대한 이해의 부족과 안전한 작업방법의 불이행 등으로 인한 사고가 가끔 발생되고 있으며, 타워크레인의 사고는 곧바로 중대재해로 이어지고 있다.(중략)

감사원, 건설제도 개선방안 최종 확정

  • 감사원은 부실시공방지를 위해 건설제도 전반을 일대 혁신하는 총54개 사항의 건설제도 개선 방안을 최종 확정하고 재정경제원과 건설교통부등 관계부처에 통보했다. 앞으로 예정가격이 일정규모 이상인 낙찰자 선정방법이 가격경쟁에서 기술경쟁방식으로 개선되고, 공동도급으로 발주되는 공사의 입찰참가자격이 제한군 입찰대상업자만 입찰할 수 있도록 바뀐다. 또 감사원은 입찰 보증제도에서 일괄입찰보증하는 경우 매 공사별 입찰보증금 납부를 면제하도록 하고, 각종 보증 수수료를 건설업자의 성실도에 따라 차등 징수하도록 했다.

  • When increasing quantity of construction wastes, how to deal with construction wastes and environmental problems relating to disposal of construction wastes are discussed as social issues, treatment of construction waste and subsidiary issues are raised as important problems. The demolition work produce construction wastes most in construction industry. Various researches on eco-friendly treatment of construction wastes, recycling rates and recycled materials were conducted aspect of sustainability in developed countries, however, domestic remodeling projects were performed demolition work with first-demolition and second-classification method which emphasize productivity focused on efficiency. It caused not only environmental problems, but also economical problems such as increasing disposal cost of construction wastes. Solving these problems, the previous study, suggested the process model of eco-friendly demolition work to recycle materials. This paper applied eco-friendly remodeling process to practical projects and economic feasibility on eco-friendly remodeling process. Moreover these results expect to contribute the revitalization of eco-friendly demolition work in remodeling projects.

  • Recently, the quantity of risk in construction project has been inflated due to the fact that current construction projects have been large and complicated. Therefore, a study on the risk management methods is necessary that can predict and respond to the need in complicated modern construction projects. In this study, the objective is to analyze the cause of accident in actual construction sites and develop a risk assessment model based on insurance claims records. To reach the goal of this study, first, the frequency and severity of accidents are analyzed the causes of accidents based on the classification; progress rate, season, and total construction costs. Second, a risk assessment model is developed by utilizing a multiple regression analysis. The dependent variable is loss ratio of material damage and three categories; natural hazards, geographic information, and construction method & ability, are used as the independent variables. The model's adjusted R-square is 0.455. The contributions of this study will be used as a material for a quantitative risk analysis model development and review of the construction risk factors for future study.

A Study on the Realization of Dust Damage Compensation Calculation for the Prevention of Dust Damage in Construction Site (공사장 먼지피해 예방을 위한 먼지피해 배상액 산정 현실화 방안 연구)

  • Purpose: Even if a damage is applied to the dust of the construction site containing the first-class carcinogen, it is dismissed or 5~30% of the amount of noise damage compensation is paid., Because of such loopholes, some construction companies are neglecting the dust management of the construction site, and the damage of the workers and the residents in the construction site continues. Method: The purpose of this study is to examine the problems of the calculation criteria of damage compensation amount of construction site dust, the measurement of dust concentration, the analysis of measurement data (the data of electric signboard measuring device by the mining scattering method), the prediction and evaluation methods such as modeling, and to suggest improvement measures. Result: It is found that it is impossible to calculate the amount of damages from dust damage in the construction site by calculating the current dust damage compensation amount and dust concentration modeling and measurement. Conclusion: It will receive an application for compensation for damage within the site where damage is expected (about 100m in the straight line and the boundary line of the site), and present a method of calculating the amount of compensation that differentially evaluates dust damage to the degree of dust management and compliance with dust-related legal standards.

CASH FLOW FORECASTING IN CONSTRUCTION PROJECT (건설공사에서의 현금흐름 예측)

  • This research introduces the development of a project-level cash flow forecasting model in construction stage based on the planned earned value and the cost from a general contractors view on a jobsite. Most previous models have been developed to assist contractors in their pre-tendering or planning stage cash flow forecasts. The critical key to cash flow forecasting at the project level is how to build a cash-out model. The basic concept is to use moving weights of cost categories in a budget over project duration. The cost categories are classified to compile resources with almost the same time lags that are based on contracting payment conditions and credit times given by suppliers or venders. For cash-in, net planned monthly-earned values are simply transferred to the cash-in forecast, to be applied there with billing time and retention money. Validation of the model involves applying data from on-going 4 projects in progress for 12 months. Based on the results of the comparative analyses through the simulation of the proposed model and the existing models, the proposed model is more accurate, flexible and simpler than traditional models to the employee of construction jobsite who is not oriented financial knowledge.

  • When we consider the present state of construction delay claim analysis, the delay analysis methods generally used from the abroad construction industries are not applied to our industry. By reviewing the existing methods of delay analysis, this study investigated the important concepts and characteristics of the delay analysis methods. Selection of the delay analysis methods could be decided among 1)As-planned versus as-built comparison method,2)What-if method,3)But-for method.4)CPA method, and 5)DAMUDS method. In order to make clear the characteristics and mechanisms of the analysis methods, this study performed a case study.
