This study aims to identify job stress of firemen and the relations between their job stress, depression and fatigue, targeting firemen who are working for local fire stations. We interviewed the subjects using a short-answer type questionnaire or a online questionnaire. The data collected were analysed with a use of SPSS WIN 15.0 for confidence analysis, correlation analysis, step-by-step multi-regression analysis, and covariance structure analysis(CSA). This study result tasks and emotional stress had a direct effect on depression and fatigue. Therefore, this study suggests that governmental management should be provided for firemen that are classified as a high-risk group in occupational characteristics. Above all, the causes of stress should be diagnosed, its management goals should be set, and effective intervention programs should be provided.

This study is providing Modified DRASTIC Model to which lineament density and land use are added as additional factors using geographic infomation system(GIS). and then to evaluate groundwater contamination potential of Pyungtek-Gun area in Kyunggi-Do. In this study. the reason for using additional factors is because. in case of lineament density. when we consider that most of aquifer is bedrock aquifer in hydrogeologic environment of the Korea, lineament is very important to flow of groundwater and contamination material. and because land use can reflect indirectly impact of point or non_point source in study area. For statistical analysis. vector coverage per each factor is converted to grid layer and after each correlation coefficient between factors, covariance, variance. eigenvalue and eigenvector by principal component analysis of 3 direction. are calculated. correlation between factors is analyzed. Also after correlation coefficients between general DRASTIC layer and rated lineament density layer and between general DRASTIC layer and rated land use layer are calculated. final modified DRASTIC Model is constructed by using them with each weighting. when modified DRASTIC Model was compared with general DRASTIC Model, comtamination potential in modified DRASTIC Model is fairly detailed and consequently. vulnerable area which has high contamination potential could be presented concretly.

More flexible learning models are needed, and learning environments that operate through mobile technologies such as portable multimedia players(PMP) provide useful tools in implementing these learning models. The main attractant of PMP is often their versatility: being able to load and play different formats of video, audio, digital images, and interactive media. In this paper, we investigate the factors influencing the usage and acceptance of the PMP for study, based on the extended version of the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). Based on data collected from online survey, we show that perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, flow and perceived enjoyment are the major determinants for users to play PMP for study purpose. Factors, including ease of use, contents-credibility are shown to determine the level of perceived usefulness; additionally, perceived usefulness, ease of use and perceived enjoyment are shown to directly affect the level of flow. Based upon the statistical results, some useful guidelines for developing learning contents are also provided.
This paper presents an efficient image fusion method to be appropriate for the KOMPSAT-2 and 3 satellites. The proposed method is based on the well-established component substitution (CS) approach. The proposed method is divided into two parts: 1) The first step is to create a intensity image by the weighted-averaging operation of a multi-spectral (MS) image and 2) the second step is to produce an optimal high-frequency image using the statistical properties of the original MS and panchromatic (PAN) images. The performance of the proposed method is evaluated in both quantitative and visual analysis. Quantitative assessments are performed by using the relative global dimensional synthesis error (Spatial and Spectral ERGAS), the image quality index (Q4), and the spectral angle mapper index (SAM). The qualitative and quantitative assessment results show that the fusion performance of the proposed method is improved in both the spectral and spatial qualities when it is compared with previous CS-based fusion methods.
The last few years have been a boom time for the online gaming industry. Internet-based online games have made an increasingly popular form of entertainment. The gaming industry estimates that online gaming players reach over 26 million in 2002. The rapid development of online game-contents and related information technology shall increase the size of industry and have a profound impact on many ways of our living and sociaty. This paper develops the exploratory LISREL model for identifying the factors attecting the players' loyalty for some specific brand of online games. The concept of flow, word of mouth, feedback, challenge, social norms, and online community activities, etc, are all introduced into the model, as the independent variables affecting the loyalty directly and indirectly. Based on data collected from online questionnaire survey, the validity of the model has been tested and interesting conclusions have been developed concerning the relationships between the loyalty, flow, word of mouth and other set of independent vareables. It is hoped that this result might provide the useful guidelines for developing the successful online game contents.
This study examines how online community activity influences social capital and the moderating effect of personal characteristic between them. Hierarchical regression and two-way ANOVA analysis were conducted with 9,479 samples. The results show that online community activity positively associated with off-line social capital, and it is observed that the effect in older people is stronger than younger people. This study extends previous perspective on the online community activity toward social capital and empirically proves that the activity have also an impact on off-line social capital. The moderating effect of age implies that activation plans of community for older people are required in order to increase social capital.

In this study, we applied a hierarchial linear model to Anyang city data because students and their schools are hierarchial data structure. As a result, main factors which affect parents' satisfaction to school which their children go to are parents' satisfaction to Anyang city's education policies and areas which their schools located at. We suggest based on the analysis by this hierarchial linear model that if Anyang city make educational policies more efficient and effective in order for students to study in public school without private education and if Anyang city improve environment related with school like those of new cities, parents' satisfaction to school which their children go to will be increased.
Structural equation modeling (SEM) is a widely used in social sciences such as education, business administration, and psychology. In SEM, the latent variable score is the estimate of the latent variable which cannot be observed directly. This study uses stagewise structural equation modeling(stagewise SEM; SSEM) by partitioning the whole model into several stages. The traditional estimation method minimizes the discrepancy function using the variance-covariance of all observed variables. This method can lead to inappropriate situations where exogenous latent variables may be affected by endogenous latent variables. The SSEM approach can avoid such situations and reduce the complexity of the whole SEM in estimating parameters.
This study investigates the relevance of stress, self factor and emotional factor, and the influence on Smartphone Addiction Level among college students. The survey was administered to 261 college students in J city from December 16th to 23rd, 2016. The structured self-administered questionaries were used. The multiple linear regression analysis revealed that the factors with explanatory powers of 52% on Smartphone Addiction Level included physical activity changes, sleep disorders, the self control about self factors, the impulsion of emotional factors. With the analysis of covariance structure, we could confirm the relationship among the four factors such as stress, self factor, emotional factor and Smartphone Addiction Level. The results of the study indicate that the efforts to manage stress, self factors and emotional factors, are required to reduce the Smartphone Addiction Level of the college students. The results are expected to be useful for the development of programs and policy to decrease the Smartphone Addiction Level. In the following study, structural equation modeling about additional factors, which influences on Smartphone Addiction Level, will be needed.

On this study, a 50-years-old earth dam was measured by the static method of GPS for deformation monitoring. The reference network was measured by the vector between points in twice times and the monitored points were observed in four times at test field, i.e. an embankment which was restored by mortar, In addition, gross errors in the measurement were estimated and eliminated by data snooping method and random errors were adjusted by least square method. Finally, the amount of displacement was estimated from variance-covariance matrix. Also, precision of points were showed by the confidence ellipse(95%), and the amount of displacement was figured.
