  • Contemporary architecture calls for a wide range of surface textures and treatments. A surface compatible with the architect's design may vary from a glass-smooth finish to one requiring special sculptured ornamentation. These surfaces require many different types of form sheathing and lining. The purpose of study is development of new design form and made elaborateness shape.   • In these days, as building structures are getting taller, larger, and more diversified, structural systems with more economy and more efficiency are being required and so are more efficient building materials, this study conducted a basic experiment to conclude an adequate selection of materials and to calculate an optimal mixing proportion of those materials to produce High-strength concrete in a 100MPa of specified concrete strength. And also we conducted an experiment to find out basic properties of this concrete such as slump-flow, strength.

  • An abrupt high pollution loads in combined sewer systems is believed to be caused by first flushing actions and the resuspension of sediments deposited in sewers. Therefore, pollution loads in each flow regulator have a different tendency. This systems control intercepting flow in each flow regulator using water quality and water level. A desired quantity of intercepting flow was adjusted and the necessary slide position for a constant intercepting is calculated by Optimization programming. This systems make it possible to reduce pollution loads caused by CSOs to water body, may be alternative for the stable operation of STP through improving water quality to STP.

A study on Sintering Characteristics of Commercial 7xxx Series Al Alloy Powders (상용 7xxx Series Al 합금계 혼합분말의 소결 특성)

  • The sintering characteristics of commercial 7xxx series Al-Zn-Mg-Cu alloy have been investigated. Sintering system of this blended elemental powder has aspects of both transient and supersolidus liquid phase sintering. Transient liquids occur when the constitution point during sintering lies in a solid phase region but where the sintering temperature is greater than either the melting point of one of the constituent or a eutectic temperature. Supersolidus liquid phase sintering occurs when a preblended powder is heated to a temperature between the solidus and liquids. However, these reaction were restrained their inter diffusion due to the appearance of the oxide film. Thus, 7xxx series Al alloy is extremely sensitive to process variables, including particle size, holding time and sintering temperature. Therefore, above phenomenons were observed formation and behaviour of the liquid by using SEM and DSC.
