  • Impeller blades in the centrifugal compressor are subjected to static loads due to the high-speed rotation and steady aerodynamic forces. At the same time, aerodynamic excitations by the interaction between the impeller and the diffuser vanes(DV) periodically excite the impeller blades in resonant conditions, which may lead to high cycle fatigue (HCF) and eventually result in failure of the blades. In order to predict the structural response accurately, the aerodynamic excitation and the major resonant conditions were predicted by performing the unsteady flow analysis and modal analysis using ANSYS. Next, a unidirectional forced vibration analysis was performed by using fluid-structure interaction (FSI) method, and the safety of HCF was evaluated based on the results.

단위노동비용(單位勞動費用)과 물가(物價)

  • 본고(本稿)에서는 원화표시수입물가지수(貨表示輸入物價指數) 및 단위노동비용(單位勞動費用) 등의 비용요인(費用要因)과 GNP디플레이터로 표시한 물가(物價)와의 관계를 공적분검증방법(共積分檢證方法)으로 살펴보았는데 단위노동비용(單位勞動費用)과 물가간(物價間)에는 유의한 장기적(長期的) 균형관계(均衡關係)가 존재하나 이 관계식(關係式)에 수입물가지수(輸入物價指數)를 추가하기는 곤란한 것으로 나타났으며 수입물가지수(輸入物價指數)와 물가간(物價間)에도 유의한 장기적(長期的) 균형관계(均衡關係)를 발견하지 못하였다. 이에 따라 공적분(共積分)과 오차수정모형(誤差修正模型)을 사용하여 단위노동비용(單位勞動費用)만으로 인플레식(式)을 추정(推定)한 결과 그 적합도가 뛰어난 것으로 나타났다. 추정결과(推定結果)에 의하면 단위노동비용상승(單位勞動費用上昇)의 물가(物價)에 대한 영향은 영구적이며 최조 2년반 동안에 최대로 나타날 뿐 아니라 과도조정(過度調整)(overshooting)현상(現象)이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이에 따라 비록 90년도의 임금인상(賃金引上)이 상당폭 둔화(鈍化)된다 하더라도 87년 하반기부터 시작된 단위노동비용급증(單位勞動費用急增)의 누적적 효과로 인하여 90년의 상당히 높은 인플레율은 불가피할 것으로 전망되었다. 마지막으로 이와 같은 물가상승압력(物價上昇壓力)을 완화하기 위해서 정책입안자(政策立案者)의 입장에서 본고(本稿)의 연구결과(硏究結果)에 대해 어떠한 해석이 가능한가를 논의하였는데, 정부(政府)의 정책입안자(政策立案者), 기업가(企業家) 및 근로자(勤勞者) 등 각(各) 경제주체(經濟主體)의 단합된 공동노력(共同努力)이 요구되는 것으로 지적되었다.

  • In a material, micro-cracks can be progressively occurred, propagated and finally lead to failure when it is subjected to cyclic or periodic loading less than its ultimate strength. This phenomenon, fatigue, is usually considered in a metal, alloy and structures under repeated loading conditions. In underground structures, a static creep behavior rather than a dynamic fatigue behavior is mostly considered. However, when compressed air is stored in a rock cavern, an inner pressure is periodically changed due to repeated in- and-out process of compressed air. Therefore mechanical properties of surrounding rock mass and an inner lining system under cyclic loading/unloading conditions should be investigated. In this study, considering an underground lined rock cavern for compressed air energy storage (CAES), the mechanical properties of a lining system, that is, concrete lining and plug under periodic loading/unloading conditions were characterized through cyclic bending tests and shear tests. From these tests, the stability of the plug was evaluated and the S-N line of the concrete lining was obtained.

Relationship between Hydrochemical Variation of Groundwater and Gas Tigtness in the Underground Oil Storage Caverns (지하원유비축기지 공동주변 지하수의 수질화학적 변화와 기밀성과의 관계)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of hydrochemical variation of groundwater on the gas tigtness in an unlined oil storage cavern. The groundwater chemistry is greatly influenced by the seawater mixing, the water curtain and the dissolution of grounting cements. The chemical composition of groundwater greatly varies ac-cording to both the location of monitoring wells and the sampling period. Most of groundwater shows alkaline pH and high electrical conductivity. The chemical types of groundwater show the dominant order as follows : Na-Cl type > Ca-Cl type > $Ca-HCO_3(CO_3)$ type. Thermodynamic equilibrium state between chemical composition of groundwater and major minerals indicates that carbonate minerals except clay minerals can be precipitated as a secondary mineral. It means that the secondary precipitates can not greatly exerts the clogging effect into fracture aperture in rock mass around oil storage cavern. The content of total organic carbon (TOC) shows a slightly increasing trend from initial stage to late stage. The $EpCO_2$ was computed so as to assess the gas contribution on the $CO_2$ in groundwater. The $EpCO_2$ of 0$\~$41.3 indicates that the contribution of oil gas on $CO_2$ pressure in groundwater system can be neglected.

  • The present study is to analyze an integral test, BETHSY test 6.9c, which represent loss of RURS accident under mid-loop operation. Both the pressurizer manway and the steam generator outlet plenum manway are opened as vent paths in order to prevent the system from pressurization by removing the steam generated in the core. The main purposes are to gain insights into the physical phenomena and identify sensitive parameters. Assessment of capability of CATHARE2 prediction can be established the effective recovery procedures using the code in an actual plant. Most of important physical phenomena in the experiment could be predicted by the CATHARE2 code. The peak pressure in the upper plenum is predicted higher than experimental value by 7 kPa since the differential pressure between the pressurizer and the surge line is overestimated. The timing of core uncovery is delayed by 500 seconds mainly due to discrepancy in the core void distribution. It is demonstrated that openings of the pressurizer manwey and the steam generator manway can prevent the core uncovery using only gravity feed injection. Although some disagreements are found in the detailed phenomena, the code prediction is considered reasonable for the overall system behaviors.

Estimation of the Characteristics of Delayed Failure and Long-term Strength of Granite by Brazilian Disc Test (압열인장시험을 이용한 화강암의 지연파괴특성 및 장기안정성 평가)

  • Long-term stability and delayed failure of granite were evaluated through the laboratory test based on Wilkins method and Brazilian disc test (BDT) which yields tensile strength, mode I fracture toughness and subcritical crack growth parameters. Then, the long-term strength of granite was estimated by using analytical models and long-term stability of compressed air-energy storage (CAES) pilot cavern pressurized up to 5 ~ 6 MPa was evaluated using numerical code, FRACOD with the determined subcritical crack growth parameters. The results of test and analyses showed that the subcritical crack growth index, n was determined as 29.39 and the inner pressure of 5 ~ 6 MPa had an insignificant effect on the long-term stability of pilot cavern. It was also found that the measurement and analysis of acoustic emission events can describe the accumulation of damage due to subcritical crack growth quantitatively. That is, AE monitoring can provide the current status of rock under loading if we make an identical installation condition in the field with that of the laboratory test.

A numerical Study for Improvement of Indoor Air Quality of Apartment House (공동주택 단지의 실내 공기질 향상을 위한 수치 해석적 연구)

  • This study has been made to execute a research in order to lead the improvement of indoor air quality, examining the indoor ventilation characteristics by using a numerical analysis method. To this end an extensive parametric investigation are made according to various external flow variables such as main wind direction and wind speed by season, building layout design, and location of ventilators, etc. in Daedeok Techno Valley, one of large-scaled apartment in Daejeon. It is observed there was a significant difference of main wind direction between summer and winter. The main wind direction in summer was a south wind, and on the contrary the direction in winter is northnorthwest, which is similar to the average main wind direction for 10 years. One of the important calculation results is that the change of wind direction causes a significant effect on the apartment ventilation by the change of pressure difference around each complex of apartment. In case of favorable area of ventilation, the indoor ventilation rate can meet 0.7 ACH from the standard value only with natural ventilation. On the contrary, in other area the value was much lower than the standard value. If the calculation result applies to the design of layout apartment or placement of ventilators, it will be greatly helpful to the energy saving because it can be parallel with the natural ventilation to help securing ventilation rate, not much depending on the mechanical ventilation.

a-SiGe:H 박막의 고상결정화에 따른 주요 결험 스핀밀도의 변화

  • 다결정 실리콘-게르마늄 (poly-SiGe)은 태양전지 개발에 있어서 중요한 물질이다. 우리는 소량의 Ge(x=0.05)으로부터 다량의 Ge(x=0.67)을 함유한 수소화된 비정질 실리콘-게르마늄 (a-SiGe:H) 박막의 고상결정화 과정을 ESR (electron spin resonance)방법으로 조사해보았다. 먼저 PECVD 방법으로 Corning 1737 glass 위에 a-Si1-xGex:H 박막을 증착시켰다. 증착가스는 SiH4, GeH4 가스를 썼으며, 기판온도는 20$0^{\circ}C$, r.f. 전력은 3W, 증착시 가스압력은 0.6 Torr 정도이었다. 증착된 a-SiGe:H 박막은 $600^{\circ}C$ N2 분위기에서 다시 가열되어 고상결정화 되었고, 결정화 정도는 XRD (111) peak의 세기로부터 구해졌다. ESR 측정은 상온 x-band 영역에서 수행되었다. 측정된 ESR스팩트럼은 두 개의 Gaussian 함수로써 Si dangling-bond와 Ge dangling-bond 신호로 분리되었다. 가열 초기의 a-SiGe:H 박막 결함들의 스핀밀도의 증가는 수소 이탈에 기인하고, 또 고상결정화 과정에서 결정화된 정도와 Ge-db 스핀밀도의 변화는 서로 깊은 상관관계가 있음을 알 수 있었다. 특히 Ge 함유량이 큰 박막 (x=0.21, 0.67)에서 뿐만 아니라 소량의 Ge이 함유된 박막(x=0.05)에서도 Ge dangling-bond가 Si dangliong-bond 보다 고상결정화 과정에서 더 중요한 역할을 한다는 것을 알수 있었다. 또한 초기 열처리시 Si-H, Ge-H 결합에서 H의 이탈로 인하여 나타나는 Si-dangling bond, Ge-dangling bond 스핀밀도의 최대 증가 시간은 x 값에 의존하였는데 이러한 결과는 x값에 의존하는 Si-H, Ge-H 해리에너리지로 설명되어 질 수 있다. 층의 두께가 500 미만인 커패시터의 경우에 TiN과 Si3N4 의 계면에서 형성되는 슬릿형 공동(slit-like void)에 의해 커패시터의 유전특성이 파괴된다는 사실을 알게 되었으며, 이러한 슬릿형 공동은 제조 공정 중 재료에 따른 열팽창 계수와 탄성 계수 등의 차이에 의해 형성된 잔류응력 상태가 유전막을 기준으로 압축응력에서 인장 응력으로 바뀌는 분포에 기인하였다는 사실을 확인하였다.SiO2 막을 약화시켜 절연막의 두께가 두꺼워졌음에도 기존의 SiO2 절연막의 절연 파괴 전압 및 누설 전류오 비교되는 특성을 가졌다. 이중막을 구성하고 있는 안티퓨즈의 ON-저항이 단일막과 비교해 비슷한 것을 볼 수 잇는데, 그 이유는 TiO2에 포함된 Ti가 필라멘트에 포함되어 있어 필라멘트의 저항을 감소시켰기 때문으로 사료된다. 결국 이중막을 구성시 ON-저항 증가에 의한 속도 저하 요인은 없다고 할 수 있다. 5V의 절연파괴 시간을 측정한느 TDDB 테스트 결과 1.1$\times$103 year로 기대수치인 수십 년보다 높아 제안된 안티퓨즈의 신뢰성을 확보 할 수 있었다. 제안된 안티퓨즈의 이중 절연막의 두께는 250 이고 프로그래밍 전압은 9.0V이고, 약 65$\Omega$의 on 저항을 얻을수 있었다.보았다.다.다양한 기능을 가진 신소재 제조에 있다. 또한 경제적인 측면에서도 고부가 가치의 제품 개발에 따른 새로운 수요 창출과 수익률 향상, 기존의 기능성 안료를 나노(nano)화하여 나노 입자를 제조, 기존의 기능성 안료에 대한 비용 절감 효과등을 유도 할 수 있다. 역시 기술적인 측면에서도 특수소재 개발에 있어 최적의 나노 입자 제어기술 개발 및 나노입자를 기능성 소재로 사용하여 새로운 제품의 제조와 고압 기상 분사기술의 최적화에 의한 기능성 나노 입자 제조 기술을 확립하고 2차 오염 발생원인 유기계 항균제를 무기계 항균제로 대체할 수 있다. 이와 더불

Integration Application of Node-Link Data Using Open LR Method (Open LR 기법을 이용한 노드-링크 데이터의 통합활용 방안에 관한 연구)

  • This paper analyzes the range and attributes of the traffic information service between domestic public institutions and private companies, and suggests the possibility of joint application of node-link information for each company and the possibility of joint use of private traffic information. For this purpose, the present condition and attributes of domestic and foreign traffic information node-links (link length, node ID number, U-turn information, lane information, left turn information, right turn information, etc.) were analyzed. The analysis targets, the node-link of the national standard node and the two companies were analyzed. The area of the experiment was selected in Jongno-gu, Seoul, where standard-link information is complex, traffic volume is high, and various standard-links exist. The experiment was conducted by comparing and analyzing the traffic information attributes of three types of node-links and performing node-links overlapping matching (utilizing encoding_decoding method), and the possibility of matching node-links and attributes of different specifications was analyzed using Open LR technique.

Internal Components Arrangement of MR Damper Landing Gear for Cavitation Prevention (캐비테이션 방지를 위한 MR 댐퍼형 착륙장치의 내부 형상 배치에 대한 연구)

  • The landing gear of an aircraft is a device that absorbs and dissipates shock energy transmitted from the ground to the fuselage. Among the landing gears, the semi-active MR damper landing gear is supposed to show high-shock absorption efficiency under various landing conditions and secure the stability when out of control. In the case of the MR damper landing gear using an annular channel rather than orifice, Amesim, a commercial multi-physics program, is considered as more useful than the conventional two-degree-of-freedom model because the damping force generated by the pressure drop through the flow annular path can cause cavitation in the low-pressure chamber of the MR damper with a specific internal structure. In this paper, the main dynamic characteristics of the MR damper landing gear with an annular type flow path structure has been analyzed under the condition of cavitation. Based on the analysis results using Amesim, a design guideline for the MR damper flow path that prevents cavitation has been proposed based on the modification of the arrangement of internal components of the damper. The guideline was verified through a drop simulation.
