Numerical Simulations on Reduction of Toxic Gas Propagation at High-Rise Apartment Building Fires (계단형 공동주택 화재시 독성가스 전파 저감에 관한 수치해석적 연구)

  • 본 연구에서는 이전의 연구를 통해 계단형 공동주택 화재 시 재실자 피난특성 및 연기거동에 관한 연구를 실물실험을 통해 수행한 바 있으나 이때 야기된 문제점들을 적절한 방재설비를 도입함으로써 일부 해소하고자 하였다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 이전의 연구와 동일한 대상 건물과 조건에서 수치해석을 수행하며 특히 계단실에 방재설비(배연팬 등) 설치 유 무에 따른 독성가스의 전파 특성 및 최상층까지의 도달시간등을 비교 검토하였다. 계단형 공동주택에서 층간에 배연팬이 설치되어 작동되는 경우가 배연팬이 없는 경우보다 약 45%의 CO 방출량을 줄일 수 있을 것으로 판단되지만 1층 출입구를 통해 유입되는 공기량은 배연팬이 없는 경우가 배연팬이 설치되어 작동되는 경우보다 약 23% 크기 때문에 이로 인해 제연풍속의 증가를 가져올 수도 있을 것이다.

A Study on the Numerical Modeling Criteria for Underground Openings (지하공동굴착의 수치해석방법 적용기준 설정연구)

  • The puppose of this study is to propose the numerical modelling criteria for underground opening, rock mass continuum is regarded as homogeneous rock behaved linear elastic. The results of this study are summarized as follows: - Boundaries of the finite element mesh should be located at least 6 radii away from the center of the opening. - For circular openings, tension only developed when $K_0$ was less than one-fourAs the ratio of initial horiwntal to vertical stress increased, the inward springline movement increased and the inward crown movement decreased. - The displacement patterns developing for opening I shaped horse-shoe and opening II shaped powerstation are similar to those for circular openings. For both type opening I and opening II, stress concentrations develop at the intersection of the wall and floor. Greater stress concentrations are found for the type opening II.

  • 본 논문에서는 전기적으로 소형인 공동의 내부에 급전 및 무급전 포스트를 개구면과 평행으로 배치하고 무급전 포스트에 접속시킨 외부 리액턴스를 이용하여 공동을 강제적으로 공진시킬 수 있으며, 또한 개구면과 대향하고 있는 공동벽을 제거함으로써 안테나의 열 특성이 양호할 뿐만 아니라 안테나의 무게도 줄일 수 있는 소형의 공동 안테나를 제안하고 있다. 본 안테나는 마이크로파 회로부를 공동에 접한 측면부분에 장착시킬 수 있는 구조적 특징을 가지고 있다. 이론해석의 곁과. 개구면의 폭이 좁을수록 공동의 깊이를 얕게 할 수 있으므로 공동의 제적을 줄일 수 있다는 것을 확인하고 있다.

The Realities and Practices in the UK's Community Archives Movement (영국 공동체 아카이브 운동의 전개와 실천적 함의)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the present stage of community archives movement in the UK. By doing so, it draws some implications of the UK case for the community archives movement in Korea. The UK's 'Independent' community archives as a part of grassroots movement are characterized by participation, autonomy, and self-help of community members. Along with the appearance of the concept of 'community', the UK has experienced the revitalization period of community archives in the social context of community-based urban regeneration project. Recently, the UK's community archives have transformed themselves into building a 'governance model' relying on the partnership with mainstream archives. In particular, the UK model of community archives is based 'on their own ways' with their autonomy as a product of intrinsic development initiated by communities themselves. The character of the model of this type is very analogous to the nature of maul' community archives movement in Korea. Since the early 2000s, however, the UK model of community archives has been evolving into a way of building governance through their appropriation of the skills and methodologies from mainstream archives without endangering the autonomous essences of community archives themselves. We need to note the point of local researchers' view in archival science who have tried to seek out the methodology for building maul community archives with regard to openness and collaboration. In this respect, a shift in archival principle in the UK would give significant implications in regenerating the locally based community model.

Characteristics of Planting Design according to Parking Lots Type in Multi-family Housing Complex (공동주택단지의 주차장 유형에 따른 식재특성)

  • The number of registered vehicles increased to one million in 1985 and ten million in 1997, and the parking lots in multi-family housing complex that had been mainly constructed on the ground level began to be constructed in underground levels. Therefore, planting design in such complex were greatly changed. This study classifies the parking lots in multi-family housing complexes located in Cheongju into three categories: above-ground, mixture of above-ground and underground, and underground. The characteristics of planting design in each were then analyzed. The rate of parking per family increased by two or more in the type of mixture when compared to in the type of above-ground. As underground parking lots became dominant, the rate of parking per family increased to one car or more. The green area ratio did not change considerably when above-ground parking was combined with underground parking, but the green area per total floor space was reduced, which indicates the quality of green area became lower. Most of the parking lots in multi-family housing complexes since 2000 have been constructed underground, and the green area became larger. As for the species of trees used in planting design, trees that are vulnerable to damage by blight and harmful insects and may be repugnant have been reduced and replaced by trees whose shapes are beautiful and whose flowers and fruits can be appreciated, such as Chionanthus retusa, Malus floribunda, Styrax japonicus, Prunus mume, Lagerstroemia indica. Pine trees are variously planted with diversified standards, and, in particular, tall pine trees are being utilized as focal points. Herbaceous flowers began to be planted in underground parking lots constructed since 2000, and they are expected to be planted even more due to the appreciation of their flowers and their splendid appearance.

  • In this paper, a cylindrical cavity resonator oscillator with high Q factor is designed and fabricated to improve the phase noise characteristic. A cavity resonator is coupled to oscillating circuit using aperture hole. Measured results show that the cylindrical cavity resonator oscillator (CRO) for Ku-band has less phase noise than the dielectric resonator oscillator (DRO) with the same oscillating circuit. It has output power of +3.92 dBm at the center frequency 13.4015250 GHz and phase noise of -109 dBc/Hz at 100 kHz offset.

  • The Apartment resident's make-up of a family and residing preference are diversified by the change of lifestyle through the elevation of economy level and residing level. Accordingly, the remodeling and the early rebuilding for the satisfaction of a life cycle and a life style are increasing, and "Variability" that is the concept of Open Housing was emphasized as a central of residing plan in the apartment. Although apartments which select the space variability to the residing space are increasing gradually, the optimum composition structural system with space variability that satisfies the structure stability, the economical efficiency and the resident usability is not developed. The method of a study was progressed by a comparison and an analysis on each system with estimation elements through analyzing the development process and the special quality of existing composition structural system with space variability in the apartment. This paper offered the improvement direction on the current composition structural system with space variability for the development of modularizing system that is correct in domestic real condition.

  • 금융가격별 지표의 변동성 증가에 대처하려는 보수적 투자가들이 이용할 수 있는 매력적 방안의 하나가 보험부 투자기법이다. 그러나 이 투자유형은 설계에 상당한 신축성을 보이며 이는 동시에 투자성과 구조의 신축성으로 반영된다. 주요한 설계차원의 하나가 위험투자의 손실발생시 보상차원이다. 여기에 일반적 보험개념을 적용할 때 투자가가 직면하는 선택문제의 하나는 부분보험계약형 투자설계시 공제부보험형 전략과 공동보험형 전략간의 선택이다. 일반적 보험 이론에서는 전자가 후자에 대해 우월한 유형이라는 것이 밝혀져 있다. 본 연구는 이를 보험부투자에 응용할 때도 양 전략간에 어떠한 우월관계가 존재하는 지 알아보려 시도했다. 이를 위해 효율성 평가기준의 하나인 간편한 확률적 지배기준을 적용하였으며 분석결과는 생산적이었다. 두 전략 각각의 기대수익률의 확률분포를 대상으로 기대수익률이 상대적으로 공제부보험형 전략에서 공동보험형 전략에서보다 상대적으로 높거나 최소한 같은 경우에 전자가 후자를 지배하며 그 반대조건인 경우에는 양 전략간에 우열관계가 나타나지 않는다는 결과를 얻었다.

개량형 경수로 격납용기내 재장전수탱크의 수위계측기 선정

  • 기존 발전소의 재장전수탱크는 격납용기 외부에 설치되어 있으며, 압력/차압 계측기를 이용하여 재장전 수탱크 수위를 측정하고 있다. 한편, 개량형 경수로기 경우에는 재장전수탱크를 격납용기 하부에 설치하도록 되어 있으므로 격납용기 벽이나 수집체적조 및 원자로 공동과 인접하게 되어 수위감시를 위한 압력/차압 계측기를 격납용기내에 설치하는 것은 매우 어려울 것으로 판단된다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 격납용기내 재장전수탱크, 수집체적조 및 원자로 공동 수위계측기에 적용되는 미국 원자력규제위원회 및 전력연구소의 설계기준, 환경 및 기기생존 요건들을 검토한 후, 이에 따라 이 계측기들이 유지해야 할 설계 기능요건을 평가하고, 수위계측기의 형태 선정에 필요한 설계고려사항들을 파악하여 개량형 원자로의 해당 수위계측기의 선정 및 설계와 관련된 개념들을 설명하였다. 검토결과, 격납용기내 재장전수탱크 수위지시를 위해서는 압력/차압 계측기를 격납용기 외부에 설치하고, 수집체적조 및 원자로 공동의 수위감시를 위해서는 부유형 감지기를 사용하는 것이 발전소 운전 및 보수측면에서 장점이 있는 것으로 판단되어 이를 개량형 경수로 설계에 적용할 것을 제안하고자 한다.

The Analysis of Waste Factors for Business Phases on Customized Apartment Project (맞춤형 공동주택 프로젝트의 업무단계별 낭비요인 분석)

  • Recently, to reflect the various needs of customers in the apartment field, the customized apartment has emerged. From the point of the customer, customized apartments have the definite advantage of being able to guarantee more customer options. On the other hand, from the point of the project manager, there are significant risk factors, with increase of management factors, construction delays, etc. The reasons for this are, to date, the insufficient systematic analysis of the project, and the lack of experience of similar projects. This study provides the waste factors of each phase in a customized apartment project. A survey and interview are conducted to achieve the waste factors using MUDA methodology; a process of the project was analyzed; and a factor of each process was identified. Also, AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process) are used, to evaluate the waste factors in project stages. The AHP results show that "Design change" and "Inappropriate intervention in construction process" ranked highly in the waste factors. The results of our research will provide a countermeasure that addresses waste factors in similar projects, and contributes to reducing the extra cost and time in new projects.
