Influence of the Strategic Resources and Community Engineering on R&D Performance (전략적 자원과 공동체공학이 연구성과에 미치는 영향)

  • Korea is characterized by a high R&D expenditure rate to the GDP. The performance of R&D in Korea, however, hardly seems to be satisfied. The purpose of this study is to investigate the influence of strategic resources and community engineering on R&D performance in bio-tech industry in Korea. The results of the study show strategic resources and community engineering are determinants of technological outcome. The strategic resources have a Significant positive effect on economic impact whereas community engineering has no Significant effect. In addition, the study results reveal that there is no moderating effect of strategic resources on the relation between community engineering and R&D performance. The major limitations of the study are on the measure of the variables.

Dynamic Response of Underground Openings Considering the Effect of Water Saturation (지하수의 영향을 고려한 지하공동구조체의 동적응답)

  • Three-dimensional dynamic analysis of underground openings subjected to explosive loadings considering the effects of water saturation is carried out in this study. The surrounding rock mass is assumed to be the limestone with 13.5% of porosity. Two calculations are compared using as identical explosive charge; the first in dry rock of 13.5% porosity, the second in the identical rock, but in a fully saturated condition. It is shown that velocity, displacement, and stress time histories are higher in saturated rock than those in dry rock through numerical studies. It is also shown that underground openings in saturated rock masses could be significantly more vulnerable to the potential damages associated with shear failure than those in dry medium.

  • 소상공인은 2012년 현재 우리나라 전체 사업체 대비 87.8%를 차지하는 중요한 경제활동의 원동력이다. 그러나 대부분의 소상공인 창업은 소자본으로 창업 및 폐업을 지속적으로 거듭하고 있는 실정에 있으며 소규모 기업은 많은 사람들에게 직접적인 생계수단이기 때문에 우리나라 경제에서 큰 비중을 차지하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 소상공인들이 소상공인 공동협업체를 위한 제조사별 제품정보 공유기반 협업 서비스 설계하고 유용한 정보를 제공하는 시스템을 보급하고자 한다. 소상공인을 위한 소상공인 공동체 협업화를 위한 시스템을 구축하여 제공함으로써 소상공인들의 경쟁력 강화에 기여할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

A Structural Analysis of Underground Openings in Discontinuous Rock Masses (불연속면의 영향을 고려한 지하암반공동의 구조해석)

  • In order to predict properly the effects of ground motion associated with earthquakes on underground radioactive waste disposal facilities, an understanding of the structural behavior of an underground opening in discontinuous rock masses subjected to dynamic loadings is essential. This paper includes literature review on computational models for discontinuous rock masses and on mathematical models for the structural analysis of underground opening. Then, structural analyses of underground openings using the distinct element computer program written for the static and dynamic analysis of discontinuous rock masses have been performed.

화장실 양변기 배수 및 세정소음

  • 국내 화장실 양변기의 배수 및 세정소음에 관한 실험실 측정결과를 소개하고자 한다. 1989년 대한주택공사에서 조사한 설문조사에 의하면 공동주택에서 외부로부터 들리는 소음에 대한 불만을 조사한 결과, 바닥충격음, 급배수설비 소음, 그리고, 공기전달음의 순으로 나타났다. 이와 같이 급배수시 발생소음은 공동주택 입주자의 주요한 민원중의 하나이다. 급배수설비 소음은 유체의 유동에 의하여 발생하며, 직접 공기중을 전파하여 가는 “공기전달음”과 배관지지 재료 및 구조체 등을 통해 재차 공기중을 전파하여가는 “고체전달음” 으로 구분된다. 여기서 “공기전달음”이란 실내에서 발생한 소리가 구조체를 진동하고 구조체는 인접실의 구조체 주변의 공기를 진동하여 소리가 방사되거나 또는 인접실간에 열려 있는 통로를 거쳐 전달되는 소음을 말하고 “고체전달음”이란 음원이 접하고 있는 건물구조체를 통하여 진동의 형태로 전달되는 소음을 일컫는다. 공동주택에서 배수관은 아래층 천장배관에 해당되므로 배수관에서 발생하는 소음은 아래층으로 직접 전달된다. 이러한 배수설비 소음은 배관재의 종류, 배관스페이스의 구조 및 위치 등에 따라 소음레벨이 달라지게 된다.(중략)

Numerical Analysis of Cavity Characteristics and Thrust for Supercavitating Underwater Vehicle (초공동 수중운동체 주위 공동 특성과 추력 전산 해석)

  • Cavitation is used in various fields. This study examined the drag reduction of an underwater vehicle using cavitation. In this study, the natural partial cavitation analysis results were verified using CFD code with the Navier-Stokes equation based on a mixture model. The momentum and continuity equations in the mixture phase were separately solved in the liquid and vapor phases. The solver employs an implicit preconditioning algorithm in curvilinear coordinates. The results of a computational analysis showed good agreement with the experiment. A computational analysis was also performed on the supercavity. The study investigated the cavity characteristics and drag of an underwater vehicle and studied the speed required to achieve a supercavity. Finally, a 1DOF analysis was carried out to investigate the thrust system for a supercavity. As a result, one of the methods for determining a suitable thrust system for a supercavitating underwater vehicle was presented.

  • In the village, the community consciousness of members appears as a landscape characteristic according to the passage of time. In addition, when the landscape of the village is stabilized, the relationship between members is strengthened. Urban villages change and become outdated depending on social conditions. So, it investigates and analyzes the landscape data of the village and the status of the community. The Jeonju Hanok village, which is the subject of the study, was restored from an slum urban village through urban regeneration projects. The village is a tourist attraction with more than 10 million tourists. However, as the commerce in the village was strengthened, the function of the village was weakening. Also, the existing village landscape was changing for commercial purposes. The current village is in a situation where the restored landscape can be changed again. Therefore, efforts are needed to maintain the landscape of the village and restore its function. Jeonju Hanok village needed a member's perspective, not a resident's perspective. Lastly, the relationship between members can be strengthened only when the village landscape is stable.

A Measurement Method of Dielectric Properties of Dielectric Materials using $TE_{011}$ mode of Cylindrical Cavity Resonators (원통형 공동 공진기의 $TE_{011}$ 모드를 이용한 유전체의 전자기적 특성 측정 방법)

  • This paper describes measurement method of dielectric properties of dielectric materials using cylindrical cavity resonator's. Dielectric properties of concern here are relative permittivity, loss- tangent, quality factor and so on. An analysis of $TE_{011}$mode in dielectric properties of concentric dielectric-rod inserted cylindrical cavity resonator is presented. The frequency variation by the air gap at $TE_{011}$ mode turns out to be the least sensitive. A technique using a $TE_{011}$ mode of concentric dielectric-rod inserted cylindrical cavity resonator and an exact field representation of neo non-decaying mode are introduced for measurement of dielectric properties.
