  • 최근 빈번하게 발생되고 있는 가스사고는 많은 인명과 재산상의 손실을 초래하고 있다. 특히 도시 가스 보다는 공기보다 비중이 큰 LP가스에 의한 사고가 많이 발생된다. 특히 최근에 발생한 인천 부평구의 LP가스 폭발사고는 사망6명, 부상21명 등 총 27명의 인명피해와 주택 붕괴 등 많은 재산상의 손실을 초래하였다. 또한 LP가스 용기는 용기자체가 자해나 위해의 수단으로 이용되기도 한다. 이에 따라 정부에서는 1998년 1월 10일 고압가스안전관리법 시행규칙을 개정하여 LP가스용기에 부착되어 사용되는 밸브를 과류차단형으로 의무화하여 가스사고예방을 위해 힘쓰고 있다.(중략)

  • In this study, among in various scenarios of the duration degradation of the fuel cell, countermeasures for the cathode carbon carrier oxidation and the deactivation of catalyst by hydrogen / air interface formation have been studied. so the system was applied to the air cutoff valve. In terms of the component, the cold start performance, electrical stability, the airtight performance were mainly designed and their performance was confirmed. And in terms of the system, the air electrode flow is blocked off, so the oxygen concentration drops when system is powered off, As a result, By reducing unit cell voltage which affect the durability of the fuel cell reached up to 0.8V, the improved durability of the fuel cell was confirmed.

  • 최근 반도체 및 디스플레이 산업 등에서 초정밀 가공, 측정 등이 필요함에 따라, 외란과 내부 진동을 차단하는 방진 시스템에 대한 연구가 활성화 되고 있다. 기존에 소개된 여러 방진 시스템 중에서 가장 많이 연구되는 공기스프링은 압축 공기를 이용하여 큰 하중을 지지할 수 있으면서 상대적으로 낮은 강성으로 낮은 고유진동수를 유지할 수 있다. 본 연구는 기존의 레벨링밸브를 이용한 수동 방진 시스템을 분석하여 이를 개선하고 디스플레이장비용 능동 방진 시스템을 설계하였다. 공기의 비선형 특성에 기인하는 복잡한 비선형 시스템 제어에 PID 제어기 보다 유리한 퍼지 제어기를 설계하였고, 실험과 해석을 비교하였다.

Lightweight Design of a Main Starting Air Valve through FSI Analysis (구조연성해석을 통한 메인스타팅 에어밸브의 경량화설계)

  • The role of a main starting air valve is to supply compressed air to the diesel engine for starting the stopped diesel engine of a ship and cut off the air during normal operation. In this study, the main starting air valve with 80mm size was designed based on the developed valve with 50mm size. The concept design of the 80A main starting air valve was completed by using CATIA. Then, fluid analysis was performed to investigate the flow characteristics such as pressure and velocity distribution. Sequentially, structural analysis using FSI was performed. In this study, ANSYS CFX and ANSYS Workbench are utilized. The heavy weight of the body can deteriorate the strength performance of neighbor elements, leading to undesirable effect on flow characteristics. Thus, in this research, a lightweight design of the body was suggested satisfying strength requirement. The weight of the suggested design was reduced by 7kg, and the strength satisfied its requirement.

  • In recent days, vibration isolation system is mostly required in precise measurement and manufacturing system to reduce vibration due to external disturbances and internal actuators. Among all the vibration isolation systems, air spring is widely used because of its low resonant frequency and high damping ratio. In this study, we first analyze the passive air-spring system using leveling valve, and then design the active vibration isolation system. Because the non-linearity of pneumatic characteristics, we try to design the fuzzy controller which is better than PID controller at complex and non-linear system, and then compare them both in experiment and simulation.

  • To produce adequate electricity in nuclear and thermal power plants, an optimal amount of steam should be supplied to a generator connected to high- and low-pressure steam turbines. A turbine output control device, which is a special steam valve employed to supply or interrupt the steam to the turbine, is operated using a hydraulic servo actuator. In power plants, the performance of servo actuators is degraded by the air generated from the hydraulic system, or causes frequent failures owing to an increase in the wear of the seal. This is due to the seal being burnt as generated heat using the produced compressed air. Some power plants have exhausted air using a fixed orifice, and thus they encounter power loss due to mass flow exhaust. Failures are generated in hydraulic pumps, electric motors, and valves, which are frequently operated. In this study, we perform modeling and analysis of the load-sensing air-exhaust valves, which can be passed through very fine flow under normal use conditions, and exhaust mass flow air at the beginning stage as with existing fixed orifices. Then, we propose a method to prevent failures due to the compressed air, and to ensure the control accuracy of hydraulic servo actuators.

Study for Failure Examples of Solenoid Valve, Relay and Idle Speed Control Actuator in Liquid Petroleum Gas vehicle Engines (LPG 자동차 엔진의 솔레노이드밸브, 릴레이, 공회전조절장치의 고장사례 연구)

  • The purpose of this paper analyzes and studies to seek the failure examples of electronic control actuators for engine in liquified petroleum gas vehicle. The first, it was verified phenomenon for intial starting damage and no-acceleration of engine because of occasionally fuel feeding interception by clogged of emergency cutting solenoid valve filter. The second, the contact resistance produced in the connecting part of engine control relay because of no fully surface contacting by processes and assembly badness. It was displayed phenomenon of re-starting badness. The actuator that idle speed control system was sticked inside because of intake-air decreasing by carbon deposit. As a result, it was verified the phenomenon of disharmony that repeated up and down the engine revolution.

A Study on the Optimization of Ventilation Fan Position and Flow Rate for a Turbine Building of a Power Plant (화력발전소 터빈 본관의 환풍기 위치 및 용량 최적화에 관한 연구)

  • The existence of high temperature equipment such as steam pipe, deaerator, steam storage tanks and main steam stop valves makes relatively higher workplace temperature in a power plant of the turbine building. In order to cool down the air temperature in the turbine building, the outside air flow with lower temperature passes through the window and the hotter air in the building is extracted to the outside by installing the ventilation fan on the roof. Nevertheless, higher temperature regions near the high temperature equipment still exist in the turbine building and additional fans for the temperature reduction in the higher temperature region should be examined for the optimal location and mass flow rate. The purpose of the present study is to suggest the optimized location and capacity of the additional ventilation fans for a comfortable working environment. From the present study, it has been elucidated that the additional ventilation fans might be located near the high temperature deaerator and it could reduce the mean temperature in the turbine building by $3.0^{\circ}C$ and the temperature near the deaerator could be reduced by $4.2^{\circ}C$.

The Physical Properties of Port Type Crack Injection Method Using Latex Elastic Storage Tube (라텍스 탄성 저장관을 활용한 포트식 균열주입 공법의 물리적 특성에 관한 연구)

  • In this study, to solve the problems of the conventional crack repair and injection method, high elasticity latex was used as the material of the storage tube to withstand the high pressure in the center part differently from the general port. When the repair solution was injected into the crack part, The TPS method was developed so that the air existing in the TPS can be discharged. In addition, a new infusion port in which a valve blocking the backflow of the remediation solution was installed at the injection port was developed and the physical characteristics of the port were analyzed. As a result of the evaluation, it was found that the filling rate of the remedial solution was improved compared to the existing ordinary injector method, and the cracks were completely filled in the test conditions. Compressive strength and tensile strength after repair showed about 20% decrease after repair in case of using ordinary injector method, while TPS method showed about 2~7% increase after repair. The results of this study showed that the injection port method using the elastic storage tube increased the injection performance and the quality after repair compared to the conventional injector method. The result of this study is expected to be utilized as the basic data for application and commercialization of the result to the practical structure.
