A Study on User Experience Development Based on Emotion-Experience (감성-경험 기반의 사용자 경험 디자인 개발 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to maximize the development and utilization of digital innovation. First, analyzed the status of industrial development and digital innovation. Second, examined emotion and experience, looked into their types and properties. Third, attempted to develop a more creative and innovative user experience. The results of this study were presented as a theoretical basis, specification of research direction and research scope, and design analysis direction. It is expected to be used as a basic data that can help how to approach and interpret human emotions and behaviors in order to provide differentiated experiences by he essential concepts of emotions, experiences in various fields in the future.

  • 최근 제품이나 서비스를 기획할 때, 사용자 경험 (User Experience)의 측면에 대한 고려를 해야 한다는 이야기가 많아지고 있다. 이는 기능이나 성능을 결정할 때 기능 추가, 몇 %의 성능 상승같이 좁은 방법으로 제품이나 서비스의 기획의 방향을 결정하는 것이 아니라, 사용자가 그 기능이나 성능에서 대해서 어떻게 느끼고, 기능이나 성능을 통해서 어떤 경험을 했는지에 대한 전반적인 고려가 필요하다는 것을 여러 분야에서 공감하고 있다는 증거라 하겠다. 그러나 사용자 경험이라는 개념이 명확하게 정의되어 있지 않고, 그에 대한 실증적인 연구가 부족하여, 더 나은 사용자 경험을 제공하기 위해서 어떤 노력이 필요한지에 대해서 명확하고 쉽게 파악하기 어려운 실정이다. 기존의 HCI 분야에서는 제품이나 서비스를 평가할 때 사용성 (Usability)에 초점을 맞추어서 사용성 평가 (Usability Testing)를 통해서 정량적으로 문제점을 조사하는 방법론에 대한 연구가 많이 이루어졌다. 그러나 이러한 사용성 평가 는 사용자들의 과업 수행 시간, 과업 수행 여부 등 사용자들이 제품이나 서비스를 통해서 진행하는 결과에 대한 성능 (Performance)에 주목하고 있어서 전반적인 사용자 경험을 중요시하는 현재 HCI 가 가야 할 방향과 현업의 필요와는 부합하지 않는다고 할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 심층 인터뷰를 통해서 사용자에게 제품 경험에 있어서 중요한 요소를 찾아내고, 각 요소를 이용하여 제품에 대한 사용자의 전반적인 경험을 설문으로 물어본 후 구조방정식 모형분석을 통하여 각 경험 요소의 가중치를 도출하였다. 또한 이러한 가중치를 바탕으로 핸드폰, MP3 플레이어, LCD TV, 냉장고의 실제 제품 평가에 적용하여 사용자 경험을 바탕으로 한 제품 평가를 진행하였다. 또한 이러한 방법론을 한국뿐만 아니라 러시아, 독일, 인도의 사용자들에게도 같은 방식으로 진행하여 실증적으로 본 연구에서 개발된 방법론이 가능한지 여부를 확인하였다.

A Qualitative Study on Bibliotherapy Program for the Sons and Daughters of the Dysfunctional Family (역기능 가정 자녀를 위한 독서치료 프로그램에 대한 질적 분석)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the experience of dysfunctional family's sons and daughters in bibliotherapy program. To do this, this study collected its data through writings, speaking and term papers of 6 undergraduate students experiencing bibliotherapy program. The collected data were analyzed by phenomenological methods. As a result, the participants experienced 1) recognition of trauma and problems, 2) sympathy and identification, 3) self insight and self understanding, 4) expressing their will to recover trauma and finding solutions, 5) affirmative change, maturity and healing. And also they went through thinking and feeling dynamically in the bibliotherapy program. These results show that the bibliotherapy program helps dysfunctional family's sons and daughters solve their problems and trauma.

  • The purpose of this study is to find out what kind of media perception can be experienced by the audience when artificial intelligence technology meets art, where new technologies are invented one after another. Among the artificial intelligence works, I selected works that stand out in relation to perception and investigated what kind of media perception the audience experiences when artificial intelligence technology meets art. By examining the characteristics of machine hallucinations, uncanny, and artificial empathy with the media perception of artificial intelligence art, these perceptions were ultimately identified as aura perception within family resemblance. In the future, artificial intelligence technology will develop further and artists will not stop experimenting with them. It is expected that the works created by artists will expand the audience's perceptual experience while providing new experiences to the audience.

  • Why people share location context information? The purpose of our study is that why users share location context information and which factors is related to co-experiences in LBSNS. Through an exploratory approach, first, we conducted a qualitative study in order to understand experiences among people in LBSNS and analyzed according to Grounded Theory. As a result, we found concepts regarding co-experiences cooperatively and competitively in LBSNS. Second, the theoretical model of co-experience was constructed by mediating perceived empathy based on theoretical foundation. In this study, theoretically, we suggested exploratory research model of co-experiences in LBSNS. Practically, designers could adopt concepts in terms of competition and collaboration among users to build co-experience of LBSNS services as its guidelines.

  • Using a qualitative multimethod approach, this study was to discover integrated factors to construct a substantive theory about occupational socialization of librarians. Through theoretical sampling, 42 participants were in-deathly interviewed at three studies, i. e phenomenological, ethnographic, and grounded theory approach. These data were analyzed and finally integrated using grounded theory approach. Development of Design thinking-based AI education program (디자인 씽킹 기반 인공지능 교육 프로그램 개발)

  • In this study, the AI education program for elementary school students was developed and applied by introducing the design thinking process, which is attracting attention as a creative problem solving process. A design thinking-based AI education program was developed in the stages of Understanding AI, Identifying sympathetic problems, Problem definition, Ideate, Prototype, Test and sharing, and the development program was applied to elementary school students in 4th-6th grade. As a result of pre- and post-testing of students' computational thinking skills to confirm the effectiveness of the program, computational thinking skills increased by grade level, and students experienced a process of collaboration for creative problem solving based on insights gained from sympathetic problem finding. In addition, it was possible to get a glimpse of the attitude of using AI technology to solve problems, and it was confirmed that ideas were generated in the prototype stage and developed through communication between team members. Through this, the design thinking-based AI education program as one of the AI education for elementary school students guarantees the continuity of learning and confirms the possibility of providing an experience of the creative problem-solving process.

The Effect of Gratitude Enhancement Program for Freshmen on Pre-service Early Childhood Teacher's Gratitude Disposition, Empathic Ability, Department Satisfaction (신입생을 위한 감사증진 프로그램이 예비유아교사의 감사성향, 공감능력, 그리고 학과만족에 미치는 영향)

  • Objective: The purpose of this study was to find out the effect of gratitude enhancement program for freshman on pre-service early childhood teacher's gratitude disposition, empathic ability, and department satisfaction. Methods: 55 freshmen majoring in early childhood education were participated in this study. Twenty-eight of them were classified as an experimental group and made to go through gratitude enhancement program for freshman. Twenty-seven of them were classified as a control group. The gratitude enhancement program for freshman consisted of lectures on cognitive, affective and behavioral gratitude factors. To verify the effect of this program, the tests on gratitude disposition, empathic ability, and department satisfaction were carried out and the collected data were analyzed by ANCOVA. Results: The result of this study was that the gratitude enhancement program was effective for improving gratitude disposition, empathic ability, and department satisfaction of pre-service early childhood teachers. Conclusion/Implications: This study illustrated the need of gratitude enhancement program and its methodologies for pre-service early childhood teacher's college adjustment and persistence by improving gratitude disposition, empathic ability, and department satisfaction.

  • Adolescence is the important period of experiencing primary social relations through family relations. Adolescent of grandparent-grandchildren family who are provided social welfare service, however, causes many psychological and social problems on account of the negative family relationship, so it is needed resilience in order to recover from those circumstances through easing their negative family relations. This study set self esteem, empathy and internal·external locus control as parameters in order to know how negative family relations of grandparent-grandchildren family could influence the resilience of adolescent, then tried to reveal the entire and synthetic causal relationship in paths of them. For this, we analyzed 492 cases of grandparent-grandchildren family adolescent, which had negative family relations. In this process, we used Amos 19.0, analyzed interrelation and path, and examined significance of type and statistical significance in direct-indirect effect between paths. As the analysis result, we proposed that the development of social welfare program and use of it centered on self-esteem, empathy and internal-external control to the family relations of grandparent-grandchildren family adolescents was a practical approaching task of social welfare for them.
