Spatial distribution of chemical species in flame is a important indicator understanding the flame structure and combustion characteristics, and optical emission spectroscopy has been widely used for the measurement because of its simple and non-intrusive methodology. In this study, we suggest the feasibility of the measurement of chemical species (OH radical) distribution in rocket plume using optical emission spectrometer which was developed for the spatially resolved measurement along the line-of-sight. In order to predict the ground state concentration of species from the measured emission intensity by optical emission spectrometer, we consider thermal and chemical excitation mechanisms in flame, and assume thermodynamic equilibrium for the thermally excited species. We also present the spatial resolution and the correction of collection characteristics of the optical emission spectrometer depending on object distance.

This paper proposes a random sign reversal technique in space frequency block code for single carrier modulation. The traditional space time and frequency block coding technique may be confronted with radio environments openly, severe radio hijacking problems are to be overcome. In order to avoid such an open radio issue, random coded data protection technique for space-time block code was proposed, but this algorithm can change channel combination per an Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing block. This kind of slow switching increases the probability that nearby receivers will detect the transmitted data. This paper proposes a fast switching algorithm per data symbols' basis which is a random sign reversal technique in space frequency block code for Single Carrier Modulation. It is shown in simulation that the proposed one has a superior performance in comparison with the performance of the receiver which do not know the random timing sequence of sign reversal.

Image fusion techniques are widely used to integrate a lower spatial resolution multispectral image with a higher spatial resolution panchromatic image. However, the existing techniques either cannot avoid distorting the image spectral properties or involve complicated and time-consuming decomposition and reconstruction processing in the case of wavelet transform-based fusion. In this study a simple spectral preserve fusion technique: the Smoothing Filter-based Replacement(SFR) is proposed based on a simplified solar radiation and land surface reflection model. By using a ratio between a higher resolution image and its low pass filtered (with a smoothing filter) image, spatial details can be injected to a co-registered lower resolution multispectral image minimizing its spectral properties and contrast. The technique can be applied to improve spatial resolution for either colour composites or individual bands. The fidelity to spectral property and the spatial quality of SFM are convincingly demonstrated by an image fusion experiment using IKONOS panchromatic and multispectral images. The visual evaluation and statistical analysis compared with other image fusion techniques confirmed that SFR is a better fusion technique for preserving spectral information.

As demand for efficiency in handling dynamic XML data grows, new dynamic XML labeling schemes have been researched. The key idea of the dynamic XML labeling scheme is to find ancestor-descendent-sibling relationships and to minimize memory space to store total label, response time and range of relabeling incurred by update operations. The prime number labeling scheme is a representative scheme which supports dynamic XML documents. It determines the ancestor-descendant relationships between two elements by a simple divisibility test of labels. When a new element is inserted into the XML data using this scheme, it does not change the label values of existing nodes. However, since each prime number must be used exclusively, labels can become significantly large. Therefore, in this paper, we introduce a novel technique to effectively reduce the problem of label overflow. The suggested idea is based on tree decomposition. When label overflow occurs, the full tree is divided into several sub-trees, and nodes in each sub-tree are separately labeled. Through experiments, we show the effectiveness of our scheme.

This paper presents a facial animation method that enables the user to select a sequence of facial frames from the facial expression space, whose level of details the user can select hierarchically Our system creates the facial expression space from about 2400 captured facial frames. To represent the state of each expression, we use the distance matrix that represents the distance between pairs of feature points on the face. The shortest trajectories are found by dynamic programming. The space of facial expressions is multidimensional. To navigate this space, we visualize the space of expressions in 2D space by using the multidimensional scaling(MDS). But because there are too many facial expressions to select from, the user faces difficulty in navigating the space. So, we visualize the space hierarchically. To partition the space into a hierarchy of subspaces, we use fuzzy clustering. In the beginning, the system creates about 10 clusters from the space of 2400 facial expressions. Every tine the level increases, the system doubles the number of clusters. The cluster centers are displayed on 2D screen and are used as candidate key frames for key frame animation. The user selects new key frames along the navigation path of the previous level. At the maximum level, the user completes key frame specification. We let animators use the system to create example animations, and evaluate the system based on the results.

Soil erosion processes are affected by weather factors, such as rainfall, temperature, wind, and humidity. Among these factors, rainfall directly influences soil erosion by breaking away soil particles. The kinetic energy of rainfall and water flow caused by rain entrains and transports soil particles downstream. Therefore, in order to estimate soil erosion, it is important to accurately determine the rainfall erosivity factor(R) in RUSLE(Revised Universal Soil Loss Equation). The objective of this study is to evaluate the average annual R using 14 years(2002~2015) of 1 minute rainfall data from 55 KMA(Korea Meteorological Administration) weather stations. The R results from 1 min rainfall were compared with previous R studies using 1 h rainfall data. The determination coefficients($R^2$) between R calculated using 1 min rainfall data and annual rainfall were 0.70-0.98. The estimation of 30 min rainfall intensity from 1 min rainfall data showed better $R^2$ results than results from 1 h rainfall data. For estimation of physical spatial rain erosivity(R), distribution of annual rainfall was estimated by IDW(Inverse Distance Weights) interpolation, taking elevation into consideration. Because of the computation burden, the R calculation process was programmed using the python GUI(Graphical User Interface) tool.

충격파를 포함하는 초음속 유동을 해석하는 수치해법 중에서 많이 사용되어진 것은 엄밀 및 근사 리만 해법과 플럭스 분할 기법들로서 이들은 Euler 방정식에 기반을 두고 선형 또는 비선형파의 상호작용을 풍상 차분법으로 기술하는 방법들이다. 이러한 수치기법들은 과거 광범위하게 사용되어 왔으나 최근 여러 가지 단점이 발견되었다. 이와 같은 문제점을 극복하고자 입자의 통계적인 운동을 기술하는 기체 운동론에 근거하여 BGK 수치기법이 제시되었다. 이는 비충돌 볼츠만 방정식으로부터 입자의 수준에서 플럭스 분할 기법 형태의 풍상차분법을 구현하는 것으로 볼츠만 방정식의 충돌항을 BGK 모델로 대치하고 이것의 적분해로부터 수치 플럭스를 구한다. 이 수치기법은 기존의 리만해법에 비하여 수치적으로나 물리적으로 매우 타당한 성질인 강건성, 정확성, 엔트로피 조건, 양수보존성 등을 가지고 있음이 밝혀졌다. 이와 같은 수치기법을 사용하여 로켓 노즐 내의 아음속, 천이음속, 초음속에서의 유동장 해석을 위한 프로그램을 작성하였다. 시간 적분에 대하여는 정상 상태의 계산을 위하여 내재적 시간 적분 방법을 사용하였으며, 공간 이산화 방법으로는 임의의 제어체적에 대하여 적분형 보존 방정식을 적용하는 유한 체적법을 사용하였다. 초음속 입구 유동과 출구에서 초음속과 저음속 유동의 두가지 경우를 고려하여 얻은 결과를 기존의 연구 결과와 비교하여 본 결과 잘 일치하였다. 입구 유동이 저음속이고 출구 유동이 초음속인 경우에 대하여도 해석결과가 실험결과와 잘 일치하였다. 상대적으로 낮은 온도, 압력 조건과 높은 온도, 압력 조건을 가지는 고체 로켓 모터 노즐 내의 유동을 해석하였다. 이들 해석 결과를 전압, 전온도로 표준화시킨 결과 서로 일치하였으며, 파라서 저온, 저압에서 얻은 결과도 표준화시킬 경우, 고온, 고압에서도 사용될 수 있음을 알 수 있었다.의 영향에 초점을 맞추었다.다고 판단되며 배기 가스 자체에 대기 공기중에 함유되어 있던 습기가 얼어붙는(Icing화) 문제가 발생하기 때문에 배기가스의 Icing을 방지하기 위하여 압축기 끝단에서 공기를 추출하여 배기부분에 송출할 필요성이 있는 것으로 판단되었다. 출구가스의 기체 유동속도가 매우 빠르므로 (100-l10m.sec) 이를 완화하기 위한 디퓨저의 설계가 요구된다고 판단된다. 또 연소기 후방에 물을 주입하는 경우 열교환기 및 기타 부분품에 발생할 수 있는 부식 및 열교환 효율 저하도 간과할 수 없는 문제로 파악되었다. 이러한 기술적 문제가 적절히 해결되는 경우 비활성 가스 제너레이터는 민수용으로는 대형 빌딩, 산림, 유조선 등의 화재에 매우 적절히 사용되어 질 수 있을 뿐 아니라 군사적으로도 군사작전 중 및 공군 기지의 화재 그리고 지하벙커에 설치되어 있는 고급 첨단 군사 장비 등의 화재 뿐 아니라 대간첩작전 등에 효과적으로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.가 작으며, 본 연소관에 충전된 RDX/AP계 추진제의 경우 추진제의 습기투과에 의한 추진제 물성 변화는 미미한 것으로 나타났다.의 향상으로, 음성개선에 효과적이라고 사료되었으며, 이 방법이 편측 성대마비 환자의 효과적인 음성개선의 치료방법의 하나로 응용될 수 있으리라 생각된다..7%), 혈액투석, 식도부분절제술 및 위루술·위회장문합술을 시행한 경우가 각 1례(2.9%)씩이었다. 13) 심각한 합병증은 9례(26.5%)에서 보였는데 그중 식도협착증이 6례(17.6%), 급성신부전증 1례(2.9%), 종격동기흉과 폐염이 병발한 경우와 폐염이 각 1례(2.9%)였다. 14) 식도경 시행회수는 1회가 17례(54.8%), 2회가 9례(29.0%), 3회 이상이 5례(16.1%)였다.EX>$IC_{50}$/ 값이 210 $\mu\textrm{g}$<

기존의 객체 추출 및 추적 기법은 외형 변화가 없는 객체를 대상으로 하거나 배경이 고정된 영상만을 고려하였다 본 논문에서는 영역의 색상과 움직임 정보, 그리고 인접한 영역의 상관 관계를 고려한 Markov Random Field (MRF) 모델을 제안한다. MRF 모델은 영상의 시간적 공간적 상관성을 기반으로 최적의 레이블 셋을 계산함으로써 보다 정확하게 객체를 추출 및 추적할 수 있다. 또한, 블록 기반 움직임 추출 알고리즘인 Diamond Search (DS)를 분할된 영역에 적용하여 빠르게 영역의 움직임과 전역 움직임을 추정하였다. 실험 결과 제안한 방법이 객체의 외형 변화와 카메라 움직임이 있는 동영상에서 빠른 속도로 정확하게 객체를 추출 및 추적하는 것을 확인하였다.

본 논문에서는 웨이블릿 변환과 Direct LDA(DLDA)을 사용한 홍채 특징추출 방법을 제안한다. 이것은 획득한 홍채 영상으로부터 독특한 특징을 추출하기 위해 특별히 이차원 이산 웨이블릿 변환의 다중해상도 분해 방법을 사용하는 것이다 또한 홍채의 다양한 웨이블릿 성분으로부터 변별력을 가진 특징을 얻을 수 있도록 DLDA 기법을 적용하였다. 이러한 특징추출 방법은 이동이나 회전에 변하지 않는 알고리즘을 요구하는 홍채의 모양을 묘사하는데 적합하다. 홍채의 패턴정합을 위해서는 최근접 평균 분류기(Nearest Mean Classifier)를 사용하였다. 본 논문에서 인간의 홍채인식을 위해 제시한 방법이 홍채패턴을 표현하는 효과적인 방법이며, 시간 및 공간의 절약이라는 측면에서 유리하다는 것을 보여준다.

This study aims to select an optimal site for the development of small-scaled artificial ground water recharge system with the purpose of 50ton/day pumping in dry season. First of all, the topography shape satisfying the numerous factors of a hydraulic model experiment is defined and an appropriate pumping efficiency is calculated through the model experiment of injection and pumping scenario. In next step, GIS(Geographic Information System) database are constructed by processing several geospatial data to explore the optimal site. In detail, watershed images are generated from DEM(Digital Elevation Model) with 5m cell size, which is set for the minimum area of the optimal site selection. Slope maps are made from DEM to determine the optimal hydraulic gradient to procure the proper aquifer undercurrent period. Finally, the suitable site for artificial recharge system is selected using an integration of overall data, such as an alluvial map, DEM, orthoimages, slope map, and watershed images.
