Characteristic Analysis of Spacial Electric Field Distribution in Liquid Crystal of TFT-LCD Panel (3차원 유한요소법을 이용한 TFT-LCD 액정에서의 공간 전기장 분포 특성 분석)

  • In this paper, a three-dimensional finite element model based on the multi-pixel was constructed to accurately predict electric field distributions including an interference phenomenon between adjacent pixels in the liquid crystal of a complicated TFT-LCD panel. Utilizing the elaborate numerical model, the characteristics of spatial electric field distributions depending on various fault-electrode conditions are thoroughly examined on the basis of the field distribution of a normal electrode condition. The validity of the proposed model is proved by comparing the simulation results with those of the existing optical inspection equipments.

Mega project is one of most complicated project type as public and private sectors involve and the space will be construed in all directions i.e. horizontal, vertical, underground and ground. Therefore mega projects need a new program management information system to start the project's success. So this paper proposes a platform design study to intelligent program management information systems to mange mega projects.

To maintain these kind of infra-structures effectively, it is necessary for concerned workers to access easily to the existing drawings and design information. and to modify the design drawings immediately o the changes of design value. And in the field of construction, immediate structural analysis and generation of design drawings will help to promote manufacturing ability, the quality of products, and the effectiveness of maintenance of design materials effectively.

  • There are two methods to express natural phenomena using image processing techniques. One is the presentation of simulations for natural phenomena and the other is the display of images based on script. A lot of people used to get the display using vast data and complicated math formulas. When we get the output images in this way, we will have some problems in time and cost. In this paper, we use fluid images excluding using the complicated math formulas, programming, and taking pictures to present the natural phenomena. We construct the library to express the natural phenomena effectively using 2D images and simulation of fog for the background of oriental painting in 3D space.

  • GIS was introduced to spatial information of complex and various facility systematically and scientifically. And, recently, new trend has been spread by Mobile GIS owing to its fast development of information and communication technology. However, these Mobile GIS techniques were introduced in maintenances of various facilities. Due to its mismanagement, the use became insufficient in facilities causing database creation to require realism and mobility. Therefore, in this research to road facility of various facilities, it deduced improving the work process by using a Mobile GIS to analyze work process of the road facility database creation. And, through an experiment, by comparing and analyzing road facilities database creation process by existing method and improving method, could improvement of road facility database creation using a Mobile GIS.

Direction of Arrival Estimation under Aliasing Conditions (앨리아싱 조건에서의 광대역 음향신호의 방위각 추정)

  • It is difficult to detect and to track the moving targets like tanks and diesel vehicles due to the variety of terrain and moving of targets. It is possible to be happened the aliasing conditions as the difficulty of antenna deployment in the complex environment like the battle fields. In this paper, we study the problem of detecting and tracking of moving targets which are emitting wideband signals under severe spatial aliasing conditions because of the sparse arrays. We developed a direction of arrival(DOA) estimation algorithm based on subband MUSIC(Multiple Signal Classification) method which produces high-resolution estimation. In this algorithm, the true bearings are invariant regardless of changes of frequency bands while the aliased false bearings vary. As a result, the proposed algorithm overcomes the aliasing effects and improves the localization performance in sparse passive arrays.

  • A numerical analysis has been conducted on the interaction of the thermal radiation and natural convection in a rectangular enclosure filled with a gray fluid. P-1 approximation is adopted for the radiative transfer and its application limit is examined. Considered are the Stark number effect, the optical thickness effect and the wall emissivity effect on the flow and heat transfer characteristics. As the Stark number increase or the optical thickness decreases, the boundary layer thickness and the flow velocity increase. Transition to turbulence is retarded with the increase of the radiation effect. When the optical thickness is one, the radiation effect is negligible for the Stark numbers larger than 10.

  • 공중공간은 평면에 비해 넓고 많은 항공기들이 고속으로 비행하고 있다. 더불어 항공사고는 바로 대형사고로 이어지므로 공중상황 통제의 중요성은 항상 강조되고 있다. 그러나 항공기는 3차원 공간에서 복잡한 패턴으로 비행하기 때문에 통제하기가 매우 어렵다. 통제를 위한 공중상황 정보는 시각화 시스템을 통해 제공되고 있으나, 이를 운영하는 통제요원의 경험, 인지능력이 공중상황판단의 결정적 역할을 하고 있다. 그래서 정확한 상황판단을 위한 정보제공이 매우 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 공중상황에 대한 정확한 정보제공을 위해 비행경로를 이용한 시각화 기법을 제안한다. 대부분의 항공기는 정지하지 않고, 급격한 상태전이 없이 이동하므로 과거 비행자료를 통해 미래의 비행상태를 예측할 수 있다. 즉 과거 상태정보와 현재 상황정보를 통합하여 시각화하면 비행패턴을 예측할 수 있어 정확한 공중상황 판단이 가능하다. 이를 위해 실시간 자료를 분석하여 동적자료를 구분한다. 동적자료만으로 상태전이자료를 생성하고 비행경로 상에서 색상과 도형 및 기호화를 통해 시각화한다. 비행경로와 색상 및 기호화로 제공된 상태전이 시각화 정보는 항공기의 상승/하강, 가속/감속, 직진/선회, 기타 상태전이정보와 바람의 방향과 같은 공중 공간의 상황정보 둥을 제공할 것이다. 이를 통해 운용요원은 공중상황을 정확히 인식하고 신속하게 판다하여 통제함으로서 공중안전을 도모하고 통제업무를 효과적으로 수행할 수 있을 것이다.

  • In this paper, an eye tracking method is presented by using on iterated spatial moment adapting weighted gray level that can accurately detect and track user's eyes under the complicated background. The region of face is detected by using Haar-like feature before extracting region of eyes to minimize an region of interest from the input picture of CCD camera. And the region of eyes is detected by using eigeneye based on the eigenface of Principal component analysis. And then feature points of eyes are detected from darkest part in the region of eyes. The tracking of eyes is achieved correctly by using iterated spatial moment adapting weighted gray level.
