Development of One PC-Based the Haptic Interface and Tactile Apparatus System (단일 PC기반의 역감 및 촉감 제시 시스템 개발)

  • This paper proposes the electric stimulus tactile apparatus system(TESTAS) loaded on the haptic interface using ultrasonic motors (USMs) To touch the virtual object like wall in graphic, the 6 DOF haptic interface provides force feedback to users as if it is real. But the case of sharp virtual object like a puncture, it could not provided the sense of pain, but only the reaction-force. After the TESTAS had been loaded on this haptic interface, it could provide not only the force but also the pain to users. In this way, when users take the haptic and tactile informations at the same time, they easily have a correct understanding of virtual object.

Error Concealment Techniques for Visual Quality Improving (화질 향상을 위한 오류 은폐 기법)

  • The MPEG-2 video compressed bitstream is very sensitive to transmission errors due to the complex coding structure of the MPEG-2 video coding standard. If one packet is lost or received with errors, not only the current frame will be corrupted, but also errors will propagate to succeeding frames within a group of pictures. Therefore, we employ various error resilient coding/decoding techniques to protect and reduce the transmission error effects. Error concealment technique is one of them. Error concealment technique exploits spatial and temporal redundancies of the correctly received video data to conceal the corrupted video data. Motion vector recovery and compensation with the estimated motion vector is good approach to conceal the corrupted data. In this paper, we propose various error concealment algorithms based on motion vector recovery, and compare their performance to those of conventional error concealment methods.

  • 목적 : 기경팔맥의 임상활용을 위하여 기경팔맥의 개요와 기경팔맥을 이용한 침 치료법의 장점과 기존의 침 치료와의 차이점을 알아보고자 하였다. 방법 : 기경팔맥의 기원과 학문적 이론의 체계를 알아보기 위하여 한국학술정보(주)를 통해 검색한 국내 논문 9편을 참고하고, 기경팔맥을 이용한 치료법에 관한 국내외 서적 2편을 수집하였다. 또한 MedLine에서 기경팔맥을 이용한 치험례와 임상연구에 대해 영어로 작성된 논문 2편을 소개하였다. 결론 : 기경팔맥을 이용하면 정경 치료와 달리, 통증 등의 실체가 있는 질환에 대해 즉각적인 효과를 보이는 치료를 소수의 혈자리 자침으로써 간편하게 행할 수 있다. 또한 병증과 경락 유주 사이의 공간적 불일치가 있거나, 복잡한 정황으로 인해 사진(四診)을 통한 변증이 어려운 경우에 팔맥교회혈 또는 영구팔법 등의 기경팔맥을 이용한 치료를 사용할 수 있다.

Spatio-Temporal 3D Joint Noise Reduction Filter (시공간 3차원 결합 잡음제거 필터)

  • Noise in image sequences is visually offensive and may mask important image detail. In addition to degradation of visual quality, the noise pattern increases the entropy of the image, and thus hinders effective compression. This paper proposes a spatial and a temporal joint filters to reduce the noise by jointly connecting two adaptive noise reducers with different characteristics, and we also propose an IIR-type 3D noise reduction litter scheme connecting the spatial and the temporal joint filters. The proposed 3D IIR filter not only strongly removes noise in uniform image regions while preserving edges and details but also effectively suppresses temporal flicker caused by noise. Experimental results show that the proposed scheme improves subjective quality as well as objective quality as compared with the various noise filtering techniques.

  • The paper describes implementation of three-dimensional visualization system that is to provide comprehensive meaning of the statistical prediction results on the marine casualties. Graphical User Interface (GUI) and Web based Virtual Reality (VR) technology are mainly introduced in the system development. To provide daily forecasting, time based casualty prediction model and risk level index are developed in this work. As operating test results of the system, complicated statistical meaning can be shown in the three-dimensional virtual space using simple color. In addition, daily risk levels can be shown on the bar-graph.

Analysis of Spatial Mechanism Using Symbolic Computation (기호예산을 이용한 공간기구의 해석)

  • The purpose of this study is to develop a program for the automatic derivation of the symbolic equations necessary for the kinematic and dynamic analyses of the spatial mechanism. For this purpose, a symbolic manipulation package called MCSYMA is used. Every symbolic equation is formulated using relative joint coordinate to obtain the numerically efficient system equations. These equations are produced in FORTRAN statements and linked to a FORTRAN program for numerical analysis. Several examples are taken for comparison with the commercial package called DADS which is using Cartesian coordinate approach. Also, this symbolic formulation approach is compared with a conventional numerical approach for an example. The results show that this symbolic approach with relative joint coordinate system is most efficient in computational time among three and is recommended for the derivation of macro elements frequently used.

  • IPv6는 최신 장치에 대한 추가기능요구와 사용한 수 있는 인터넷 주소의 고갈이 임박해옴에 따라 만들어졌다. 기존의 IPv4 환경에서는 주소 부족에 대한 단기 해결책으로 NAT 등 여러 가지 메커니즘이 제시되었다. IPv6의 등장으로 IPv4의 주소 부족이라는 문제를 해결하였으나 NAT는 계속해서 사용되고 있으며 이로 인해 보안 서비스측면, 인터넷 및 통신 아키텍처 투명성 등의 문제들이 제기되고 있다. NAT 관련 문제를 해결하기 위한 기존의 접근 방법은 NAT와 상호운용성을 전제로 하고 있으나, 본 논문은 NAT를 대체할 수 있는 IPv6의 기능을 기술한다. NAT가 없어지면 각종 보안 서비스에 있어서 문제가 되고 있는 많은 복잡한 문제들도 해결된다. IPv6는 NAT를 대체를 위해 주소 공간, 자동설정메커니즘, 멀티캐스팅 범주(scope), 흡별 처리의 기능들이 존재한다. 각 기능들은 NAT의 장점을 대체할 수 있다.

  • Smart home is one of the ubiquitous environment platforms with various complex sensor-and-control network. In this paper, a now learning methodology for learning user's behavior preference pattern is proposed in the sense of reductive user's cognitive load to access complex interfaces and providing personalized services. We propose a fuzzy inductive learning methodology based on life-long learning paradigm for knowledge discovery, which tries to construct efficient fuzzy partition for each input space and to extract fuzzy association rules from the numerical data pattern.

  • In this paper, it can propose that Fuzzy Wavelet Morphology Neural Networks for the edge detection algorithm with being robustly a unclear boundary parts by brightness difference and being less sensitivity on direction to be detected the edges of images. This is applying the Fuzzy Wavelet Morphology Operator which can be simple the image robustly without the loss of data to DTCNN Structure for improving defect which carrys out a lot of operation complexly. Also, this color image can segment Y image with YCbCr space color model which has a lossless feature information of edge boundary sides effectively. This paper can offer the simulation of color images of 50ea for the performance verification of the proposal algorithm.

Numerical analysis of rock behavior with crack model implementation (균열모형을 이용한 암석거동의 수치해석)

  • Rock behaves in a complex way due to the discontinuities. To describe the complicated failure and deformation behavior of rock, many researches were focused on the development of crack models. This study discusses the validity of the sliding and shear crack model to systematically fractured rock, i.e. coal. The model was also implemented into a numerical analysis. For that, a finite element program was modified in several ways. To describe the transverse isotropy in two-dimensional analysis, the stress-strain relationship was modified for the direction of the axis of symmetry. Also, the changes of the effective elastic moduli according to the crack growth were calculated. A simple example of two-dimensional laboratory uniaxial compression test was analyzed. The results coincided with the observations obtained from the laboratory tests.
