A Study on the Weight-saving Design of the Boom in High Ladder Vehicle (고층 사다리차 붐의 경량화 설계에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to reduced the weight of ladder boom and to improve the manufactor process by the section modification. The Conventional model consists of integral section stiffener, while the proposed model consists of truss type stiffener to reduce the weight of ladder boom and wind effector. In the two analysis models, one is based on the single boom, and the other is based in the coupling model of two booms. We present the analysis results for the case when applying the weight, bending and twisting moment and wind pressure. Finally, a comparison between these results is presented to show the performance of our method.

  • 본 연구는 현대 집합주택의 개발의 실험적 토대가 되었던 1960년대 이후 1990년대 초반까지의 서울지역 아파트단지들을 중심으로 단지의 측면과 단위평면의 측면에서 시대적 변천과 유형별 특성을 분석하여 국내 집합주거의 양상이 어떻게 전개되어 왔는지를 인식하고, 국내 집합주거의 질적 향상을 위한 대안을 제시하고자 하는 추후 연구의 한 준거를 제시토록 한다. 이를 위하여 집합주거의 생성과 현황에 대하여 일반적인 고찰을 진행하여, 국내 주거양식이 점차로 고층, 고밀화되어가는 과정을 살펴보고, 이러한 주거양식의 집합화가 점차로 정책적인 차원에서 더욱 고려되어지고 있음을 현대에 이르기까지의 시대적 틀 속에서 고찰해 본다. 이와 함께 집합화되는 주거양식이 단위평면속에서는 어떻게 변천해 왔는지를 규모와 제실구성, 설비 및 구조방식, 내부공간 구성방식등으로 나누어 분석한다.

Structural Performance and Usability of Void Slab Established in T-deck Plate (T형 데크 플레이트 중공형 슬래브의 구조성능 및 사용성능)

  • In recent years, extension of life span of buildings is becoming an important issue in our society. To improve the life span of buildings, rhamen structure construction and long-spanned structures are advantageous. And in order to achieve this goal, structural elements of buildings must be light and slender. As an alternative method, general porous slabs are used frequently domestically and internationally. But the study on the porous slabs using T-deck plate and assembly of light weight precast construction is insufficient at present. In this study, flexural and fatigue tests were performed on six specimens to verify structural performance and serviceability. The main parameters of the specimens were light weight and T-deck plate construction possibility as well as slab thickness. The test results indicated that the strength of porous slabs using T-deck plate and assembly of light weight were much better than general RC slabs and porous slabs without T-deck plate. And stiffness was much better than that of other tested slabs.

A Study on Fire Facilities of Urbane Buildings (도시건축물의 소방시설에 관한 연구(I))

  • 우리나라는 1960년대의 경제개발계획에 따른 공업화 시축의 추진으로 산업의 발달과 경제성장은 인구를 도시로 집중시키면서 도시건축물은 대형화, 고층화, 과밀화 현상을 가져왔다. 한편, 국민생활의 향상과 산업활동의 다양화로 화재발생의 주요원인이 되는 전기, 가스, 유류등의 사용량이 해마다 늘어나고 있어 화재의 위험을 가중시키고 있다. 최근 10연간('81~'90) 전국에서 발생한 화재사고는 9만 5,154건이 발생하여 인명피해 1만1,117명, 재산피해 1,859억 2,200만원의 많은 손실을 가져 왔으며, 이 중에는 서울에서 발생한 화재가 3만6,089건으로 전체의 37.9%을 차지하고 있다. 화재가 발생할 경우 대형 참사를 방지하고 귀중한 인명피해는 물론 경제적 손실을 최저로 줄일 수 있는 소방시설을 도시건축물에 설치하여 이에 대비하는 것이 무엇보다 귀중한 일이다. 이는 화재예방 또는 발생 초기에 이를 감지, 통보하고 피난하며 소화활동에 이르는 모든 방재 및 소화를 위한 소방시설의 유용성을 최대로 발휘할 수 있기 때문이다. 본 논문에서는 서울특별시를 중심으로 도시건축물에 설치된 소방시설의 유지 관리 실태와 화재시 소방시설의 이용실태를 분석하여 문제점을 도출하고 이에 대한 개선방향을 제시하므로서 예방소방행정의 발전을 기하고저 하였으며, 그 내용을 요약하면 다음과 같다. 제1장에서는 서론부분으로서 연구의 목적과 범위및 접근 방법을 서술하였고, 제2장에서는 도시소방행정의 특성 및 소방환경의 변화로 먼저 소방행정의 의의와 도시소방행정의 유형으로 예방소방과 진압소방 그리고 구급.구조업무등을 살피고. 도시소방환경변화에 따른 화재발생추세를 살펴 보았다. 제3장에서는 도시건축물에 설치하는 소방시설의 설치.유지 및 이용실태를 검사.분석하였다. '90년도 서울시내 소방서에서 실시한 소방대상물에 대한 소방검사와 방화관리자에 대한 설문조사를 실시하여 소방시설의 유지관리실태를 통계.분석한 결과, 소방시설이 양호한 소방대상물은 전체의 75.9%이며, 불량소방대상물은 24.1%로 나타났다. 그리고 화재가 발생한 소방검사대상물에 대한 화재현장 조사결과 화재시 소방시설을 사용한 소방대상물은 전체의 72.1%를 차지하고 있다. 제4장에서 는 소방시설의 문제점으로 \circled1 소방설비부실공사, \circled2 소방시설 유지관리능력부족, \circled3 소방검사제도 불합리등이며, 이에 대한 개선방향으로 \circled1 소방설비 시공자의 지도. 감독강화, \circled2 자체시설관리능력향상, \circled3 예방소방행정제도의 개선을 제시하였다. 제5장은 결론으로, 우리나라가 최근 경제성장과 산업의 발달로 도시건축물의 화재발생 위험이 가중되면서 이에 대한 소방안전대비책이 요구된다. 이에는 도시건축물에 방화시설과 소방시설을 완비하고, 그리고 자격있고 유능한 방화관리자 선임하여 자체 소방계획을 수립하여 시설점검, 정비와 유지관리를 철저히 한다면 어떠한 화재도 예방 또는 초기에 진압할 수 있고, 또한 입주검자에 대한 소방교육 및 훈련을 지속적으로 수행하여 나간다면 여하한 도시건축물의 소방안전도 그 목적을 달성하리라고 생각한다.

Evaluation Study on the Mechanical and Thermal Properties of High Strength Structural Steel at High Temperature (고강도 구조용 강재의 고온물성 평가연구)

  • Recently, building constructions have been developed toward high-rise, long span, and multi-complexed using the high strength materials, optimized section. But the structural behavior of steel structural members built with a high strength steel at fire condition is not clarified because of lacking of information of related references such as mechanical and thermal properties at high temperature situation. In this paper, to evaluate the structural stability of member or frame of steel framed building at fire situation through the engineering method, the mechanical and thermal experimental coupon tests have conducted at various high temperatures and the comparison to those of ordinary strength steels were done.

Mechanical Properties of High Performance Concrete with Material for Lateral Confinement (횡구속재 변화에 따른 고성능 콘크리트의 역학적 특성)

  • Recently, as concrete structure becomes high rise and large scaled tendency, demands for high performance concrete such as high strength, high fluidity and high durability has been increased. Even though high performance concrete performs high strength, workability and durability, compared to with those of normal concrete, it is more brittle than normal concrete. Accordingly, this paper is intended to improve toughness and compressive strength through investigating the mechanical properties of the high performance concrete confined with metal lath, glass fiber and carbon fiber laterally in the case of 30% and 40% of W/B. According to the results, the compressive strength increases in order of metal lath, carbon fiber and glass fiber. Considering strain-stress curve with the kinds of material for lateral confinement, while brittleness failure occurs in plain concrete just after maximum load, it is improved in some degree in confined concrete due to increase of the strain by increase of toughness. Elastic modulus increases slightly in case of confined concrete, like the compressing strength.

  • Recently, the development of high-strength thicker steel plate above 600MPa is becoming active due to the increase in both height and member size of architectural structure. However, such steel, which is being investigated in Korea nowadays, has possibility of limited practical application because of high design code strength and high-yield ratio. Therefore, this study performed the validation for the structural performance of beam-column with combined axial force and bending moment whether this beam-column might be attributable as an architectural purpose steel. This study was conducted from the result of monotonic loading test of beam-column, based on the material properties of low-yield, 600MPa class steel which was developed during 1988-1993 in Japan. This study might provide the fundamental database for practical research for these steel which are actively being tested in Korea.

  • As recent buildings are getting more high-rise and larger, steel structures, not a reinforced concrete structure, for columns and beams among the main structural members in a building are being widely used. Steels used for the main members of a building are constructed with a fire-resistive structure by applying them with fire-resistive coatings. The introduction of a simple test method that can verify the performance of fire-resistive material constructed on a site without conducting a fire-resistant test(real scale fire test) is needed and this study derived a site analysis method possible to make a rapid and scientific analysis through the analysis of components (instrumental analysis) concerning tire-resistive materials. the possibility of application of it in analyzing congruence over site construction materials by recognizing it as a standard material after securing an inherent fingerprint area of tire-resistive materials of which performance was verified in the concrete through thermal analysis was proved through experiments. This research result can be minimize of casualties, who is harmed to building collapse according to structures fire.

Structural Effect Evaluation of an Apartment Building Due to the Water Tank under Earthquake Load (지진발생시 아파트 옥탑층 물탱크의 구조적 영향평가)

  • High-rise building for dwelling has many factors to be considered in structural aspects. In particular, the higher the building, the bigger the lateral loads such as wind and earthquake due to its dynamic characteristics. Unlike the wind load, the earthquake load, even if the shape of the structures are similar, depends on structural characteristics and it is difficult to predict. For an apartment building, the water tank in the penthouse, due to its heavy weight, changes the behavior of a building when the earthquake occurs. The purpose of this study is to determine how the water tank affects the behavior of an apartment building when earthquake occurs. Dynamic analysis was accomplished on two cases - 1) water tank is considered 2) water tank is not considered - to understand how it affects the behavior of a high-rise apartment building. Structural design was accomplished to understand how the water tank and the peak acceleration affects each structural member. The effect of the water tank on the response of structure was large. Elsewhere the water tank has no effect on the design of a strutural member. However some structural members were affected when the peak acceleration of an earthquake is 0.4g.

Boundary, Functions and Internal Structure of CBD in Seoul (서울 도심의 경계, 기능 및 내부구조)

  • The main purpose of this study is to delimit the boundary of central business district and to describe the internal structure of CBD in Seoul. To delimit the CBD boundary, we used the locational matrices of main CBD functions, which were ofganized through fieldworks. CBD functions are classified into 20 categories. They are retail sales, corporation managements, administration managements, business, and unclassified services, customer(personal)services, and manufacturings. The core area of CBD in Seoul is at Chongro and Chung Gu area that shows the locational consistency comparing to 1970s. Although the boundary is slightly expanded into west, south and east, the extent of horizontal expansion in CBD can be negligible comparing to the remarkable growth of Korean economy after 1970s. The reasons why CBD showed little expansion can be found out from the process of restructuring in Seoul metropolitan area, such as the growth of subcenters, decentralization of central functions, construction of highrise buildings, redevelopment in central area and so on. Internal structure of Seoul's CBD shows 5 specialized functional subdistricts. They are CBD core area, subdistrict of department and office functions, retail sales, customer services and light manufacturings.
