  • 최근 정부와 교육기관, 기업 등에서 잇따라 고졸 신입사원 채용에 대한 계획을 내놓는 등 고졸 취업에 대한 사회적인 관심이 높아지고 있다. 하지만 대졸 실업자들이 넘쳐나는 상황에서 고졸 취업은 여전히 어려운 문제다. 이에 광주공업고등학교 광정보기술과에서는 창의적이고 전문적인 광정보기술 인력을 집중 육성해 험난한 취업문을 넘기 위한 각별한 노력을 기울이고 있다. 광정보기술과를 맡고 있는 강민수 선생님의 이야기를 들어봤다.

A Study on Labor Market Precariousness of the Working High School Graduate Youths (고졸 청년 노동자의 노동시장 불안정 연구)

  • This study aims to explore life experiences associated with poverty and discrimination in processes of growth, career exploration, entry into the labor market, and career accumulation of the working high school graduate youths. With this exploration, we also intent to grasp their difficulties and needs, thus look for policy tasks for them. The analysis is based on qualitative case study. The results are following. Typical working high school graduate youths choose not to go on to university under the influence of unfavorable economic situation of the original families. They enter the labor market without enough career exploration and try to continue working mainly in low-income and unskilled jobs. They usually work long hours to increase incomes, thus, do not have enough time to invest on their own human resources. They locate in a vicious circle of income poverty, time poverty, and skill poverty, but rarely protected by existing employment and income support programs. It is necessary to improve or introduces policy packages including labor market transition support for the high school graduate, education, training, and career exploration support, income support for the working poor, social network support, and support for reducing the dead zone of social insurances.

Development and Validation of Occupational Personality Scale Required for Industrial High School Graduates (고졸 취업자에게 요구되는 직업인성 척도 개발 및 타당화)

  • The purpose of this study is to explore the occupational personality required for high school graduates and to develop a scale to measure them objectively. In order to achieve the purpose of the study, this study constituted the delphi committee composed of the teacher group and the industrial personnel group. Afterwards, Delphi survey was conducted twice, and it was found that 12 jobs such as sincerity and honesty were related to occupational personality. As a result of the development of the scale based on the previous research and the expert group interview, 12 factors and 116 scales were developed for the pre - occupational personality test tool. In order to verify the validity and reliability of the developed preliminary test tool, we conducted a questionnaire survey of 700 students of vocational high school, and 514 questionnaires were used for final analysis. Parallel analysis was performed to determine the number of factors before exploratory factor analysis. As a result, eight factors were found to be appropriate. As a result of exploratory factor analysis using the 'maximum likelihood method' and 'direct oblimin rotation method', 78 items of 8 factors were found appropriate. However, in order to confirm whether the item reflects the contents of the factors, we conducted a content validity test for the expert group. As a result, feedback was obtained that 19 items were irrelevant or inadequate. Therefore, the validity of the existing job personality test tool and the modified job personality test tool were verified through confirmatory factor analysis. As a result, the fitness of the revised test tool was higher and the fitness level was generally good.

우리나라의 옛 인쇄문화 그리고 서양으로의 전파

  • 우리나라의 옛 인쇄가 언제부터 시작되었는지는 정확히 알 수 없다. 그러나 삼국시대 인장, 비석, 경판 등을 종이에 베끼거나, 나무나 돌에 조작하던 기술이 집적되어 인쇄술로 발전하면서부터 시작되었을 것으로 보인다. 우리나라의 현존하는 가장 오래된 인쇄물은 나무판본으로 1966년 경주 불국사 석가탑에서 발견된 "무구정광대다라니경"이다. 이것은 석가탑 건립 당시인 751년(신라 경덕왕10년)경에 만든 것으로 판각이 정교하고 고졸한 느낌을 준다.

Business Cycle and Labor Market Transitions : A Comparison among Demographic Groups (경기변동과 고용 동학에 대한 분석: 집단 간 취업-미취업 이행확률 비교를 중심으로)

  • This study examines how the rate of transition between employment and non-employment changes with the business cycle using monthly panel data constructed from 2000-2013 Korea Labor and Income Panel Study(KLIPS). In particular, we investigate whether the transition rates are different across demographic groups when the labor market is depressed. We find that, as the labor market weakens, the transition rate into non-employment significantly increases. The rates of transition into non-employment are substantially higher for female, older and less educated groups than those for male, prime-aged and more educated groups.

제품구매시 소비자의 안전추구행동 분석 : 가정생활 양식유형, 안전의식의 영향력을 중심으로

  • 본 연구에서는 전국에 거주하는 20세 이상 남녀 총 2,000 명을 조사대상으로 한 한국소비자원 (2007)의 "국민소비행태 및 의식구조 조사"자료를 가지고 소비자의 안전추구행동을 조사분석하였다. 구체적으로, 소비자안전의식과 가정생활양식 변수가 소비자 안전추구행동에 미치는 요인을 조사하였다. 본 연구의 분석결과를 정리 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 소비자들은 자동차를 제외하고 농산물 구매에서 안전성보다는 가격, 신선도 등 다른 요인을 중요한 기준으로 고려하고 있어 안전추구행동이 낮은 수준이라고 하겠다. 둘째, 소비자 안전의식은 여성, 젊은 소비자, 가족 수가 3인 인 경우, 농산물 수입개방에 대해 중간적 입장을 취한 소비자의 경우, 미래지향적인 소비자들에게서 높은 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 대체로 농산물 구매에 있어서 소비자가 환경지향적이고 농산물 수입개방에 대해 부정적인 소비자 일 수록 안전추구행동 수준이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 자동차의 경우 남성, 미혼자, 연령이 낮은 경우, 가족 수가 적은 경우 안전성을 중요한 구매기준으로 고려하고 있었다. 대체로 여성, 미혼, 나이가 많은 경우, 가족수가 적은 경우, 환경의식이 높은 경우 술의 소비가 적었으며, 여성, 고졸이하, 나이가 적은 경우, 가족 건강 여가 지향적인 경우 담배를 전혀 소비하지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 여성, 대졸, 고소득, 가족 건강지향적, 부정적 농산물수입개방 태도의 경우 수입농산물 구매에서 안전성을 제일 중요한 기준으로 삼고 있었다. 끝으로, 여성, 고졸 소비자, 여가 현재 지향적, 환경의식이 높은 소비자의 경우 안전추구행동 수준이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 그러나, 소비자의 안전의식은 안전추구 행동에 직접적 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 밝혀졌다.

The Relationship between Perceived Social Support and Career Barriers among Out-of school Adolescents preparing for Qualification Examination for High School Degree: Mediating Effects of Alienation (고졸검정고시를 준비하는 학교 밖 청소년들이 지각한 사회적 지지와 진로장벽의 관계 : 소외감의 매개효과)

  • Recently, the number of out-of-school adolescents has been increasing, and problems associated with their careers have become an important issue. This study was conducted to identify the relationship between the career barriers and perceived social support type/support source and to examine whether a sense of alienation mediates the relationship between perceived social support and career barriers among out-of-school adolescents preparing for the qualification examination for their high school degree. To accomplish this, a survey of 207 students from the Youth Support Center for out-of-school adolescents-K-Dream-and Qualification Examination Institute located in five regions (Seoul, Busan, Jeju, Gangwon, and Jeonla province) was conducted. Correlation analysis, regression analysis and the Sobel test were used to verify the relationships between variables and mediation effects. The results showed a significant negative correlation between social support and career barriers and a significant positive correlation between alienation and career barriers. Carrier barriers and alienation were highly correlated with parent support and evaluation support. Moreover, a sense of alienation was found to fully mediate the relationship between parental support/teacher support and career barriers, as well as to partially mediate the relationship between peer support and career barriers. A sense of alienation was found to fully mediate the relationship between information support/evaluation support/emotional support/material support and career barriers. These findings imply that, in out-of-school adolescents, career barriers can be reduced through various kinds of social support provided by peers, parents and teachers as it decreases the sense of alienation.
