  • 본 연구는 Ratary 날염기용 스크린을 제작할 때 사용되는 고정용 end-ring 접착에 사용되는 접착제에 관한 연구이다. 현재 수입에 의존하고 있는 end-ring 접착제의 국산화를 위한 연구였으며, 수입제품과의 동등한 물성을 얻을 수 있었다.

Cogging Torque and Acoustic Noise Reduction in High Torque BLDC Motors by Teeth Pairings (고정자 잇날 페어링을 이용한 고출력 토크 BLDC 전동기의 코깅 토크 및 소음 저감)

  • This paper investigates reduction of acoustic noise and cogging torque in a BLDC motor with larger stator slot open width. Using energy method, cogging torque is analytically determined with airgap MMF function and airgap permeance function and confirmed by FEM analysis. It shows that the cogging torque is firstly governed by NL GNL BNL with the fundamental period of NL, where NL is the least common multiple of the number of slots and the number of poles, GNL, airgap permeance function and BNL, airgap MMF function. It also shows that there exist several tooth width which minimizes the cogging torque, for the motors that smaller slot open width or stator teeth notching is not available. And it proposes a teeth pairing with two different tooth width which can effectively eliminate the cogging torque and thus the acoustic noise. Experimental results show that the proposed teeth pairing reduces the cogging torque by 85% and the acoustic noise by 3.1dB.

Surgical Repair of Rostral Hemimandibular Fractures with Canine Tooth Luxation in a Dog (개에서 견치 탈구를 동반한 앞쪽 하악골 골절의 수술적 정복 1례)

  • A sexually intact female Alaskan Malamute, 5-year-old weighing 25.2 kg presented to the Hangang Animal Hospital, following hit-by-car. On initial presentation, the dog had severe salivation and the right canine tooth luxation. Radiographs revealed fractures of the right rostral hemimandible with the right canine tooth luxation and symphyseal separation. Surgical repair of fractures was performed by use of an interdental wiring technique and external fixation technique that included pins, an acrylic connecting bar, and polymethyl methacrylate bone cement. Post-operative radiographs revealed that bridging callus was well formed over cortices of the fracture area. Pins and an acrylic connecting bar were removed 7 weeks post-operatively. The dog exhibited evidence of normal mastication.

On Energy-Optimal Voltage Scheduling for Fixed-Priority Hard Real-Time Systems (고정 우선순위 경성 실시간 시스템에 대한 최적의 전압 스케줄링)

  • We address the problem of energy-optimal voltage scheduling for fixed-priority hard real-time systems. First, we prove that the problem is NP-hard. Then, we present a fully polynomial time approximation scheme (FPTAS) for the problem. for any $\varepsilon$>0, the proposed approximation scheme computes a voltage schedule whose energy consumption is at most (1+$\varepsilon$) times that of the optimal voltage schedule. Furthermore, the running time of the proposed approximation scheme is bounded by a polynomial function of the number of input jobs and 1/$\varepsilon$. Experimental results show that the approximation scheme finds more efficient voltage schedules faster than the best existing heuristic.

  • Recently the demand for natural gas as clean and safe energy due to concerns about global warming and interests in green ship is increasing. The dual fuel(DF) engine, one of environmentally friendly engines, is preferred for general merchant ships and power plants as well as LNG carriers. This is for the reasons of having higher efficiency and lower nitrogen and sulfur oxides emissions by operating on LNG fuel with a small amount of light fuel oil. In this study, the engine body vibration characteristics of 12V50DF in a generator set with engine-resilient-mounted, generator-rigid-mounted and flexible-coupling configuration are investigated through theoretical analysis and comprehensive vibration measurement. This analysis showed the dynamic behavior of engine excitation forces and seismic waves. And the suitable countermeasures for reducing vibration and safe operation are proposed.

  • We propose a new video compression method based on MCTF(motion compensated temporal filtering) with constant quality. SPECK is an efficient image compression coding method of encoding DWT coefficients. Especially SPECK method is very efficient for coding the motion compensated residual image which usually has larger amounts of high frequency components than the natural images. And proposed multi block size hierarchical motion estimation technique is more efficient than classical block matching algorithm with fixed block size both in estimation precision and operation costs. Proposed video method based on MCTF video compression can also support multi-frame rate decoding with reasonable complexity. Simulation results showed that proposed method outperforms H.263 video compression standard.

  • The purpose of this paper is to minimize the a slack computation time of the scheduling of a soft aperiodic real-time tasks in a fixed priority real-time system. The proposed algorithm reduces the computation overhead at on-line time and supports the maximum slack time assigned for aperiodic real-time tasks. The proposed algorithm has 10~20% more response time for aperiodic real-time tasks than that of Slack Stealing Algorithm that offers optimal response time in fixed priority real-time system. However, the performance of the proposed algorithm is seven times better in a scheduling overhead.

  • The existing rooftop solar power generation systems focus mainly on the development of a fixed system because of system error along with safety problem. Accordingly, it is intended to develop a rooftop mounted smart solar power generation system by adding a solar tracking system and a monitoring system to the existing fixed rooftop solar power generation technology. It plans to develop and commercialize 'Rooftop Mounted Smart Solar Power Generation System' by applying solar tracking system, safety diagnosis and response system, abnormal diagnosis and alarm system, and external device control and monitoring systems.

Accuracy Evaluation of Open-air Compost Volume Calculation Using Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (무인항공기를 이용한 야적퇴비 적재량 산정 정확도 평가)

  • While open-air compost has value as a source of nutrients for crops in agricultural land, it acts as a pollution that adversely affects the environment during rainfall, and management is required. In this study, it was intended to analyze the accuracy of calculating open-air compost volume using fixed-wing UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) capable of acquiring a wide range of images and automatic path flights and to identify the possibility of utilization. In order to evaluate the accuracy of calculating the three open-air compost volume, ground LiDAR surveys and precision surveys using a rotary UAV were performed. and compared with the open-air compost volume acquired through a fixed-wing UAV. As a result of comparing the calculation of open-air compost volume based on the ground LiDAR, the error rate of the rotary-wing was estimated to be ±5%, and the error rate of fixed-wing was -15 ~ -4%. one of three open-air compost volume calculated by fixed-wing was underestimated as about -15 %, but the deviation of the open-air compost volume was 2.9 m3, which was not significant. In addition, as a result of periodic monitoring of open-air compost using fixed-wing UAV, changes in the volume of open-air compost with time could be confirmed. These results suggested that efficient open-air compost monitoring and non-point pollutants in agricultural for a wide range using fixed-wing UAV is possible.

The Fish-eye Lens Distortion Correction of Facilities Monitoring CCTV (시설물 감시용 CCTV의 초광각 렌즈 왜곡보정)

  • The demand that we are monitoring security and crime of the urban facilities is increasing recently, but the using CCTV devices are expensive. In this research, we enlarge the angle of view using the Fish-eye Lens and the Photogrammetry, the efficiency of monitoring enhance. First, we carry out the calibration of the Fish-eye Lens indoors, we calculate the correction parameters, and then covert the original image-point to new image-point correcting distortion. Second, the correction program with the correction parameters can obtain the real-time correcting image. Lastly, for authorization the developed program we compare correcting-image with scanning-imge, it is showed the RMSE is 3.2pixel.
