  • This space is for the of your study in English. If simple menu item changes or the addition of check items are necessary on GUI menu of existing test equipments for military facilities that are programmed by using RAD tools such as Visual C++, they should go through complex steps, such as numerous conducting steps, coding, flash design modification, recompiling and distribution. It is cumbersome process and waste much time. Also, on implementing them, it was worried about leaking secrets because a number of military security considerations were included. To solve such as the above problem, we proposed commercial RIA technologies and a COTS fault diagnostic knowledge-based system that implemented by the XML data design technique in this research. The proposed approach solves the problem of existing methods, reduced inspection time, and improved performance, usability, and maintainability.

  • The aviation safety policy master plan is promoting the development of aviation safety management technology applying the 4th industrial revolution technology with the goal of establishing a flawless aviation safety management system and establishing a future aviation safety infrastructure. The master plan includes the establishment of various aviation safety management systems such as aircraft fault management using AI & Big data and flight training system using VR/AR. Currently, the Air Force is promoting a flight safety management system using new technology under the goal of building smart air force. Therefore, this study intends to apply the 4th Industrial Revolution technology to the aircraft condition check system that finally checks the safety of the aircraft before flight. The Air Force conducts airframe flaw checks and pre-flight aircraft check. In this study, we architect the airframe flaw check system using AI and drones, and the pre-flight aircraft condition check system using the IoT and big data for more precise and detailed check of aircraft condition and flawlessness check.

Study on Practical Use of Air Vehicle Test Equipment(AVTE) for UAV Operation Support (무인항공기 운용 지원을 위한 비행체 점검장비 활용에 관한 연구)

  • AVTE(Air Vehicle Test Equipment) is an equipment to inspect and check the status of on-board aircraft LRUs(Line Replacement Units) before and after flight for performing successful UAV(Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) missions. This paper suggests utilization of the AVTE as an operation support-equipment by implementing several critical functions for UAV-operation on the AVTE. The AVTE easily sets initialization(default) data and compensates for the installation and position errors of the LRUs which provide critical mission data and situation image with pilots without additional individual operation support-equipment. Major fault list and situation image data could be downloaded after flight using the AVTE in the event of UAV emergency situation or unusual occurrence on duty as well. We anticipate the suggested operational approach of the AVTE could dramatically reduce the cost and man power for design and manufacture of additional operation support equipment and effectively diminish workload of the operator.

  • This paper introduces a new At-speed Interconnect Test Controller (ASITC) that can detect and diagnose dynamic as well as static defects in an SoC. SoC is comprised of IEEE 1149.1 and P1500 wrapped cores which can be operated by multiple system clocks. In other to test such a complicated SoC, we designed a interface module for P1500 wrapped cores and the ASITC that makes it possible to detect interconnect delay faults during 1 system clock from launching to capturing the transition signal. The ASITC proposed requires less area overhead than other approaches and the operation was verified through the FPGA implementation

  • Redundant programmable logic controllers are used in practice with the aim of achieving a higher degree of availability or fault tolerance. Redundancy system is fault tolerant programmable logic controller for machine and plant. It is event synchronized master-standby system with a 2 channel(1-out-of-2) structure. A data link connects line the master to the standby controller.Fault tolerant systems should always be used when it is necessary to keep the probability of a total control system failure to a minimum. The objective of using high availability programmable logic controller is a reduction of losses of fault tolerant system are quickly compensated by the avoidance of loss of production.

Optimal Inspection Periods of Safety System of Wolsung Nuclear Power Plant Unit 1 with Human Error Consideration (인간실수를 고려한 월성 원자력발전소 안전계통의 최적점검주기에 관한 연구)

  • The engineered safeguards of Wolsung nuclear power plant unit 1 contain redundant systems of 2-out-of-3 logic which are not operating under normal conditions but are called upon to act when emergency conditions develop. To ensure their operability, the systems are periodically tested. In this work, we develop the unavailability formulae for 2-out-of-3 logic configurations which take into account the failure probability of the channels tested due to human error in the simultaneous testing scheme. We also develop the model for the probability that the reactor is tripped during the surveillance test due to either system failure or human error. We determined the optimal inspection periods of safety systems, taking into account both the unavailability of the safety system and the probability that the reactor is tripped during the surveillance test. We compared the results with the inspection periods currently used at Wolsung NPP Unit 1. As a result, the inspection periods obtained using a minimum human error (8.24 $\times$ 1$^{-6}$ ) are shorter than those currently used in Wolsung NPP unit 1 whereas the inspection periods obtained using a maximum human error are (4.44 $\times$ 10$^{-4}$ ) longer than those used in Wolsung NPP unit 1.

  • In this study, GEC, VVVF train is mounted in the cab on the Improvement of Brake Controller checks were carried out.   • 국내 제조업체의 기술발달로 인해 각 산업계의 모듈 및 시스템에 대한 차체 개발과 더불어 이전 외국업체에 의해 설계된 시스템들에 대한 국산화가 많이 이루어지고 있다. 신뢰성평가에 있어서도 예전부터 수행하고 있는 부품단위의 시험평가와 더불어 최근에는 모듈 류에 대한 시험평가요구가 증가하고 있으며 특히, 이들 개발 모듈류에 대한 신뢰성확보를 위해 가속수명시험(ALT)과 초기고장을 가려내기 위한 번인(Burn-In)시험이 많이 행해지고 있다. 이들 시험을 위해서는 장시간에 걸쳐 그 모듈류의 기능을 점검하고 모니터링 할 수 있는 측정자동화 시스템이 필수적이다. 본 연구에서는 이런 측정 자동화시스템 제작에 관련된 내용을 기술하고 실제 적용 사례를 제시하여 모듈류의 가속수명시 기능점검에 대해 논하였다.

  • 신배전정보시스템은 국가적 차원에서 수행중인 지리정보시스템(Geographic Information System, GIS)을 기반으로 계획, 설계, 공사관리, 설비운영의 단계로 순환하는 배전업무의 특성에 따라 순시, 점검, 측정 등 현장업무에 정보체계 표준화를 이룩하고 이를 근거로 수집된 정보의 종합분석을 통해 경제적이고 합리적인 투자와 보수계획 수립이 가능하게끔 지원하는 종합시스템이다. 또한, 배전기동보수업무는 배전선로의 순시점검과 설비의 개 보수, 각종 측정과 점검, 사고와 고장 처리, 설비와 부하관리 등을 포함하는 중요한 업무 중의 하나이다. 그러므로, 이런 업무를 종합배전시스템에 연계함으로써 종합배전시스템의 장점을 기동보수시스템에서 충분히 활용하고, 또한 기동보수시스템의 핵심자료를 종합배전시스템과 연계함으로써 배전정보를 체계적이고 종합적으로 활용하는 것이 가능하다. 이를 통해 업무 생산성이 향상되고 사용자 운영의 편의성이 증대되기를 기대한다.
