Analysis of Trends of Traditional Markets in Changwon (창원시 재래시장의 실태 분석)

  • Two of most important industries in Changwon, the distribution industry and the construction industry have been threatened by the recent economic downturn. Rehabilitating plans for traditional markets tend to focus on renovation of facilities rather than on the managerial solution. Traditional market plays vital roles as a social safety net and a source of development of regional economy. Modernization of facilities and differentiation of business areas are two most important issues for the revitalization of the traditional market. Traditional markets should adopt a strategy which can make a difference in characteristics of the market, regional culture, regional industry and consumer behavior of the region. Purposes of this study are: first, to understand characteristics of traditional markets in Changwon, second, to draw implications for administrative and financial supports for traditional markets in Changwon.

  • 영화와 같은 사실적인 영상은 너무 많은 정보를 포함하고 있어서 때로는 사용자에게 제작자의 의도를 쉽게 전달하기 어려울 수 있다. 이와 달리 만화와 같은 비사실적인 영상은 중요하지 않은 부분을 아주 간단하게 표현하거나 혹은 중요한 부분만을 강조해서, 작가의 의도를 직관적으로 훨씬 잘 전달해 준다. 만화는 스피드라인, 말풍선, 배경 텍스쳐 등과 같은 만화 고유의 표현 기법들을 통하여 일반 정지영상들보다 많은 부가적인 정보를 전달해 준다. 특히, 말풍선은 장면 내의 인물들의 대사를 전달하는 매체로, 올바른 내용 전달을 위해 읽기순서(reading order)에 따른 말풍선간의 관계 및 말풍선과 인물간의 관계를 고려하여 적절한 위치에 배치 되어야 한다. 본 논문에서는 비디오 영상에서 추출된 장면의 만화적 변환을 위한 기법들 중에서 말풍선 자동 배치 방법을 제안한다. 제안한 방법은 지도에서 지명을 배치할 때 흔히 사용하는 특징점 라벨 배치(Point-Feature Label Placement) 방법에 기반하였다. 또한, 본 논문에서는 말풍선 배치가 얼마나 잘 되었는가를 평가하기 위한 객관적인 평가 함수를 제안하였다. "Love Actually", "살인의 추억"등의 다양한 영화 장면들을 이용하여 실험한 결과, 제안한 방법의 말풍선 배치 결과가 사람이 수작업으로 배치한 것과 비교해 크게 부족함이 없는 것을 알 수 있었다.

Progress and Problems in Korean School Library Policies (학교도서관정책의 추이와 과제: 인력정책을 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this article is to discuss about the progress and problems in Korean school library policies. The emphasis is on identifying both distinctive features and indigenous limitations in policy-making process, and special concerns are with both side effects and backgrounds of its rough-and-ready human resource policy. This article intends to approach the human resource policy issues from the viewpoints of school librarians as well as those of policy makers. The final suggestion includes both strategies and methods to make up and intensify the weakness of Korean school library policies, with focusing on enhancing the work competency of school librarians as well as the policy capacity of school library association.

Improved Similarity Detection Algorithm of the Video Scene (개선된 비디오 장면 유사도 검출 알고리즘)

  • We proposed similarity detection method of the video frame data that extracts the feature data of own video frame and creates the 1-D signal in this paper. We get the similar frame boundary and make the representative frames within the frame boundary to extract the similarity extraction between video. Representative frames make blurring frames and extract the feature data using DOG values. Finally, we convert the feature data into the 1-D signal and compare the contents similarity. The experimental results show that the proposed algorithm get over 0.9 similarity value against noise addition, rotation change, size change, frame delete, frame cutting.

Cell ID Detection and SNR Estimation Algorithms Robust to Noise (잡음에 강인한 셀 아이디 검출 및 SNR 추정 알고리즘)

  • In this paper, we propose robust cell ID detection algorithm and SNR estimation algorithm applicable to mobile base station, which can be operated independently. The proposed cell ID estimation uses signal subspace to estimate cell IDs used in cell. The proposed SNR estimation algorithm uses number of noise subspace vectors and the corresponding eigen-vectors. Through the computer simulations, we showed that performance of the proposed cell ID detection and SNR estimation algorithms are superior to existing correlation based algorithms. Also we showed that the proposed algorithm is suitable to fast moving channel in high background noise and strong interference signal.

  • 간호학에서 간호업무를 이끌어갈 간호이론이(지식체) 필요하다는 생각은 20세기가 되면서부터 시작되었다. 하지만 아직도 간호학은 간호학 특유의 지식체가 부족하다는 지적을 받고 있다. 주된 이유는 간호 업무가 재대로 확인되지 않았고 간호업무를 이끌어갈 간호학 특유의 간호이론이 확실히 정립되지 않았기 때문이다. 따라서 간호가 독자적 학문으로서 인정받고 발전하기 위해서는 간호업무에 적용이 쉽고, 간호 업무에 바탕을 둔 간호이론의 개발이 필수적이다. 왜냐하면 간호 이론이 간호업무에 쉽게 적용됨으로서 간호학의 지식체가 발전할 뿐 아니라 환자 간호도 더욱 증진 될 수 있기 때문이다. 이 논문에서는 간호지식의 발전 단계를 시대적 순서와 배경을 덧붙여 고찰하였고 간호학에서 간호 분류체계가 발전하게 된 동기, 그리고 간호 분류체계가 환자 간호와 간호학의 이론개발과 발전에 어떻게 활용되는 가에 대해 서술하였다. 그리고 간호분류체계가 가지는 특성으로는 먼저 간호실무를 체계적으로 명명하고 분류함으로서 간호학에서 필요한 연구영역을 확인하게 하게 하고 간호학 고유의 지식체의 발전에 공헌하는 것 뿐 아니라 간호정보화 시스템의 개발, 다른 의료전문가들과의 효과적인 커뮤니케이션 수단 제공, 간호의 지속성을 유지, 그리고 간호의 효과성 연구에의 활용 등이 있다.

  • The accuracy of face recognition used unmanned security system is very important and necessary. However, face recognition is a lot of restriction due to the change of distortion of face image, illumination, face size, face expression, round image. We propose a hybrid neural network for improve the performance of the face recognition. The proposed method is consisted of SOM and LVQ. In order to verify usefulness of the proposed method, we make a comparison between eigenface method, hidden Markov model method, multi-layer neural network.

  • In this paper, we propose a new approach to detect candidate area of vehicle license plate using compounded color and vertical edge information it's own. Also, we propose a verification course, to compressed image generated by Fast DCT, using SVM to increase accuracy of extracted vechicle license plate area. Proposed method is consider that vehicle's position, become a object of it's license plate recognition, has various angle, scale and include enough environment informations. As a experimental results, proposed method shows a superior performance compared with the case that not includes verification course using SVM.
