Effect of Precipitation and Dissolution of Si on the Thermal Diffusivity in the Al-Si Alloy System (열처리를 통한 Si 고용 및 석출 반응이 Al-Si 합금의 열확산도에 미치는 영향)

  • The effect of precipitation and dissolution of Si on the thermal diffusivity in the Al-Si alloy system is reported in this study and solution heat treatment followed by aging treatment is carried out to determine the effects of heat treatment on the thermal characteristics. The solution treatment is performed at 535 ℃ for 4 and 10 h and then the specimens are cooled by rapid quenching. The samples are aged at 300 ℃ for 4 h to precipitate Si solute. The addition of 9 wt% silicon contents makes the thermal diffusivity decrease from 78 to 74 mm/s2 in the cases of solid solution treated and quenched samples. After quenching and aging, the Si solute precipitates on the Al matrix and increases the thermal diffusivity compared with that after the quenched state. In particular, the increase of the thermal diffusivity is equal to 10 mm/s2 without relation to the Si contents in the Al-Si alloy, which seems to corresponded to solute amount of Si 1 wt% in the Al matrix.

  • The unemployment rate in Korea increased sharply since the deep economic depression. The rapid increase of unemployment rate is attributed, in part, to economic shock, but more basically to the structural problem of labor market. Moreover over 2-3 years later, the labor market perspective looks dismal. To overcome the labor market crisis, the fundamental reforms aimed at improving the labor market function is required. Thus the focus of policy should shift from reducing unemployment to increasing employment.

  • 기존의 그래핀 성장에 관한 연구는 열화학기상증착법(Chemical vapor deposition; CVD)을 이용한다. 그래핀 성장 제어 요소로는 촉매 기판인 전이 금속[Ru, Ir, Co, Re, Pt, Pd, Ni, Cu], 기판 전처리 과정, 수소/메탄 가스 혼합비, 작업 진공 상태, 기판온도[$800{\sim}1,000^{\circ}C$, 냉각 속도 등으로 보고 되고 있다. 그래핀 성장 원리는 Cu 촉매 기판에 메탄 가스를 $1,000^{\circ}C$ 온도에서 분해해서 탄소를 고용 시킨 후 급랭하는 도중에 석출되는 탄소에 의해 그래핀 시트가 형성되는 것으로 알려져 있다. 기존의 CVD를 열원을 이용할 경우 내부 챔버에 생기는 잠열에 의해 cooling profile의 제어가 용이하지 않다. 본 연구에서는 근적외선(Near Infrared; NIR) 열원을 이용한 CVD로 챔버 내부 잠열을 최소화하고, 냉각 공정을 Natural, Linear, Convex cooling type으로 디자인해서 cooling profile 제어가 그래핀 성장에 미치는 영향을 연구 하였다. 이렇게 성장된 그래핀을 임의의 기판(SiO2, Glass, PET film) 위에 습식방법으로 전이 시킨 후, 전기적 구조적 및 광학적 특성을 면저항(four-point probe), 전계방사 주사전자현미경(Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscope; FE-SEM), 마이크로 라만 분광법(Micro Raman spectroscopy) 및 광학현미경(optical microscope), 투과도(UV/Vis spectrometer)의 측정으로 잠열이 최소화된 NIR-CVD에서 cooling profile에 따른 그래핀 성장을 평가하였다.

  • 의료용 공구로 사용되는 합금은 마르텐사이트계 스테인리스강의 대표 강종인 420스테인리스강이 사용되며, 이 합금은 고온의 오스테나이트 상태에서 ?칭하면 마르텐사이트 조직으로 변태하여 현저하게 경화하는 특징을 가지고 있으며, 오스테나이트화 후 템퍼링시 우수한 기계적 성질이 얻어진다. 그러나 템퍼링 온도의 영향으로 석출탄화물이 형성되어 기계적 성질이나 내식성이 저하되는 단점이 있다. 본 연구에서는 STS 420스테인리스강의 템퍼링 온도에 의한 내식성 문제점을 개선시키기 위해 STS630 합금을 사용하여 다양한 석출 열처리 조건 및 플라즈마 질화공정을 연구하였다. 구입한 소재의 균일한 성분 조정을 통한 미세 편석 및 물성부여를 위한 균질화 조건 도출 열처리를 실시하였으며, STS630의 고용화열처리는 오스테나이트 균일조직이 되는 온도영역으로 가열하여 급냉하는 것으로 마르텐사이트 변태시키는 열처리를 진행하였으며, 열처리온도는 $1020{\sim}1060^{\circ}C$로 설정하였다. 석출경화 열처리는 $460{\sim}480^{\circ}C$$500{\sim}520^{\circ}C$의 온도에서 실시, 제품에 따른 인성을 부여하였으며, 질화공정은 플라즈마 장비를 이용하여 플라즈마 가열 ${\rightarrow}$플라즈마 이온질화를 통하여 가장 최적의 공정을 도출하였다.- 질화가 마무리 된 시료는 내식성 및 물성 평가를 통해 제품으로서의 특성을 평가하였다. 석출경화 열처리에 의해 STS420합금에 버금가는 인장강도 및 경도값이 나타났으며, 플라즈마 질화에 따라 물성 값의 향상이 나타났다. 용출실험결과 STS420합금의 경우 Fe, Cr원소의 용출이 나타나며 변색이 형성되었으나 STS630합금의 경우 그 현상이 미미하였다.

  • Transparent xBa(La$_{1}$2/Nb$_{1}$2/)O$_{3}$-(1-x)Pb(Zr, Ti)O$_{3}$ (x=8.5, 9.0[mol.%], Zr/Ti=70/30~40/60) ceramics were fabricated by the two-stage sintering method, the electrooptic properties were investigated with Ba(La$_{1}$2/Nb$_{1}$2/)O$_{3}$ content and Zr/Ti composition ratio. Decreasing the Zr/Ti ratio, the electrooptic property was changed from a quadratic electrooptic effect to a linear electrooptic effcet. In the BLN-PZT 9.0/50/50 specimen having the tetragonal structure, the linear electrooptic coefficient had the highest value of 6.01*10$^{-10}$ [m/V] and in the BLN-PZT 9.0/55/45 specimen which located near the MPB region, the quadratic electrooptic coefficient had the highest value of 10.53*10$^{-16}$ [m$^{2}$/V$^{2}$].

  • In this study, we investigated the effect of the modification of the system for vocational education and training support in 2009 has on the e-learning industry in South Korea, and diagnosed the problems associated with it. And we proposed on the direction of policy promotion that can contribute to the realization of creative economy by presenting improvement alternatives of the legal system on the vocational education and training that smart learning and creative convergence HRD are included.

  • Flexible production system has been expanded to all sectors of economy with the change of labor market and diversification of employment. The unstable employment with irregular work has replaced stable employment with regular work. This study has investigate the impact pathway of the type of employment on health status especially ill-health symptoms experiences. Among the first Korean Working Conditions Survey data, the employee's response data was used to analyze the path way with multiple regression analysis. The result has shown the direct effect of the type of employment on ill-health symptoms experience. Indirect effect of the type of employment was found the pathway via the exposure to noise, high temperature, low temperature, dust, skin contact to chemicals, painful posture, heavy material handling, standing position, repetitive movement of hands. However the exposure to the other hazardous factors such as organic solvent, wholebody vibration, radiation, lifting people, infectious materials were not influenced by the type of employment.

The Effect of Regular Workers and Non-regular Workers on the Subjective Health Status (정규직 및 비정규직 근로 형태가 주관적 건강상태에 미치는 영향)

  • Purpose: This study was aimed to examine the effect of employment status upon the subjective health status. Methods: The data of the study were from the 11th Korean Labor Panel Data, obtained by using a face to face interview method. These data were analyzed by ANOVA, t-test and multiple regression using the SPSS program. Results: There was a significant, statistical difference on the subjective health status according to employment status. The subjective health status of non-regular workers was lower than that of the regular workers. The significant predictors of the subjective health status of all subjects were economic status, age, gender, education, marital status, drinking, employment status, and egular work time. The significant predictors of the subjective health status of workers were age, economic status, gender, and education. The significant predictors of the subjective health status of non-regular workers were age, economic status, marital status, gender, education, and regular work time. Conclusion: These results indicate an association between the subjective health status and employment status. The subjective health status may be affected by instability of temporary employment. The additional research to clarify the role of employment instability is recommended. Research on social policy to resolve health inequalities is recommended.

Effects of Ce Addition and Isothermal Aging on the Elevated Temperature Tensile Properties of Mechanically Alloyed Al-Ti Alloys (기계적합금화한 Al-Ti 합금의 고온 인장 특성에 미치는 Ce의 첨가와 등온열처리의영향)

  • 기계적합금화 한 AI-Ti합금의 상온 및 고온 인장강도는 25at.% Ti을 Ce으로 치환함에 따라 증가하였다. 그러나 25at.% 이상의 Ce첨가는 합금의 인장강도를 감소시켰다. 이는 Ce이 적은 고용도 효과에 의해 금속간화합물의 초대화를 억제하여 합금의 강도를 증가시키지만 다량 첨가시에는 Ti에 비해 무거운 원자량으로 인해 분산상의 부피분율을 감소시켜 합금의 강도가 오히려 저하시킨 것으로 생각된다. Ce의 첨가는 40$0^{\circ}C$와 51$0^{\circ}C$에서 합금의 열저안정성을 향상시키는 것으로 나타났다. 300-51$0^{\circ}C$ 온도범위에서 측정된 AI-8wt.%(Ti+Ce)합금의 변형에 필요한 활성화에너지는 AI의 자기확산에 필요한 에너지 (142kJ/mode)의 1.3-1.9배로 나타났다. 이로부터 AI-Ti-Ce 합금의 고온 변형은 Orowan기구에 의한 것을 생각된다.

Influence of Microstructures on Thermal Expansion Behavior of $Al_2TiO_{5}$ Ceramics ($Al_2TiO_{5}$ Ceramics의 열팽창거동에 대한 미세구조의 영향)

  • The thermal stability of $Al_2TiO_{5}$ ceramics was improved by formation of solid solution with MgO, such as $MgAl_2O_4$ spinel through electrofusion in an arc furnance, and by limitation of grain size and microcracks with $SiO_2$, $ZrO_2$ and ${\alpha}$-$Al_2O_3$. The low thermal expansion properties of $Al_2TiO_{5}$ composites show the thermal hysteresis curves due to the strong anisotropy of $Al_2TiO_{5}$. These phenomena are explained by the opening and closing of microcracks. The relation between thermal hysteresis, microstructures and sintering temperature were studied by dilatometry.
