A Study on Weight of SWOT Factors for Korea Food Service Franchise Entrepreneur (국내 외식프랜차이즈의 창업을 위한 SWOT요인의 중요도에 관한 연구)

  • The International Monetary Fund (IMF) crisis introduced a system for easy layoffs. With recent economic downturn, employees have been asked to retire early and less new jobs have become available. More small businesses as a result have been started. The purpose of this research is to study weight and ranking on SWOT factors of korea food service franchise industry using the SWOT analysis. The Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Analytic Network Process (ANP) were used to analyze the SWOT found by the surveys. First, the SWOT analysis shows that the franchise owners and the expert group view the industry positively overall and there are more strengths, opportunities than weaknesses, threats. While there are negatives and threats to the industry overall, many people think that there are more opportunities and positive aspects. Second, the franchise owners rank proven business model and platform (S3) as the strongest strength of food service franchise businesses while the expert group ranks management supports (S2) from headquarters as the strongest strength. Third, the expert group and franchise owner group indicate that the weight on unfair franchise contracts with headquarters(W3) and high penalty from breaking a franchise agreement(W4) are 60% of weaknesses. Fourth, both the expert group and franchise owner group indicate that change in people's lifestyle, value system and consumption pattern(O3) as the most important opportunity. Fifth, both groups indicate that changes in consumption pattern(T1) due to ever changing food service industry as the biggest threat. It is ranked higher than the entry of korea food service franchises.

Improvement of Au Leaching from Gold Concentrates Using a Microwave and Thiourea-mixed Solvent (마이크로웨이브를 이용한 금정광 내 금 용출 효율 증가 기작)

  • In this research, we investigate the effect of microwave pretreatment on the recovery of gold from the gold concentrates by thiourea leaching. The changes in mineral phases by decomposition of pyrites in the gold concentrates using microwave were observed, and the result of microwave irradiation showed that the temperature of the irradiated sample increases with increasing irradiation time. With the reaction of temperature increases, Sulfur (S) in pyrites was converted to sulfur dioxide (SO2), and then the content of S in the sample was reduced. The analytical results of XRD and SEM-EDS showed that pyrites are converted to magnetite and hematite, and its surfaces are changed to a porous shape where micro-cracks are developed. The Au leaching efficiency from the irradiated gold concentrates using thiourea-mixed solvent increased with the increases of irradiation time and solvent concentration. The experimental results considering leaching parameters indicate that the mechanism of microwave irradiation increases the maximum leaching efficiency and leaching rate of the gold concentrates, and the solvent does a role for the increasing of leaching rate constant.

인터넷, 인트라넷과 연계되는 데이타웨어하우스 시스템의 구축방안

  • 정보는 의사결정자들의 수주에 있을 때 기업에 있어 강력한 경쟁무기가 된다. 의사결정자들의 정보에 대한 이러한 필요성을 충족시키기 위해서 데이타는 운영시스템(Operational System)에서 추출되어 데이타웨어하우스에 저장된다. 데이타웨어하우스는 핵심 비지니스영역(key business dimension)에 의해 정리된 historical data를 저장한다. 이러한 의사결정자들을 위한 데이타웨어하우스 정보의 전달은 기존의 클라이언트/서버 시스템 하에서는 많은 지원을 요구한다. 즉 기존 클라이언트/서버 시스템 하에서는 사용자들의 접근을 위해 데이타가 추출되고 조직화되어지고 나면, 반드시 분석 소프트웨어가 각 사용자의 컴퓨터에 설치되어야 하고 외부의 사용자를 위한 새로운 운영자가 고용되어야 한다. 사용자의 다양한 요구 그리고 계속적 사용자의 교체는 사용자 지원에 있어 심각한 기업부담으로 작용한다. 또한 클라이언트/서버 시스템에서는 기업외부의 정보 이용자들에게 정보를 제공하는데 있어 장소적 한계점을 가지고 잇다. 인트라넷과 인터넷은 이러한 클라이언트/서버 시스템 환경의 문제에 대해 해답을 제시한다. 인트라넷은 데이타웨어하우스로의 접근을 간단히 할뿐만 아니라 의사결정자들의 정보의 공유와 상호분석의 새로운 단계를 제공한다. 그리고 인터넷은 기업 외부 어디에서나 기업이 제공하는 정보를 이용하고자 하는 사람들에게 접근의 편의성을 제공한다. 즉 데이타웨어하우스의 목표와 인트라넷, 인터넷의 목표는 데이타로의 손쉬운 접근이라는 점에서 동일하다. 이러한 점에 착안하여 인트라넷과 인터넷하에서 운용되는 데이타웨어하우스 시스템 구축을 위한 방안을 제시하고자 한다.다(학생군:8.16kg 작업자군:12.9kg). 심박수를 이용한 생리학적 연구에서는 평균 심박수가 거의 100 이하를 유지하므로써 피실험자들이 8시간 작업기준으로 보아 무리가 없는 최대허용 하중을 결정하였음을 보였다. 또한 각 운반작업에 대한 최대허용 하중을 예측하는 회귀모형을 제시하였다.아직 정립되어 있지 않은 분산 환경하에서의 관계형 데이타베이스의 데이타관리의 분류체계를 나름대로 정립하였다는데 그 의의가 있다. 또한 이것의 응용은 현재 분산데이타베이스 구축에 있어 나타나는 기술적인 문제점들을 어느정도 보완할 수 있다는 점에서 그 중요성이 있다.ence of a small(IxEpc),hot(Tex> SOK) core which contains two tempegatlue peaks at -15" east and north of MDS. Study on the Geological Structure around KURT Using a Deep Borehole Investigation (장심도 시추공을 이용한 KURT 주변의 지질구조 연구)

  • To characterize geological features in study area for high-level radioactive waste disposal research, KAERI (Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute) has been performing the several geological investigations such as geophysical surveys and borehole drilling since 1997. Especially, the KURT (KAERI Underground Research Tunnel) constructed to understand the deep geological environments in 2006. Recently, the deep borehole of 500 m depths was drilled to confirm and validate the geological model at the left research module of the KURT. The objective of this research was to identify the geological structures around KURT using the data obtained from the deep borehole investigation. To achieve the purpose, several geological investigations such as geophysical and borehole fracture surveys were carried out simultaneously. As a result, 7 fracture zones were identified in deep borehole located in the KURT. As one of important parts of site characterization on KURT area, the results will be used to revise the geological model of the study area.

The Characteristics on Compressive Strength of Mixed Coal Ash in Ash Pond (회사장 혼합석탄재의 압축강도 특성)

  • The various recycling methods of mixed coal ash have been developed considerably and it's recycling quantity has been increased. However, the more relatively finer grain content of coal ash in ash pond is increased the more it's quantity is increased in recycling as products for drainage in soft ground etc. Accordingly, the geotechnical properties of mixed coal ash in ash pond would be inferior and it's recycling rate should reach the limitations in increase. In this study, to recycle mixed coal ash contained fine grain in considerably amount as products for strength, etc. By adding binder to it and manifesting, it's compressive strength is stronger than the criteria, these are suggested; 1) the variety of compressive strength test performed on mixed coal ash of various grain distributions as main material, 2) the kind of binder, it's mixing quantity and the optimum content rate range of fine grain coal ash that the compressive strength stronger than a certain compressive strength is manifested. Cement is more excellent than quicklime as binder in manifesting stronger compressive strength and the sieve type to sort it is #40 sieve in order to recycle all mixed coal ash in ash pond efficiently as products for drainage as well as products for strength, etc. And, it could increase insufficient compressive strength remarkably that content of pure sand is more in the rate as pure sand and the part of mixed coal ash in ash pond to pass through #40 sieve is mixed in the ratio of 2 to 8.

  • With the increasing use of mobile phones, mobile game is emerging as an entertainment for move. Furthermore, smart phone is widely spread, so mobile game market is rapidly growing. According to "Republic of Korea 2010 Games White Paper" mobile game market is growing annual average 10% or more, and is expected to reach $ 9.8 billion in 2011. It is almost doubled compared to 2007. It became possible to realize complicated high-capacity game with mobile phone developed to smart phone. And at the same time, mobile game is associated with Social Network Services (SNS) and is worldwide growing as a part of 'mobile life'. Apple launched an application open market, App Store, in 2008, and mobile game industry welcomed an innovative turning point. Global smart phone application market (App Store) is opened, so Gameday is able to launch mobile games easily to the global market getting out of the domestic market. In addition, Apple App Store has the structure of sharing their revenue with the developer with 7 to 3 which is more favorable terms for the developer compared to supply mobile contents to the mobile carrier who monopolized the market in the past. The largest proportion of the current App Store application is game, and Gameday has the opportunity to make a significant leap forward by keeping pace with the new environment changes.

  • BPR(Business Process Re-engineering)은 업무 프로세스를 혁신적으로 재설계 함으로써 급속한 외부환경과 내부환경의 변화에 능동적으로 대처하고자 하는 기업의 경영혁신 기법, 조직 재설계의 수단으로 도입되었다. 해마다 시행되고 있는 정보화평가위원회의 국가 정보화 사업에 대한 평가는 정보화 사업의 성과관리에 있어 BPR에 따른 조직과 제도개선 성과를 포함하여 제도혁신에 대한 인센티브 제공 둥 조직과 제도혁신 강화의 필요성이 강하게 주장되는 등 BPR은 공공부문으로 점차 확대 될 추세이다. 본 연구는 조직적 문제의 해결을 통하여 지방자치단체 GIS의 효율성을 제고 하고자 하는 목적으로 출발하였다. 따라서 BPR의 이론적 고찰을 통하여 지자체 GIS BPR의 개념을 정의하고, 지방자치단체의 GIS 시스템 도입 이후의 업무 프로세스의 변화, 업무 변화의 양상, 잠재적 업무 효과를 BPR의 기법을 통해 보여줌으로써 조직 재설계의 수단으로 GIS BPR의 가능성을 모색하였다. 이는 GIS 발달 단계에 따른 효과 창출의 패러다임을 고려한 지방자치단체 GIS 업무의 변화를 수용하는 능동적이고 융통성 있는 조직 모형을 찾는 것이라 할 수 있다. 따라서 단위조직, 진화조직, 전체조직의 GIS 발달 단계에 따른 지방자치단체 GIS 조직 모형을 규정하였다. 본 연구를 통한 시사점은 지방자치단체 GIS 조직이 현재의 단위조직 수준에서 진화조직의 단계를 걸쳐 전체조직으로 향하는 가능성을 제시했다는 점이다. 이는 지방자치단체가 각각의 단계에서 GIS의 도입 효과를 창출하기 위하여 충실히 수행해 할 것이 무엇인지를 BPR을 통해 조직적 차원에서, 그리고 조직이 다루는 업무영역의 차원에서 접근했다는 점에서 그 의의가 있다. 본 연구의 결과를 통해 지방자치단체 GIS 기본계획에 있어 조직 측면의 장기적 비전의 제시가 가능하며 이를 통해 보다 성숙된 GIS 사업의 추진과 효율적인 시스템의 운영이 가능할 것이다.. 이상의 결과를 종합해볼 때, ${\beta}$-glucan은 고용량일 때 직접적으로 또는 $IFN-{\gamma}$ 존재시에는 저용량에서도 복강 큰 포식세로를 활성화시킬 뿐 아니라, 탐식효율도 높임으로써 면역기능을 증진 시키는 것으로 나타났고, 그 효과는 crude ${\beta}$-glucan의 추출조건에 따라 달라지는 것을 알 수 있었다.eveloped. Geochemical Evolution of CO2-rich Groundwater in the Jungwon Area (중원 지역 탄산수의 지구화학적 진화)

  • Two different types of deep groundwaters occur together in the Jungwon area: $CO_2$-rich water and alkali water. Each water shows distrinct hydrogeochemical and environmental isotopic characteristics. The $CO_2$-rich waters are characterized by lower pH(6.0~6.4), higher Eh (25~85mV) and higher TDS content (up to 3,300 mg/l), whereas the alkali type waters have higher pH (9.1~9.5), lower Eh (-136~-128mV) and lower TDS content (168~254 mg/l). The CO2-rich waters ($Pco_2$=up to 1atm) were probably evolved by the local supply of deep $CO_2$ during the deep circulation, resulting in enhanced dissolution of surrounding rocks to yield high concentrations of $Ca^{2+}, Na^+, Mg^{2+}, K^+\; and \;HCO_3\;^-$ under low pH conditions. On the other hand, the alkali type waters ($Pco_2$=about 10-4.6 atm) were evolved through lesser degrees of simple wate/rock (granite) interaction under the limited suppy of $CO_2$. The alkali waters are relatively enriched in F- (up to 14mg/l), whereas the F- concentration of$CO_2$-rich water is lower (2.2~4.8 mg/l) due to the buffering by precipitation of fluorite. The oxygen-hydrogen isotopes and tritium data indicate that compared to shaltion ($\delta$18O=-9.5~-7.8$\textperthousand$),two different types fo deep groudwaters (<1.0TU)were both derived from pre-thermonuclear (more than 40 years old) meteoric waters with lighter O-H isotopic composition ($\delta$18O=-9.5~-7.8$\textperthousand$) and have evolved through prolonged water/rock interaction. The $CO_2$-rich waters also show some degrees of isotopic re-equilibration with $CO_2$ gas. The $\delta^{34}S$ values of dissolved sulfates (+24.2~+27.6$\textperthousand$) in the $CO_2$-rich waters suggest the reduction of sulfate by organic activity at depths. The carbon isotope data show that dissolved carbon in the $CO_2$-rich waters were possibly derived either from dissolution of calcite or from deep $CO_2$ gas. However, strontium isotope data indicate Ca in the $CO_2$-rich waters were derived mainly from plagioclase in granite, not from hydrothermal calcites.

Evaluating and Improving Urban Resilience to Climate Change in Local Government: Focused on Suwon (기초지자체 기후변화 대응을 위한 도시회복력 평가 및 증진방안: 수원시를 대상으로)

  • As the damage caused by the abnormal climate due to climate change is increasing, the interest in resilience is increasing as a countermeasure to this. In this study, the resilience of Suwon city was examined and the plan to improve the resilience were derived against climate impacts such as drought, heatwave, and heavy rain. Urban resilience is divided into social resilience (e.g. vulnerable groups, access to health services, and training of human resources), economic resilience (e.g. housing stability, employment stability, income equality, and economic diversity), urban infrastructure resilience (e.g.residential vulnerability, capacity to accommodate victims, and sewage systems), and ecological resilience (e.g. protection resources, sustainability, and risk exposure). The study evaluated the urban resilience according to the selected indicators in local level. In this study, the planning elements to increase the resilience in the urban dimension were derived and suggested the applicability. To be a resilient city, the concept and value of resilience should be included in urban policy and planning. It is critical to monitor and evaluate the process made by the actions in order to continuously adjust the plans.

Emotional Labor and Human Rights Protection in the case of airlines (감정노동과 인권보호 - 항공사를 중심으로)

  • Recent examples of abuse by black consumers (including air travellers) against emotional laborers have become a serious social issue in Korea in that they are likely to violate human rights of those laborers. Emotional labor is a form of emotion regulation that creates a publicly visible facial and bodily display, and also emotional management within the workforce that creates a situation in which the emotion management by workers can be exchanged in the marketplace. Example professions that require emotional labor are: nurses, doctors, waiting staff, and television actors. However, as the economy moves from a manufacturing to a service-based economy, many more workers in a variety of occupational fields are expected to manage their emotions according to employer demands when compared to the past. One of symptoms deriving from emotional labor is smile mask syndrome abbreviated SMS, which is a psychological disorder proposed by professor Makoto Natsume where subjects develop depression and physical illness as a result of prolonged, unnatural smiling. And higher degree of using emotion regulation on the job is related to higher levels of employees' emotional exhaustion, and lower levels of employees' job satisfaction. In most part, emotional laborers are more abused and hurt by so called black consumers who are raising complaints relating to products and services purchased against service providers for the purpose of maliciously getting compensation. Against this background, the Korean Government abolished "the Consumer Protection Act" and instead promulgated "the Basic Consumer Act" in September 2006 which stipulates that consumers are expected to have protection as well as responsibility and duty. The Aviation Security Act cites the examples of prohibited behaviors (unruly passengers) while they are travelling. In addition, human rights of emotional laborers could be more protected by the enhancement of etiquettes and cavalry and improvement of culture and working environment.
