  • 증기주입기간 고온, 고압의 증기 열에너지를 운동에너지로 전환하여, 저압의 피주입수를 고압의 계통으로 펌핑하는 장치를 말한다. 원자로에서 과도상태나 사고 발생시, 저온 저압의 냉각수를 고온 고압의 계통으로 주입시켜야 되는 상황이 종종 발생한다. 기존 원자로의 경우 먼저 여러 가지 능동적인 수단을 사용하여 계통의 압력을 떨어뜨린 후, 능동기기를 사용하여 냉각수를 주입시킨다. 냉각수를 주입시키기 위해서는 먼저 계통의 압력을 떨어뜨려야 한다. 기존 방식의 단점으로는 감압이 어렵고, 능동기기에 대한 전원 유지가 필수적이며, 능동기기(펌프)의 고장 가능성을 들 수가 있다. 증기주입기는 감압 및 구동력이 필요하지 않고, 움직이는 부분이 없이 노즐과 밸브로만 구성되어 있이, 냉각수 주입계통의 신뢰도를 크게 향상시킬 수 있다. 따라서 광범위한 운전 조건하에서 안정되게 작동할 수 있는 증기주입계통을 개발하기 위한 분석 기법연구 및 분석 코드를 개발하였다.

A Study on Slip Behavior of Fiber Preform by High Speed Resin Flow in High Pressure Resin Transfer Molding (고압 RTM 공정에서 고속 수지 유동에 의한 섬유 보강재의 변형 거동에 관한 연구)

  • This paper presents the slip behavior of composite fabrics by high speed resin flow in high pressure resin transfer molding. In order to observe the fiber deformation behavior, we constructed the measuring equipment for friction coefficient between fiber and mold, and the monitoring system for deformation of fiber preform in high-pressure RTM process. Coulomb friction coefficient and hydrodynamic friction coefficient between fiber preform and mold were measured and the external force induced by fluid flow causing the deformation of fiber preform was measured. Friction force calculated by friction coefficient and the external force upon fiber deformation were compared, which showed that preform deformation occurred when the external force was bigger than the friction force. The slip behavior of the fiber preform was mainly influenced by the volume fraction of fiber preform and the friction coefficient.

  • It is necessary for starting voltage to him on high pressure discharge lamp. This starting voltage supply to high pressure sodium vapor lamp as electric discharge lamp, Electric field is producted in Electric discharge tube, So accelerative electron collide against vapour atom and second electron is generated, And rapidly the current flow to Electric discharge tube. This paper showed that the life cycle and exchanges time for all electric discharge lamp was different according to each manufactures, This paper is proposed the evaluating algorithm of exchanges time for high pressure sodium vapor lamp, used LabVIEW software package.

Applicability of Washing Techniques Coupled with High-Pressure Air Jet for Petroleum-contaminated Soils (고압공기분사를 이용한 유류오염토양 세척기법의 적용성 연구)

  • Soil washing techniques coupled with high pressure air jet were applied for diesel-contaminated soils sampled by an underground oil reservoir of which the initial total petroleum hydrocarbon (TPH) ($2,828{\pm}206\;mg/kg$) exceeded 5 times of current standard level (500 mg/kg) regulated by the Soil-Environment Conservation Law. Through several tests, we found that the position of impeller has a critical impact for washing efficiencies. The highest washing efficiency was obtained at an oblique angle (30 degree) for the impeller and optimized mixing speed (300 rpm) that could have high shearing forces. Considered economical and feasible aspects, the optimum mixing time was 10 min. Rate constants of TPH removal derived from the first-order equation were not linearly increased as mixing speed increased, indicating that mechanical mixing has some limits to enhance the washing efficiencies. Application of high-pressure air jet in washing process increased the washing efficiency. This increase might be caused by the fact that the surface of micro-air bubbles strongly attached hydrophobic matters of soil particles. As the pressure of air jet increased, the separation efficiencies of TPH-contaminated soil particles increased. In the combined process of high-pressure air jet and mixing by impeller, the optimum mixing speed and air flow-rate were determined to be 60 rpm and $2\;kg/cm^2$, respectively. Consequently, the washing technique coupled with high-pressure air jet could be considered as a feasible application for remediating petroleum-contaminated soils.

Features and Cost Reduction Effect of High Pressure LNG Pipeline Network (고압 LNG 배관망의 특성 및 비용절감 효과)

  • Recently due to march as the high oil price, It is necessary for Korea to grope a plan, which is to increase the energy efficiency of existing facilities as well as to develop overseas gas and oil resources. With this point, this work carried out to approach the high pressure LNG pipeline network of Inchon receiving terminal with Newton method as corrective flowrate. We found that the high pressure network mainly depends on FCVs(Flow Control Valves). The high pressure pump showed the maximum efficiency at the FCVs of 50% opening and could discharge LNG only above the LNG head of 1,500m from a system curve obtained. The operating cost of pumps was estimated from their operating points. We compared the operating cost under normal operation with the operating cost under maximum efficiency. Especially, we obtained the day savings of a year as wells as the hour savings of a day. From the results, the high pressure network win be able to reduce the operating cost of 138 million wons in a year. This means that a pump can reduce the operating cost of 9,823 thousands won. Consequently, this work could find the operating features of the pumps under the complicated high pressure LNG network and the savings effect of the pump operating cost. Also, the results will be able to macroscopically contribute the heightening of national energy competitiveness as well as to microscopically contribute the future effective operation of LNG receiving terminal.

Parallel Operation of Voltage Source Inverters by Using Stator Windings of High Power Three-Phase Induction Motors (대전력 3상 유도전동기의 고정자권선을 이용한 전압원 인버터의 병렬운전)

  • The parallel operation of voltage source inverters using stator windings of high power three-phase induction motors was proposed in this paper. Most current high power induction motors with more than 4 electric poles have their external terminals installed so that windings of each phase can be approached from the outside. High power induction motors can be driven by parallel-operating several voltage source inverters through these external terminals. This way, in case a certain inverter breaks down, the operation torque will get decreased but the system can maintain its operation with the other inverters, so it can cope more effectively with breakdowns. Moreover, by providing phase difference to the switching movements of each inverter, it can increase equivalent switching frequency, which helps achieve good characteristics such as the reduction in the ripple of output torque, the reduction in the ripple of input current, and the reduction in the size of DC capacitors. Besides, since power is divided into each inverter, it can also decrease the ifluence of EMI occurring in the system. The characteristics of the proposed method were proved through computer simulations in this paper.

  • 일반적으로 이젝터(ejector)는 노즐로부터 팽창하는 높은 운동량을 가지는 주 유동과 주변의 낮은 운동량을 가지는 유동사이에서 생기는 강한 전단력을 이용하여, 분류 주변의 유체를 보다 고압의 부분까지 압축하여 수송하는 장치이다. 이젝터는 노즐(nozzle)과 디퓨저(diffuser)로 되어 있으며, 회전부분이나 활동부분을 가지지 않는 유체기계이므로 고장이 적고, 소형임에도 불구하고 대용량의 유체를 압축할 수 있는 특징을 가지고 있다. 그러나 이젝터의 구동은 유체의 전단력만을 이용하므로 효율이 낮은 단점이 있으므로, 이젝터 형상의 최적설계 및 성능개선을 위한 연구가 필요하다.

Effects of High Pressure Treatment on Antioxidant Compounds and Activity of Germinated Rough Rice (Oryza sativa L.) (고압처리가 발아벼의 항산화 성분과 활성에 미치는 영향)

  • This study is investigated to evaluate the enhancement of antioxidant compound and activity of rough rice with different germination periods and high pressure treatment. The subject was germinated at $37^{\circ}C$ for 6 days (HP0), and then the germinated rough rice were subjected to 30 MPa for 24 hr (HP24) and 48 hr (HP48), respectively. HP0, HP24 and HP48 samples were prepared and extracted with 80% ethanol. The highest total polyphenol contents (5.15 mg/g) occurred in treating at HP48 after germination for 5 days. The total phenolic acid contents including gallic acid, chlorogenic acid, catechin, ${\rho}$-coumaric acid, ferulic acid, salicylic acid, naringin, myricetin, trans-cinnamic acid, naringenin and kaempferol increased from $37.26{\sim}204.32{\mu}g/g$ at HP0 to $77.29{\sim}283.05{\mu}g/g$ at HP48. In antioxidant activity analyses, HP48 extracts showed higher values in ABTS and DPPH radical scavenging activity, reducing power, and $Fe^{2+}$ iron chelating effect than those of the HP24 and HP0 extracts. These results suggest that the combined treatment of high pressure treatment and germination process efficiently enhanced antioxidant compound and activity of rough rice.

A Study on the High Pressure Pump Simulation Model of a Diesel Injection System (디젤 분사시스템의 고압펌프 시뮬레이션 모델에 대한 연구)

  • The high pressure pump of a diesel injection system compresses the fuel supplied at low pressure into high pressure fuel and maintains the fuel of the common rail at the required pressure level according to the engine operating conditions. The high pressure pump is required to operate normally in order to compress the fuel to a high pressure of 2000 bar during the entire lifetime of the vehicle. Consequently, a suitable design technique, material durability and high precision machining are required. In this study, the high pressure pump simulation model of a 1-plunger radial piston pump is modelled by using the AMESim code. The main simulation parameters are the displacement, flow rate and pressure characteristics of the inlet and outlet valves, cam torque characteristics, and operating characteristics of the fuel metering valve and overflow valve. In addition, the operating characteristics of the pump are simulated according to the parameter changes of the hole diameter and the spring initial force of the inlet valve. The simulation results show that the operation of the developed pump model is logically valid. This paper also proposes a simulation model that can be used for current pump design changes and new pump designs.
