무인고속전차를 이용한 활주선 모형의 저항시험 기법 연구 (A Study on the Resistance Test Method for Planning Hull Model using the High Speed Towing Carriage)

  • The resistance test of a high speed craft such as planing ship is performed with a high speed towing carriage instead of ordinary towing carriage because of the speed limitation. In the resistance test using high speed towing carriage, the model ship is fixed to the carriage to restrain the running attitude for enough measuring time. Such method is called fixed model test method. In the fixed model test method, to get the appropriate running attitude, the model test is iteratively repeated until the trim moment and lift force are close to zero. In this research, trim free model test method is investigated to reduce the number of iteration. And, the limitation of towing speed range in the trim free model test method is investigated.

주상활주선형(柱狀滑走船型)의 SPRAY 관측(觀測)과 저면압력분포(底面壓力分布) (Some Tests on Spray of a Prismatic Planing Hull)

  • 고속정은 spray를 수반하는 흐름 특성을 가지고 있다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 spray의 흐름 특성을 파악하기 위해 몇가지 실험을 수행하였다. 우선 아크릴판으로 만든 주상활주선형을 이용하여, 예인수조에서 흐름의 가시화를 수행하고, 그 기록으로부터 화상해석을 통하여 spray흐름의 방향, 유속등을 계측하였다. Spray에 의해 발생하는 모델의 양력, 항력을 구하기 위해서는 spray의 두께가 주요한 계측 항목이 된다. 본 연구에서는 운동량 이론을 이용한 새로운 spray의 두께 계측법을 제시하였다. Spray의 두께를 국부적으로 계측하여 저항성분을 구하여 적분하므로써, 본 실험모델이 받는 저항성분중 spray저항을 평가하였다. 또한 활주모델의 저면에서 압력을 계측하여 spray가 발생하는 원리를 보여 주었으며, 계측된 압력을 적분하므로써 모델에 작용하는 압력저항성분을 평가하였다.

하이브리드 방법을 사용한 고속 활주정의 내항성능평가 절차 개발 (Development of an Evaluation Procedure for Seakeeping Performance of High-speed Planing Hull using Hybrid Method)

  • High-speed planing craft is generally smaller than commercial vessels, for which not only the roll motion but also the pitch and heave motions are relatively large during operation However, if seakeeping performance of high-speed planing craft is evaluated by assessment methods of commercial vessels considering roll damping only, it would get unreasonable results due to excessive magnitudes of motion. This research aims at developing a procedure to evaluate seakeeping performance of high-speed planing craft reasonably well by considering responses of roll, heave and pitch motions. In addition, we tried to combine advantages of the potential flow method and CFD in this procedure, a so-called hybrid method, which uses the 3D panel method for the analysis of seakeeping performance, and tunes the damping coefficient using CFD analysis at a specific frequency. Finally, we evaluated seakeeping performance of coastal rescue boat in operation by applying the proposed procedure, and analyzed the results referring to the seakeeping criteria.
