한국형 고속열차의 350km/h 주행조건 고찰 (Study on the 350km/h Running Conditions for Korean High Speed Train(HSR-350x))

  • The running test for the Korean High Speed Train(HSR-350x) was performed at operating maximum sped(350km/h) at December 16th, 2004. HSR-350x had been fabricated in June, 2002 and the on-line test for the performance fo HSR-350x was started with 60km/h at August 19th, 2002. The success of running test at 350km/h is recorded the 4th rank in the world. In this paper, the measured results of the major performance(running behaviour, current collection, stability of rail and bridge) characteristics for HSR-350x are reviewed. All measured values are within the criteria.

  • The bogie of Rolling Stock is the basic rolling component. It operates the train body, guides the body considering various tracks and offers comfort to passengers. We can verify the safety level of bogie about all factors through the first -grade scenario of Preliminary Hazard Analysis, but especially the horizontal acceleration sensor, equipped in each power bogie and trailer bogie, is the device, which makes it possible to test bogie instability and uncomfortable body movements by the method, similar to actual train driving, and in this context the necessity of this device becomes important. This paper would classify the main functions of driving sub system and examine the reliability, availability, maintainability and safety, which are main factors of RAMS. Especially, we would realize the bogie instability sensor with a simulator and offer the content in analyzing the data by the statistical method, which are obtained through the connected test with OBCS.

  • The equation of Resistance to motion of the Korean high-speed train has been calculated and evaluated using train speed measurements gathered from coasting tests in the speed range from 30km/h to 300km/h and wind tunnel test of 1/25th scale model. The factors of resistance to motion have been decomposed into various coefficients which compose the coefficients of Davis equation referring the general resistance to motion equation of KTX train. The coefficients of Korean high-speed train has been calculated using the measurements of coasting tests and the results of wind tunnel test has been implemented to consider the minor shape modification after the coasting tests.

  • PCC(Point of Common Coupling) is measured by waveform in power system. Analyzing their frequency, it is possible to get various indices such as THD(Total Harmonic Distortion), TDD(Total Demand Distortion), and VF(Voltage Flicker), and then the harmonic can be evaluated from them. In this paper, the harmonic effect on the power supply which is generated by the vehicle is presented by comparing harmonics with the substation and the vehicle.

  • The sophisticated technologies, ensuring both stability and curving performance, are required for the medium high speed train running on conventional railway line where tangent and curved section mixed together. We can hardly meet the both requirements conflicting each other with the conventional type of bogie. Effective solution is to apply stabilizing mechanism for the bogie design, which increase hunting stability or dynamically critical speed while maintaining curving performance. In this research the numerical analysis by means of multi-body dynamic simulation S/W, experiments by using roller test rig and main line running test have been comprehensively performed for the 200km/h Korean Tilting Train with newly developed stabilizer. The paper proposes the effectiveness of stabilizer and its usefulness based on the results of analyses.

  • A study on the effects of a high-speed railway bridge vibration induced by moving train on the nearby bridge is performed. Longitudinal and lateral accelerations of slabs and piers which are calculated from moving load analysis of a high-speed railway bridge can be used as input ground motions for the adjacent bridge. Dynamic responses of the adjacent bridge considering soil-structure interaction effects are analyzed by sub-structure method. Analysis procedure is made of free field analysis, calculation of impedance and effective input load and soil-structure system analysis.

  • The development of the European railway high speed network brings new problems related to the interoperability across the railways of different countries. The pantograph and the overhead wire form a dynamic coupled system and they affect each other through the contact force. Unfortunately, as the operational speed of a train increases, the vibration of the pantograph and the overhead wire also increases. This may lead to a zero contact force between the pantograph head and the overhead wire, which can results in the loss of contact, arching and abrasion. If the arching and spark happen between the pantograph and the overhead catenary system, the EMI(electro magnetic interface) and noises may occur. After an, the quality of current collection is deteriorated. This paper describes the dynamic response between the pantograph and catenary system by the numerical simulations and predicts the possibility of operating the high speed train in the conventional lines.

  • Many changes in the railway environment has directly affected to the railway company. To cope immediately with the influence of environment and to promote productivity, the railway company has to introduce an efficient train operation system and related core technologies. The railway system is composed or large-scale infrastructures ann high-cost trains. Simulation method is one or core technologies and also is efficient tool for planning and analyzing this kind of complex system. The purpose of this research is to develop multi-train traffic simulator considering high-speed train for GyongBu-Line. To achieve this objective, the elements of railway system was analyzed, and as a result, a data structure modeling for the railway system such as rail-Tine infrastructure, rain, timetable and operational route is presented. The developed simulator is composed of three major part : input-module, main-module, and output module. The concept and brief explanation of each module will be treated.

  • A multi-train operation simulation software is under development, in this G7 Project for a High Speed Train System, to simulate the running performance, power consumption, signalling and operation. In the first stage, a Train Performance Simulation (TPS) software is introduced in this paper. This is a core module of whole system and gives some parameters of a train, e.g., its position, speed traction and braking power and electric power system state, etc. In this paper, calculation technique was used for voltage drop at the train's positions and major posts along the catenary line. The final program will be used as an evaluation tool for system performance in constructing a new line or introducing a new train system.

  • 신설한 기존선 전철화 노선에서 영업운행을 시작하기 전에 차량의 성능과 급전설비의 용량을 선로의 상태를 고려하여 평가하는 것이 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 개통을 앞두고 있는 경부선 기존선 대전-동대구 구간을 대상으로 한국형 고속열차를 주행하고 속도단계를 올리며 차량 부하전류와 등가방해전류 시험을 수행하고 그 결과를 소개한다.
