The objective of this study was to select a representative coastal disaster prevention forest type for each coastal area. In this study, we used cluster analysis with the results obtained from investigation for density of growing stock, tree height, DBH, and forest width and length of major coastal disaster prevention forests distributed in the west, the south, and the east coasts. The results showed that the coastal disaster prevention forests for each coast were classified into two types: a forest type with small DBH and high growing stock density (W1) or with high tree height (W2) in the west coast, a forest type with small tree height (S1) or with large DBH (S2) in the south coast, and a forest type with small growing stock density (E1) or with small tree height and low DBH (E2) in the east coast. The coastal disaster prevention forests located in Gurye beach (Hwangchon-ri, Wonbuk-myeon, Taean-gun, Chungcheongnam-do) and in Gohsapo beach (Unsna-ri, Byeonsan-myeon, Buan-gun, Jeollabuk-do) were selected as the representative forests of W1 and W2, respectively. In addition, the coastal disaster prevention forests located in Namyang beach (Namyang-ri, Seolcheon-myeon, Namhae-gun, Gyeongsangnam-do) and in Donggo beach (Donggo-ri, Sinji-myeon, Wando-gun, Jeollanam-do) were selected as the representative forests of S1 and S2, respectively. Last, the coastal disaster prevention forests located in Bonggil beach (Bonggil-ri, Yangbuk-myeon, Gyeongju-si, Gyeongsangbuk-do) and in Anmeok beach (Gyeonso-dong, Gangneung-si, Gangwon-do) were selected as the representative forests of E1 and E2, respectively. Our finding is expected to be used as baseline data in establishing the most appropriate coastal disaster prevention forest for each coast.

The dispersion pattern of a near miss neutralizer has a great effect on the disablement of a threatening projectile. This study numerically investigated the dispersion pattern of cylindrical tungsten impactors by an explosion in the near miss neutralizer. The mass and shape of the explosive were considered as influencing factors on the dispersion pattern. The explosives were set using two shape models: a parallel shape with the same upper and lower thicknesses and a tapered shape with different upper and lower thicknesses. In the simulation results, the dispersed impactors formed a ring-shaped pattern on a two-dimensional plane in an arbitrary space. In addition, the fire net area increased with the explosive mass when the explosive shapes were identical. In particular, the tapered shape explosive formed a larger fire net area than the parallel shape explosive. Based on the analysis of the fire net area along with the dispersion density, both the explosive mass and shape representing the physical characteristics should be considered for controlling the dispersion pattern of impactors in a near miss neutralizer.

In this work, modified epoxy resins which were well melted in mild solvent were synthesized and solubility assessment was carried out for synthesized epoxy resins. Bisphenol-A type, phenol novolac type and ortho-cresol novolac type epoxy resins were used and fatty acid, dodecyl phenol (DP) and toluene diisocyanate (TDI) were added for synthesis of modified epoxy resins containing fatty acid (MEFA). Composition was epoxy resin/fatty acid = 1.0/0.5 and fatty acid/DP = 0.25/0.25 by equivalent weight and twelve MEFAs were synthesized according to epoxy resins. Viscosity and solubility were measured for twelve MEFAs. As a result, solubility of MEFA was excellent for mild solvent according to increasement of contents of benzene ring, glycidyl group and carbon number of alkyl group. And physical properties were measured for each coating of paints after preparing transparent paints of MEFA to melt well in mild solvent among twelve MEFAs. As a result, they showed an optimal performance on conditions of equivalent ratio of bisphenol-A type epoxy resin/fatty acid/DP/TDI; 1.0/0.25/0.25/0.5 and equivalent ratio of phenol novolac type epoxy resin/fatty acid/DP; 1.0/0.25/0.25 for drying time, adhesion, hardness, impact resistance and alkali resistance.

The new complex catalysts were synthesized by the reaction of titanium compounds (titanium chloride or titanium butoxide) and diamines in this work, and they showed very high catalytic activities for the cyclododecatriene (CDT) synthesis from 1,3-butadiene through trimerization. CDT synthetic reaction was performed in an autoclave reactor, and the effects of reaction temperature, type of catalyst, catalyst amount added into the system, the mole ratio of Al/Ti and immobilization method were investigated on the yield of product CDT. The titanium complex catalyst combined to diamine with 1:1 ratio showed high selectivity to CDT more than 90%. The ratio of TTT-CDT/TTC-CDT isomers in the product revealed as different values, depending on the type of diamine combined to titanium and Ti/diamine ratios. Those homogeneous complexes could be used as a heterogenized catalyst after anchoring on the supports, and the immobilized titanium catalyst retained the catalytic activities for several times in the recycled reactions without leaching. The carbon support containing titanium has exhibited superior activity to the silica support. Especially, when the titanium complex was anchored on the support which was fabricated by the hydrolysis of tripropylaminosilane itself, the resulting titanium catalyst showed the highest BD conversion and CDT selectivity.
LV transition curves for poly(ethylene-co-15.3 mol% octene) ($PEO_{15}$) and poly(ethylene- co-17.0 mol% octene) ($PEO_{17}$) were measured in cyclo-pentane and cyclo-hexane. Between $40{\sim}150^{\circ}C$, the LV curve for ($PEO_{15}$ + cyclo pentane) located $1.1{\sim}2.7$ bar higher than that for ($PEO_{17}$+ cyclo-pentane). In cyclo-hexane, similar behavior was observed for $PEO_{15}$ and $PEO_{17}$ solution except the pressure difference reduced to $0.9{\sim}l.6$ bar. If the backbone structure of $PEO_{15}$ were identical to that of $PEO_{17}$, the LV line for $PEO_{17}$ would locate at high pressures than that for $PEO_{15}$, since the number average molecular weight of $PEO_{17}$ (Ave. Mn=153,040) is 1.9 times higher 4han that of $PEO_{15}$ (Ave. Mn=82,200). The difference in the octene comonomer content between $PEO_{15}$ and $PEO_{17}$ is only 1.7 mole%, nevertheless this small difference in the backbone structure of the PEO greatly affected the location of the L-V curves in the mixtures comprised of PEO and cyclo-alkane.
This paper deals with three issues related to influx and change of the Confucian Shrine Ritual Music. First, the musical instrument of the Akhakgwebeom-wooden frame-form used in the current Confucian Shrine Ritual Music is not a form that came in when the Daesung-Aak of the Song Dynasty was introduced in 1116, but it is a Yuan Dynasty form brought from the Ming Dynasty, in the 19th year of King Kongmin. In the Song Dynasty of the Goryeo Yejong era, when Daesung-Aak came in, there was not yet 'Baeso', a musical instrument of the Akhakgwebeom form, which first appeared in the Yuan Dynasty. A new musical instrument named 'Baeso' appears with the 'So' in the later period of King Gongmin, and it is very likely that this 'Baeso' is the musical instrument of the present Akhakgwebeom form. Second, although the form of the 'So' in the Joseon Dynasty recorded in the Akhakgwebeom was followed by the Chinese one, but the pitch and arrangement are the one of the pitch of '12 Yul and 4 Cheongseong' and the arrangement of the pitch from left to right. Third, in the 1930s, the whole form was the same as that of the Akhakgwebeom, but there existed two types, which several pipes stick together or pipes fall apart. But since then, as seen in the musical instrument located at Kyungpook National University Museum and in instruments currently used in Confucian Shrine Ritual Music, only musical instruments exist which pipes fall apart. It is unclear for what reason and to what extent the 'So' were so transformed, but it would be appropriate to re-establish the form of the 'So' in the musical and historical point of view.

In a nuclear power plant (NPP), periodic sensor calibrations are required to assure sensors are operating correctly. However, only a few faulty sensors are found to be calibrated. For the safe operation of an NPP and the reduction of unnecessary calibration, on-line calibration monitoring is needed. In this paper, principal component-based Auto-Associative support vector regression (PCSVR) was proposed for the sensor signal validation of the NPP. It utilizes the attractive merits of principal component analysis (PCA) for extracting predominant feature vectors and AASVR because it easily represents complicated processes that are difficult to model with analytical and mechanistic models. With the use of real plant startup data from the Kori Nuclear Power Plant Unit 3, SVR hyperparameters were optimized by the response surface methodology (RSM). Moreover the statistical techniques are integrated with PCSVR for the failure detection. The residuals between the estimated signals and the measured signals are tested by the Shewhart Control Chart, Exponentially Weighted Moving Average (EWMA), Cumulative Sum (CUSUM) and generalized likelihood ratio test (GLRT) to detect whether the sensors are failed or not. This study shows the GLRT can be a candidate for the detection of sensor drift.
Enthalpy rise hot channel factor($F_{\Delta{H}}$$^{N}$) is one of the most limiting constraints in determining the fuel loading pattern(LP) for PWR's. In order to enhance the LP design flexibility without any changes of not only basic fuel specifications but also Technical Specifications and Operation Procedures, we apply the enrichment zoning concept to Westinghouse designed PWR's to flatten the rod power distributions within the fuel assembly and thus to reduce $F_{\Delta{H}}$$^{N}$. Enrichment zoning is described that each assembly consists of two different enrichment fuels ; the lower enriched fuels are located in positions which are expected to have the higher rod power and vice versa for the higher enriched fuels. As a result of unit assembly calculations to flatten the rod power distribution within the assembly, the appropriate enrichment difference is found to be 0.3~0.4w/o. Through core depletion calculations for the 18-month cycle of Kori Unit 4, the $F_{\Delta{H}}$$^{N}$ behavior in core with the enrichment zoning concept is investigated. A comparison with the reference case without the enrichment zoning results in a reduction in $F_{\Delta{H}}$$^{N}$ of approximately 1.5%.TEX>H/$^{N}$ of approximately 1.5%.
Research on restaurant recommender systems has been proposed due to the development of the food service industry and the increasing demand for restaurants. Existing restaurant recommendation studies extracted consumer preference information through quantitative information or online review sensitivity analysis, but there is a limitation that it cannot reflect consumer semantic preference information. In addition, there is a lack of recommendation research that reflects the detailed attributes of restaurants. To solve this problem, this study proposed a model that can learn the interaction between consumer preferences and restaurant attributes by applying deep learning techniques. First, the convolutional neural network was applied to online reviews to extract semantic preference information from consumers, and embedded techniques were applied to restaurant information to extract detailed attributes of restaurants. Finally, the interaction between consumer preference and restaurant attributes was learned through the element-wise products to predict the consumer preference rating. Experiments using an online review of Yelp.com to evaluate the performance of the proposed model in this study confirmed that the proposed model in this study showed excellent recommendation performance. By proposing a customized restaurant recommendation system using big data from the restaurant industry, this study expects to provide various academic and practical implications.
