우리나라 1인 가구는 대부분 다인가구로의 전환 이전에 잠시 거치는 거주형태로 인식되어 불안정한 상황이다. 그러나 오늘날 만혼, 비혼 등 결혼에 대한 인식 변화와 고령화 등의 영향으로 가족의 형태가 변화하고 있으며 이에 따라 거주형태도 다인가족 중심에서 1인 또는 2인 등 소단위로 분화되면서 다양해지고 있다. 하지만 다인 가구에 중심으로 형성된 기존의 주거시장에서는 이러한 급속도의 변화를 수용할 수 없어 여전히 소형 주거는 많은 불편함을 감수해야만 하는 열악한 실정이다. 본 연구는 현 사회현상에 주목하고 1인 가구를 위한 주거 계획 시 실내환경 측면에서 고려해야 할 사항들을 도출하는 것에 목적을 두었다. 선행연구들을 바탕으로 1인가구의 생활유형과 실내공간에서의 요구 사항들을 파악하기 위한 설문을 구성하였으며 실제 1인가구를 대상으로 설문조사 하였다. 결과, 현재 1인가구들이 거주하는 소형주거에서는 식사공간, 수납공간 등이 미비하여 공간 만족도가 매우 낮게 나타나는 등 무계획적 원룸형태 공급으로 인한 문제점을 확인 할 수 있었다. 따라서 단순히 숙식을 위한 물리적 공간 공급이 아니라 다양한 라이프스타일을 반영한 계획적 평면개발이 이루어져야 할 것이다. 또한 공간이라는 하드웨어와 1인 주거 간의 커뮤니티 활성화, 고령사회를 반영하여 다양한 연령대 1인 주거를 위한 사회화 프로그램 개발 등 소프트웨어 적 고려도 함께 이루어져야 할 것이다. 본 연구 결과는 물리적, 심리적 전환기에 있는 우리나라 주택시장의 새로운 요구에 대응할 수 있는 기초자료로 활용되어지길 기대한다.

고령화는 국가사회적 최상위 현안문제 (National Agenda)의 하나로, 최근 출산률 저하와 수명 연장에 따라 점차 심화되고 있다. 이는 이미 퇴행성 척추 질환 및 관련 수술이 큰 폭으로 증가되는 현상으로 나타나고 있다. 따라서 고령화 사회를 대비하고 노령 인구의 삶의 질 향상을 위해, 노령 척추 질환에 대한 적절한 진단과 치료, 재활에 도움을 줄 수 있는 가상 척추의 개발이 절실히 요구된다. 본 논문에서는 국가문제해경형 연구사업(NAP)의 일환으로 가상 척추의 기반이 될 인체 척추 정보 데이터베이스를 구축하고 관리하는 시스템을 소개한다.

Ecological villages should be designed not only for simply reducing environmental impact such as energy saving and alternative energy use, resource conservation and circulation, harmony with surrounding environment and nature, but also for encouraging social contact and community activities with the residents, especially the aged people. The aim of this paper is to find the ecological and social design elements for the ecological village planning derived through case studies. The case studies are selected from the environmental Co-housings in Western America, surveyed in the years of 2008 and 2009. The results are as follows; 1. The ecological design elements, although there are some differences in size and type, were found to be basically applied in every ecological villages. 2. The community activities are actively conducted with the participation of the residents based on a variety of programs. The two main purposes of the community activities are strengthening the residents' familiarity with each other and the volunteer services to the local community where they belong.

By population graying, elderly residing problem is risen by social problem. Specially, because residing is occupying many parts in psychological sentimentalize stability of elderly senescence, it is misgovernment that suitable countermeasure is pressing hereupon with governmental interest so that elderly age may can inhabit to suitable residing space. The purposes of this research used content analysis method about elderly residing support policy laying stress on data of elderly residing support policy connection literature, virtue research etc.. and research result is as following ; First, as elderly residing connection equipment is permitted by common people subject operation in government burden gradually in van abroad including our country, supply of elderly equipment is spreading. Second, support about elderly dependent is introducing house priority supply system to financial favors benefit and income tax exemption, aged parents supporter being increasing. Third, through reconstruction and so on of house, real elderly's ashes are developing by support policy. Also, is administering elderly residing support policy by total service that can support elderly aging in place.

Integrated health care system, which is one of the developing solution technologies of IT, BT and NT, could give us new medical environments in future. Health care is one of the most concerned fields in convergence environments. Many studies on the development and application related with health care industry in recent years has been actively. Therefore, in this paper, we described current integrated medical system trends and future works.

The purpose of this study was to describe the policy agenda and alternatives for the home health care system in Korea. The home health care system development was not fully integrated while the medical laws were established in 2000, community health law in 1995, and elderly long-term health insurance law in 2007. Because of the increasing population of people over the age of 65 and dramatically decreasing fertility rate, the burden of various health-care expenses has become a great obstacle for the Korean government. Under these circumstances, the home of home health care system in has taken on an important role under the mandate of the national health care system. The types of home health care system in Korean shows a greater contrast from those utilized in other more industrialized countries, such as, U.S. or Japan. In conclusion, the strategy in overcoming the obstacles to enhance home health care system under the national health system would be developing it as a comprehensive and exchangeable consumer-focused organization.

Lower birth rate and higher elder people are serious social problem in Korea. In 2003, the total birth rate is 1.19 per person, that record is lowest among OECD country. In 2005, Korea has been the aging society with 9.0% in aged population rate. Increasing of aged population results in elder estrangement and confliction with other generations. The social problem can be solved in some degree by improving housing environment and many kinds of welfare program. This study suggests a solution of the problem by applying community space located on ground level floor. The ground level floor of apartment has many physical benefits like connection to the earth, extension, safeness for the aged and child. in case of the National Rental apartment, small residential area and high rate of elder, child, the disabled make the ground level floor useful space for community. According to case study, almost the National Rental apartment hasn't enough facilities supporting various generations and don't supply comfortable environment. So, this study presents how to design the National Rental Apartment's community space located on ground level floor.

Korea has recently entered a rapidly aging society. The problem of the elderly due to the aging society appears in various fields. Problems caused by cognitive deterioration as well as problems caused by physical weakness also cause many problems. Cognitive deterioration causes difficulties in the daily life of the elderly, which negatively affects the quality of life of the elderly. The purpose of this study is to conduct a user analysis for the development of financial education systems which can facilitate daily life activities of cognitively deprived elderly. Through this study, we develop representative elderly cases in which cognitive decline can occur and lay the foundations for the development of financial education contents based on them.

It is expected to change for convergence robotic services according to emergence new communication technologies and cloud computing, etc. Robot industry is evaluated the biggest filed that is possibility to convergence of new IT technology. This paper presents a design framework for robot industry business model on cloud services through the cloud computing and environment of robot industry, features and provide valuable of cloud-based robot service, analysis of customer needs and value chain in the market in an aging society. In addition, we describe the evolution path of the proposed business model in terms of technology development and market. This study is expected to help that cloud and robot services companies when establishing new service model development and marketing strategy.

Universal design has been disseminated as one of major paradigms in the 21st century throughout the world. Its definition and range of application have appeared somewhat differently from countries and cultures. Japan has been coping with aging phenomena in societies population, and now became aged society. Therefore, universal design has been a big social issue and its design development has tendency of focusing on design for the elderly population. Currently, Japanese housing in its aging society has shown various experiments to provide the elderly with safe and supportive environment to maintain and promote quality of their lives in conventional life settings. Korea already began to undergo this aging process, and now it's in aging society. This means especially designers need to show up their creativity to let design function as a means of social intervention. Therefore this research showed the range of universal design characteristics appeared in current Japanese housing market.
