This study aimed to examine the changes in the health status, social network and satisfaction of caregivers as a result of caregiving using a structural equation model. As a result, it was found that caregiving increased the level of depression and decreased the subjective health status in both men and women. The social network and satisfaction were found to differ according to gender. For the women caregivers, caregiving affected their subjective health status and depression. In the case of the men caregivers, the total effect of caregiving on their subjective health was 1.087(p<.05), while the indirect effect was 0.546(p<.05). Also, caregiving affected the subjective health status of the male caregivers through the functional family network as a mediating factor(0.42, p<.01). The results suggest the necessity to take these gender differences into consideration when discussing the health of caregivers. Also, the functional family network needs to be strengthened to prevent the deterioration of the health status of male caregivers.

The aim of this study was to predict the global sports market trend to make developmental and strategic marketing planning for governments, enterprises and scholars. By participating in Delphi, 21 professionals from 12 countries came up with 51 foresights. In addition, the following 7 final results emerged after 3 rounds of discussion. First, integrity issues (e.g., doping and gambling) will increase in the sports industry. Second, the market of youth sports will continue to grow worldwide. Third, the health-oriented sports service will growth, particularly for seniors or people with less wealth. Fourth, the convergence with high-technology, culture and leisure activity will be accelerated. Fifth, mega sports events will receive increasing scrutiny and criticism. Sixth, the leverage of new media (e.g., social media) as well as old media (e.g., TV and magazines) will expand in the sports industry. Finally, globalization, which is similar to the culture phenomenon, will be accelerated in the sports industry.

The rapidly aging population is also increasing the number of dementia patients rapidly. Studies have revealed the early signs of slowing progress. Therefore, dementia patient safety, continuous care, daily living, and health care are becoming more important. In this paper, a smart home care system using smart phones and Bluetooth communication technology was used to monitor the state of dementia patients of based on the results of grading dementia, health care of the dementia patients at home and provide for the safety of the system using motion sensors and gas leak sensors to respond to various emergency situations, such as fire, gas leak protection, and loitering. Using this system, the patient can stay longer in their home due to the nature of Korean culture before admission, while reducing the family's economical, physical and psychological burden and allowing the consultation of specialists through the system by building a database of individuals and providing professional service and specialty care referral agencies through the link.

As the elderly population increases, real-time personal health monitoring is gaining new ground with advances in wireless communications. Such an approach is particularly beneficial to elderly and physically challenged people, as well as those who live alone and are not be able to seek help in case of medical emergencies. The aim of this study is to implement a wearable band which monitors personal vital signs, such as the body temperature and heart rate, and assists with healthcare decisions using a fuzzy logic based decision support system. Since the vital sign data measured from sensors are imprecise and their normal variation with age is nonlinear and not crisp, a fuzzy system is employed to deal with this imprecise or uncertain information. The proposed wearable band is designed to continuously capture and transmit vital signs and healthcare decisions to suitable apps developed for smartphones. In this way, health alerts can be sent to the guardian or caregiver who is registered in the apps.

It is show that increasing of aged and handicapped people requires development of Ubiquitous computing technique to offer the specialized service for handicapped-people. For this, we need a development of Context Awareness and Service Reasoning Technique that the technique is supplied interaction between user and U-environment instead of the old unilateral relation. The old research of context awareness needed probabilistic presentation model like a Bayesian Network based on expert Systems for recognize given circumstance by a domain of uncertain real world. In this article, we define a domain of disorder activity assistant service application and context model based on ontology in diversified environment and minimized intervention of user and developer. By use this context model, we apply the structure learning of Bayesian Network and decide the service and activity to development of application service for handicapped people. Finally, we define the proper Conditional Probability Table of the structured Bayesian Network and if random situation is given to user, then present state variable of Activity and Service by given Causal relation of Bayesian Network based on Conditional Probability Table and it can be result of context awareness.

The demand of the real-time data was promoted by significant development of network and IT technology. In particular, the entry of an aging society and income growth increase the demand for personal health related data which attempt to provide various and evolutional healthcare services by several healthcare institutions. Especially the presentation of the medical examination result is the most basic healthcare services which should be expressed to maximize understanding in personal health records for their own health. However according to absence of systematic visualization framework and visualization model, intuitive understanding of healthcare related data is difficult. Cosequently In this study, customized visualization representation based on the results of medical examination was provided to aviod consistent format for health examinee and establish a variety of data representations.

Globally, U-health services have been increased according to the increase in interests on health managing and the development of information communication technology (ICT) based on increases in advanced ages and chronic disease. Exiting U-health services provide required services and health information monitoring only through counsels and that represent limitations in preventing and managing cardiovascular disease patients like chronic patients. In this paper, we propose of U-health platform based health management service model using context information. In our service model can provide health monitoring, diet, and exercise service using context information of clinical information and wether in U-health platform environment. Service to offer is the specialized service using external content provider of DB. in addition to, doctor can to provide advice information to patient using monitoring service. The proposed service model provides effective services using context information in U-health platform environments to customers and that will improve the health of chronic patients.

After retirement, retirees are exposed to many changes. But, one of the most influential factor on retirement is Social network. Social network is making various relationships with many people. This consists of functional feature and structure feature. This study to systematically investigate social network changes of pre- and post-retirement by using two features. We utilized 2008~2012 'Longitudinal study of ageing' and selected 1,569 retirees above 45 years old as a final subject. This study used STATA 12.0 program for analysing frequency and descriptive statistic. At first, we analyzed personal characteristics and affecting factor on social network of retirees through Panel logit model and fixed effects regression model. Second, we applied multiple panel logit model and fixed effects model to learn factor affecting employment and social network changes. We found that a number of social activities affects social network in the structure feature and support from sons and daughters also influences social network in the functional feature after retirement.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effects of smart construction equipment applied at the construction site of the first smart city in the Korea and derive an application strategy for the utilization of smart construction equipment. To achieve this, aythors examined the practical effects and issues of safety systems and construction systems utilizing machine guidance (MG) technology, which is a representative smart construction equipment used in civil engineering construction sites. Both the MG safety system and MG construction system were found to be sufficiently effective in improving construction productivity. However, there are challenges that need to be addressed, such as the approval process for work results using MG systems, system changes due to frequent replacement of on-site equipment, and usability improvements for elderly on-site workers. The study presented some solutions that have been implemented on-site to address these issues. The utilization effects and issues presented in the study were analyzed through direct feedback from workers and managers who have utilized the MG technology on-site for a considerable period of time. These results can be used as preliminary data for the similar construction projects, considering the limited availability of empirical analysis data for equipment automation.

The present study focused on the status of functional use and demands for cellular phone in the aged. Through a survey of 206 aged people, we asked the present use of UI(User Interface) and problems in use of functions of cellular phone. The survey consist of questions about use of internet and mobil products, receptiveness of various mobil contents and machines, and marketable evaluation. The results showed that great part of elder people used only cellular phone as telephone. However, it appeared that relatively younger people in the participants In survey used more and more various functions of cellular phone such as digital camera. Moreover, according to the situations of health, economy, culture of participants, they demanded more various functions and UI in cellular phone.
