The Effectiveness of Image and Attitude on Extension Brand Loyalty in the Foodservice Industry (확장된 외식브랜드이미지와 브랜드태도가 브랜드충성도에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구)

  • In the severely competitive market, brand extension strategy has become a key strategy to the companies that are trying to expand in the new market and to cut down the marketing cost. In conclusion, following results are deduced. First, hypothesis 1(H-1) refers to the relationship between image of extension brand and attitude of extension brand, and it shows path-coefficients value of 0.43, and t-value of 4.21 which supports the hypothesis statistically. Second, H-2 is the result of the analysis of relationship between attitude of extension brand and loyalty of extension brand and consequently the hypothesis is supported by the path-coefficients value of 0.29 and t-value of 3.08. The results of this study provided very useful information for both foodservice industry and academics. At first, in the theocratical point of view, this study suggests a new concept the foodservice brand extension. Consequently in marketing point of view, the results of this study recommend several strategies of foodservice brand extension using foodservice image, attitude and loyalty.

  • The purpose of this study is to understand interrelationships among the congruence of brand personality of family restaurants with the self image of customers, brand identification, and loyalty. The results showed a positive relationship between congruence of brand personality of family restaurants with the self image of customers and brand identification. However, the congruence of brand personality of family restaurants with the self image of customers does not have a direct effect on brand loyalty, and congruence of self image with a pertinent brand is perceived through brand identification. In addition, it was found that the brand identification of family restaurants has a positive effect on brand loyalty. Limitations and future research directions are also discussed.

  • This paper examines empirically the effect of mileage program in e-Business on brand loyalty, and the mediating role of customers' trust and relational commitment. The results show that customer's benefits and convenience of the program significantly influences positively customer's trust. In addition, customer's trust also influences positively relational commitment, and relational commitment significantly influences positively brand loyalty. Thus, trust and relational commitment should be considered in the mileage program to improve the brand loyalty of internet shopping mall. Implications and limitations of this study are suggested.

  • LG Household & Healthcare has achieved its goals of revenue growth and customer loyalty increase by applying new CRM strategy of OHUI brand, which is ranked in the middle of department store cosmetic channel. OHUI has set up detailed CRM strategy in order to solve AS-Is issues found by systematical review. First OHUI has gained critical mass and increased customer loyalty by developing customized loyalty program. OHUI also simplified customer types in order for employees to identify the customer type and apply the incentive program. As a result, the company has maximized the power of execution of its new strategy. Finally, OHUI has stabilized CRM by sharing best practice and implementing KPI. Throughout a series of CRM initiatives, OHUI has marked outstanding revenue growth and market share comparing to its competitors.

  • At this point in time when the percentage of foreign consumers as well as domestic consumers are being increased in domestic open market users due to the recent interest and promotion on the open market, the purposes of this study are as follows. First, the relationship between open market brand personality, satisfaction and brand loyalty will be clarified targeting all Korean consumers and Chinese consumers using domestic open market. Second, whether there is difference in the effect of domestic open market brand personality on customer satisfaction and brand loyalty between Korean consumers and Chinese consumers will be compared. The results are as follows. First, as a result of testing the study hypothesis targeting the open market users, in other words targeting all Korean consumers and Chinese consumers, only the ability among brand personality dimensions did not have positive effect on the satisfaction toward open market. Other than that, it could be confirmed that the reliability, sincerity and familiarity, etc are important influence factors in forming satisfaction toward open market. Next, as a result of testing whether there is difference in the effect of domestic open market brand personality on customer satisfaction and brand loyalty between Korean consumers and Chinese consumers, it was shown as having difference. In other words, the Korean consumers were shown as not having positive significant effect in the relationship between the ability among brand personality and satisfaction toward open market while all other brand personality dimensions were shown as having positive effect on the satisfaction toward open market. It could be found that if the satisfaction toward open market is high, the brand loyalty toward open market also gets high.

  • Traditionally intangible assets have been neglected in measuring management performance in the area of business. However as knowledge based times is coming, the importance of intangible assets have been evermore attentive then before. The purpose of the study is to explore the relationship between management performance and intangible assets of resort condominium in Korea. This paper categorizes intangible assets into customer relations asset, cooperative business partner asset, and service operations competence based asset and find relationship between these assets with management performance.

  • This study conducted to examine how consumer's perception of COO(Country of (Brand) Origin) image affects brand association knowledge, how coo image and brand association knowledge affect buying intention, how these relationship differs in hedonic and utilitarian products and the moderating effect of consumer's ethnocentrism in the influence of brand association to buying intension. The results indicated the followings: First, it was significant COO Image affect brand association knowledge, more strong significant in Hedonic products than in utilitarian products. But it was not supported COO Image affect buying intension significantly. Second, Brand association knowledge affected buying intention significantly. And the last, consumer's ethnocentrism mediated between brand association knowledge and buying intention strong significantly.

  • This study examines the impact of consumers' subjective perception on the quality loyalty of the Internet of things, explores academic innovation schemes, and puts forward business strategies for on-site optimization of the industry. The research methods use online survey methods for Chinese consumers who have used or bought Xiaomi IoT products. The results show that the inherent attributes of Internet of things products have an impact on brand image, and brand image has an impact on customer loyalty. Brand image shows complete media effect in the relationship between hyper-connectivity and customer loyalty of Internet of things products. For the enterprises that develop the Internet of things, obtaining the perceived brand image has a very important strategic significance in expanding the loyal customer base.

  • Brand community refers to a group of consumers who are passionate about the brand, and actively participate in enhancing the brand value. This study examines the impact of brand community experience on brand satisfaction, brand trust, and brand value co-creation, focusing on BTS's fan community, 'ARMY'. The results show that the value of aesthetic sensitivity, self-consistency, and intellectual fulfillment, obtained through brand community experiences, had a positive impact on brand satisfaction and brand trust, and brand value co-creation. The implications of this study are as follows: First, rather than company-centered traditional marketing campaign strategies, future brand marketing strategies should focus on nurturing brand communities through which encourage emotional communication and solidarity between consumers and companies. Second, in order to enhance brand community experiences, it is necessary to provide various opportunities to satisfy customers' intellectual curiosity and self-consistency as well as sensory stimuli related to the brand.

  • Customer relationship management (CRM) comprises a set of processes and nabbing systems supporting a business strategy to build long term, profitable relationships with specific customers. Customer data and information technology(IT) tools form the foundation upon which any successful CRM strategy is built. Recently, the Internet rectifying this life, IT technology and the rapid development taking place over the Internet, customer relationship management, e-CRM has emerged. The purpose of this research is to investigate the important elements of e-CRM which in fluence the customer satisfaction and the brand loyalty in e-shopping mall. And this study is to investigate the relationship between customer satisfaction and repurchase intention and word of mouth intention.
