A Multi-Objective Shortest Paths Finding Considering Multi-Class in A Multi-Modal Transit Network for Providing User-Customized Route Information (사용자 맞춤형 대중교통 경로정보제공을 위한 다계층의 다목적 경로탐색기법 연구)

  • Mass transit information should contribute many benefits to users. Especially transportation information technology is developing highly with information technology in Korea recently. Hereafter it is expected to provide customized transportation information to users individually with the advent of ubiquitous age in earnest. This public transportation information service can be realized by path finding algorithms in public transportation networks including travel and transfer attributes. In this research, multi objectives such as travel time, transfer time, and number of transfer and so on are constructed with the primary facts influencing users. Moreover, the method reducing user's path finding alternatives arbitrarily is proposed by selecting the best alternative which provides maximum utility to users among non dominated paths. Therefore, the ultimate goal of this study proposes a multi objective shortest paths finding algorithm which can take into account multiple user classes in a transit network with multiple travel modes. The proposed algorithm is demonstrated based on the two case studies - a small toy network and the large-scaled Seoul Metropolitan subway network.

  • 무선 멀티 홉 네트워크는 기지국 없이 중간의 무선 단말기를 경유해서 메세지를 전송하므로 무선 단말기의 전력 상태나 이동에 따라 그 토폴로지가 자주 변한다. 따라서 목적지까지 경로를 탐색하고 유지하기 위해 효율적인 경로 탐색 기법에 대한 연구가 필요하다. 그러나 경로 탐색 과정은 경로 탐색 메세지를 네트워크 전체로 전파하는 플러딩으로 인해 네트워크의 처리율을 크게 감소시킨다. 플러딩으로 발생하는 트래픽을 억제하기 위해 제안된 선별적인 플러딩 기법 중 이웃 노드 정보에 기반 한 접근 방식은 비교적 정확하게 재전송에 필요한 노드를 선별할 수 있으나 HELLO 패킷을 주기적으로 발생시켜야 한다. 본 논문은 이웃 노드의 맥(MAC) 계층에서 발생하는 제어 메세지를 청취해서 이웃 노드의 트래픽 정보를 수집하고 이것을 이용해서 재전송에 필요한 노드를 선별하는 기법을 제안 한다.

  • 무선 센서 네트워크에서는 에너지 소모를 최소화 하는 것이 매우 중요한 연구 과제이며, 많은 연구들을 통하여 효율적인 방법들이 제안 되었고, 이 방법들은 대부분 단일 계층 상에서의 최적화에 초점이 맞춰져 있었다. 본 논문에서는 네트워크 계층의 정보를 이용하는 새로운 MAC 프로토콜을 제안한다. 여기서 제안하는 프로토콜은 MAC 계층의 송/수신 단의 비활성화 상태를 최대화 하고 제어 패킷의 수를 최소화 하는 방법으로 클러스터 기반의 경로 탐색 기법을 이용한다.

  • When traveling on real road network, it generally takes less travel time in a near straight path than a zig-zaged path with same source and destination. In order to making a left(right/u) turn, the delay should be required to decrease the speed. The traffic signal waiting time of left(right/u) turn is probably longer than straight driving. In this paper, we revise the previous hierarchical path finding algorithm to reduce the number of turns. The algorithm proposed in this paper complied with a hierarchical $A^*$ algorithm, but has a distinct strategy for edge weight. We define an edge that makes a turn as a turn-edge and give the turn-edge lower weight to maintain the straightness of the whole path.

  • 본 논문은 현재 경찰청 및 각 지자체의 주도하에 수도권을 중심으로 새롭게 보급되고 있는 도시 교통 정보 시스템 (UTIS)과 국토해양부 및 한국 도로 공사 등을 중심으로 한 DSRC 기반의 교통 정보 시스템을 모두 활용하는 시스템 및 효율적인 경로탐색 알고리즘을 제안한다. 도시 교통 정보 시스템은 무선랜과 같은 프로토콜을 이용해서, 기존 단방향 방식인 TPEG의 주요 도로 위주의 제한된 교통 정보 단점을 극복하고 많은 지선를 포함한 교통 정보를 제공하고 있다. 그러나 대부분의 운전자들이 단지 도심 내에서만 운전하는 것이 아니고 고속도로 등을 통해서 장거리 운전도 하기 때문에 고속도로 상의 DSRC 기반의 서비스도 동일 단말에서 지원해야 하나의 단말에서 다양한 서비스를 지원받을 수 있다. 따라서 본 논문의 두 개의 다른 통신 모듈의 통합된 단말 시스템을 제안하고 기존에 제안된 UTIS 기반의 분산 경로 탐색 방식을 DSRC 기반의 고속도로 교통 정보를 활용해서 새로운 경로탐색 알고리즘을 제안한다. 또한 향후 추가적으로 이루어질 연구와 현재 다른 주체들의 주도로 이루어지는 서비스를 제도적으로 보완할 수 있는 방안도 제시한다.

  • In IP-USN for replacing the sensor network based on Zigbee by IP-based it, routing and the address assignment technique for sensor node are important focuses. But, there is a weak point in existing hierarchical routings. It is that all paths must be searched because the end node isn't considered. And the end node based muting is not sufficient in the mobile sensor network environment because it supports the only simple-path-search. Hereupon, this thesis suggests ComHRP(Complement HRP) that have the only merits of existing methods. The address assignment technique and search method are also proposed. ComHRP simplifies the organization of sensor networks and reduces network complexity. Also, It can efficiently deal with restructuring networks for the unpredictable ubiquitous sensor network feature.

Multiple Path-Finding Algorithm in the Centralized Traffic Information System (중앙집중형 도로교통정보시스템에서 다중경로탐색 알고리즘)

  • The centralized traffic information system is to gather and analyze real-time traffic information, to receive traffic information request from user, and to send user processed traffic information such as a path finding. Position information, result of destination search, and other information. In the centralized traffic information system, a server received path-finding requests from many clients and must process clients requests in time. The algorithm of multiple path-finding is needed for a server to process clients request, effectively in time. For this reason, this paper presents a heuristic algorithm that decreases time to compute path-finding requests. This heuristic algorithm uses results of the neighbor nodes shortest path-finding that are computed periodically. Path-finding results of this multiple path finding algorithm to use results of neighbor nodes shortest path-finding are the same as a real optimal path in many cases, and are a little different from results of a real optimal path in non-optimal path. This algorithm is efficiently applied to the general topology and the hierarchical topology such as traffic network. The computation time of a path-finding request that uses results of a neighbor nodes shortest path-finding is 50 times faster than other algorithms such as one-to-one label-setting and label-correcting algorithms. Especially in non-optimal path, the average error rate is under 0.1 percent.

  • Reliability is considered a particularly important design factor for systems that have critical results once a failure occurs in a system, such as trains, airplanes, and passenger ships. The reliability of the system can be improved in several ways, but in a system that requires considerable reliability, the redundancy of parts is efficient in improving the system reliability. In the case of duplicating parts to improve reliability, the kind of parts and the number of duplicating parts should be determined under the system reliability, part costs, and resources. This study examined the redundancy allocation of multi-level systems with serial structures. This paper describes the definition of a multi-system and how to optimize the kind of parts and number of duplications to maximize the system reliability. To optimize the redundancy, the cuckoo search algorithm was applied. The search procedure, the solution representation and the development of the neighborhood solution were proposed to optimize the redundancy allocation of a multi-level system. The results of numerical experiments were compared with the genetic algorithm and cuckoo search algorithm.

Enhancing Retrieval Performance for Hierarchical Compact Binary Tree (계층형 집약 이진 트리의 검색 성능 개선)

  • Several studies have been proposed to improve storage space efficiency by expressing binary trie data structure as a linear binary bit string. Compact binary tree approach generated using one binary trie increases the key search time significantly as the binary bit string becomes very long as the size of the input key set increases. In order to reduce the key search range, a hierarchical compact binary tree technique that hierarchically expresses several small binary compact trees has been proposed. The search time increases proportionally with the number and length of binary bit streams. In this paper, we generate several binary compact trees represented by full binary tries hierarchically. The search performance is improved by allowing a path for the binary bit string corresponding to the search range to be determined through simple numeric conversion. Through the performance evaluation using the worst time and space complexity calculation, the proposed method showed the highest performance for retrieval and key insertion or deletion. In terms of space usage, the proposed method requires about 67% ~ 68% of space compared to the existing methods, showing the best space efficiency.
