An Non-Scan DFT Scheme for RTL Circuit Datapath (RTL 회로의 데이터패스를 위한 비주사 DFT 기법)

  • In this paper, An efficient non-scan DFT method for datapaths described in RTL is proposed. The proposed non-scan DFT method improves testability of datapaths based on hierarchical testability analysis regardless to width of the datapath. It always guarantees higher fault efficiency and faster test pattern generation time with little hardware overhead than previous methods. The experimental result shows the superiority of the proposed method of test pattern generation time, application time, and area overhead compared to the scan method.

  • Mobile IPv6 (MIPv6) is a host-based protocol supporting global mobility while Proxy Mobile IPv6 (PMIPv6) is a network-based protocol supporting localized mobility. This paper makes its focus on how to reduce the longer delay and extra cost arising from the combination of authentication, authorization and accounting (AAA) and PMIPv6 further. Firstly, a novel authentication scheme (Proxy-AAA) is proposed, which supports fast handover mode and forwarding mode between different local mobility anchors (LMAs). Secondly, a cost analysis model is established based on Proxy-AAA. From the theoretical analysis, it could be noted that the cost is affected by average arrival rate and residence time.

  • 본 논문에서는 복합명사에 대한 색인 방법을 다각적으로 적용하여 계층적 결함 문서 클러스터링 시스템의 결과를 분석하고자 한다. 우선 한글 색인 엔진과 HAC(Hierarchical Agglumerative Clustering) 엔진에 대해서 설명하고 한글 색인엔진에서 제공되는 세가지 복합명사 분석 모드에 대해서 설명한다. 또한 구현된 클러스터링 엔진의 특징과 속도 향상을 위한 기법 등을 설명한다. 실험에서는 다양한 요소를 가지고 클러스터링된 문서 집합에 대한 분석 결과를 보인다. 실험 결과에 대한 분석에서 복합명사에 대한 색인 방법이 문서 클러스터링의 결과에 직접적인 영향을 준다는 것을 보여준다.

  • 문맥 광고에서 계층적인 분류 트리를 활용하여 의미적으로 연관된 광고를 매칭하는 기법이 소개되었다. 하지만 기존 기법은 계층 구조의 특성에 기인하여 임의의 광고의 연관성을 측정할 때에는 적합하지 않다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위하여 본 논문에서는 분류 트리를 유사도 그래프로 변환한 후 개인화된 페이지 랭크를 응용한 링크 분석 기법을 적용하여 광고의 의미적 연관성을 측정하는 기법을 제안한다. 실험을 통하여 제안 기법이 문맥 광고에서 광고 매칭의 정확도 성능을 향상시킴을 확인하였다.

A novel clustering method for examining and analyzing the intellectual structure of a scholarly field (지적 구조 분석을 위한 새로운 클러스터링 기법에 관한 연구)

  • Recently there are many bibliometric studies attempting to utilize Pathfinder networks(PFNets) for examining and analyzing the intellectual structure of a scholarly field. Pathfinder network scaling has many advantages over traditional multidimensional scaling, including its ability to represent local details as well as global intellectual structure. However there are some limitations in PFNets including very high time complexity. And Pathfinder network scaling cannot be combined with cluster analysis, which has been combined well with traditional multidimensional scaling method. In this paper, a new method named as Parallel Nearest Neighbor Clustering (PNNC) are proposed for complementing those weak points of PFNets. Comparing the clustering performance with traditional hierarchical agglomerative clustering methods shows that PNNC is not only a complement to PFNets but also a fast and powerful clustering method for organizing informations.

  • Nowaday, The tendency of complexity and extension of construction fields increase the need for efficient works managements like a construction management. Consequently, by the introduction of Decision-Making Theories, researches for improving construction field's efficiencies are actively performed. Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Process method is invented, so that describes a decision maker's ambiguous linguistic judgment with fuzzy numbers. but most of researches on Fuzzy-AHP use symmetric triangular fuzzy function for estimating each evaluation item with the consequence that exact judgments are impossible. those limits are caused by the point that employed fuzzy ranking methods can not support dissymmetric fuzzy numbers. In this research, we aims to overcome this problem with R.P.R(Relative Preference Ratio) method and suggest improved Fuzzy-AHP method which can use dissymmetric fuzzy triangular numbers.

  • To achieve flexible visual contents adaptation for multimedia communications, the ISO/IEC MPEG & ITU-T VCEG form the JVT to develop an SVC amendment for the H.264/AVC standard. JVT uses inter-layer prediction that can improve the rate-distortion efficiency of the enhancement layer. But inter-layer prediction causes computational complexity to be increased. In this paper, we propose a fast mode decision for inter frame coding. It makes use of the correlation between optimized prediction mode and its RD cost. Experimental results show that the proposed schemes save up to 38% of encoding time with a negligible coding loss and bit-rate increase.

  • The multi-leveling technique that stores multiple bits in a single memory cell has significantly improved the density of NAND flash memory along with shrinking processes. However, because of the side effects of the multi-leveling technique, the average write performance of MLC NAND flash memory is degraded more than twice that of SLC NAND flash memory. In this paper, we introduce existing cross-layer optimization techniques proposed to improve the performance of MLC NAND flash-based storages, and propose a new integration technique that overcomes the limitations of existing techniques by exploiting their complementarity. By fully exploiting the performance asymmetry in MLC NAND flash devices at the flash translation layer, the proposed technique can handle many write requests with the performance of SLC NAND flash devices, thus significantly improving the performance of NAND flash-based storages. Experimental results show that the proposed technique improves performance 39% on average over individual techniques.

  • Layered video multicast such as RLM Receiver-driven layered multicast) is a premising technique for delivering streaming video to a set of heterogeneous receivers over ALM(Application Layer Multicast) as well as over IP multicast. However, this approach may suffer from unnecessary fluctuation of video quality due to overlapped and failed join-experiments. Though a shared teaming scheme was introduced to resolve these problems, it may cause high control overhead and slow convergence problem when used with ALM. In this paper, we propose a new shared learning scheme for ALM-based layered video multicast which reduces control overhead and convergence latency while keeping the number of fluctuation reasonably small. The simulation results show that the proposed scheme performs better than an ALM-based layered video multicast with shared learning in terms of control overhead and convergence latency.

  • To efficiently analyze complex and voluminous data, OLAP systems increasingly provide functionalities for visual exploration of the data allowing end-users to navigate the desired view of the data cube. This paper only deals with data cubes whose schemas represented like the exclusive symmetric hierarchy which is not addressed by current OLAP implementations. This paper presents a conceptual classification of abstraction hierarchies, and an approach to navigating data cubes with a hierarchical visualization technique. The hierarchical visualization technique is developed by using the transitive closure of a binary relation. The approach is exemplified using a real-world study from the domain of national license administration.
