우리나라가 외환위기를 극복하는 과정에서 경제의 구조개혁과 글로벌화를 위해 많은 제도와 법체제가 새로이 도입되었습니다. 그래서 정부의 경제정책 보도자료 등에도 종전에는 들어보지 못한 낯선 용어들이 많이 등장하고 있지만 관련 전문가가 아니면 용어의 의미를 의해하기가 쉽지 않아 많은 분들이 어려움을 겪고 있습니다. 이에 따라 여러 경제부처에서 추진하고 있는 정책과 관련된 용어 중에서도 사용빈도가 높은 용어들을 수시로 소개하여 본지 독자들의 경제정책에 대한 이해를 돕고자 합니다.

지식경제부 기술표준원은 최근 책의 명칭 및 편집 일반용어의 KS(KS X 0003)표준을 제정, 발표했다. 동 표준의 연구는 상록문화정보연구소(이사장 전영표)가 맡았다. 이 표준은 책의 외부 명칭 26종, 내부 명칭 21종, 본문 편집 판면 명칭 27종, 출판 편집 일반용어 100종을 선정하여 표준화하였다. 기술표준원은 "이 표준은 컴퓨터 활용 시 가장 많이 쓰이는 용어들을 먼저 대상으로 삼았으며, 출판 인쇄 분야에서 활용 빈도가 높은 용어를 우선 선정하였고, 용어의 명칭과 정의를 명확하게 하였을 뿐만 아니라 외래어의 영향을 많이 받고 있는 용어를 주 대상으로 삼았으며, 단체나 개인에 따라 달리 쓰이는 용어를 선정하여 명칭을 표준화했다"고 밝혔다. 다음은 기술표준원이 제정한 편집 일반 용어다.

The purpose of this study is to derive implications for the development of the next curriculum and textbooks by comparing and analyzing the textbooks of the 2015 revised high school mathematics curriculum <Mathematics for Economics> and social studies curriculum <Economics>. In the <Mathematics for Economics> textbooks, economic terms and function notations should be introduced. Additionally, the use of graphs for economic-related functions is different from the use of graphs in mathematics in the <Mathematics for Economics> textbooks. For these reasons, the usage of economic terms, function notations, and function graphs covered in the <Mathematics for Economics> textbooks were compared and analyzed with the usage in the <Economics> textbooks. In the <Mathematics for Economics> textbooks, economic terms that are highly related to mathematics are defined and presented. Contrary to the conventions of mathematics and economics, the function notations in the <Mathematics for Economics> textbooks were used inconsistently because uppercase and lowercase letters were mixed in the function notations. Function graphs in the <Mathematics for Economics> textbooks had differences in the range of values represented by the variables regarding axes and scaling. The <Mathematics for Economics> textbooks did not provide a mathematical interpretation of the translation or slope. In the course of <Mathematics for Economics>, it is necessary to specify considerations for teaching and learning, and assessment in the curriculum to promote students' understanding of mathematics and economics. The descriptions in the curriculum document and textbooks of <Mathematics for Economics> should be supplemented to provide learning opportunities for mathematical interpretation of economics-related contents.

정보통신이 국가경제발전에 차지하는 선도적 역할과 기반산업이란 인식이 확산됨에 따라 이 분야의 종사자 뿐만 아니라 일반인들의 관심이 날로 증대되고 있다. 더우기 정보통신산업의 개방화, 자유화 되어가는 추세에 따라 통신산업은 선진국과의 경쟁산업으로서 국가경제에 차지하는 비중 또한 점증되고 있다. 한국정보통신진흥협회에서 발간한 정보통신용어해설집을 토대로 하여 조금이나마 정보통신용어에 쉽게 접근하고자 본고에 게재하고자 하며, 우선 첫번째로 3회에 걸쳐 데이터베이스용어에 대하여 알아본다.

This study compared 431 acoustic terminology of South Korean industrial standards and North Korean national standards based on IEC 60050-801:1994 international standards. In addition, this study attempted to integrate acoustic terminology between the two Koreas. There were 139 (32.3 %) AA types with exactly the same form of terminology, 35 (8.1 %) Aa types with different spellings due to differences in linguistic norms, and 257 (59.6 %) AB types with completely different forms. Morphologically, there were more than twice as many different types of terminology as the same type. In the integration of acoustic terminology with different forms, 178 (61 %) North Korean terminology and 76 (26 %) South Korean terminology were adopted. we would like to overcome the limitations of this study through the following suggestions. First, the government should support academic exchanges between the two Koreas and encourage the establishment of common standards for acoustic terminology. Second, efforts should be made to share acoustic terminology data between the two Koreas and publish an integrated acoustic terminology dictionary. Third, South and North Korea should jointly launch a terminology committee to make efforts to revise international standards together.

본 논문에서는 정보처리에 관한 일반 모형으로 제기된 안-밖 합치도원리 모형(김정호, 1986; Kim, 1986b, 1991)을 통해서 컴퓨터 용어의 효율적인 한글화를 위한 하나의 접근방법을 제시하였다. 안-밖 합치도는 인간의 정보처리 전반에 걸쳐서 인간이 주어진 환경에서 특정 정보를 구성함에 있어서 갖는 정보처리의 좋음 혹은 쉬움을 나타내는 개념이다. 여기서 중요한 것은 안-밖 합치도가 구성할 특정 정보에 상대적이라는 점이며 안-밖 합치도를 측정할 때에는 어떤 정보에 관심이 있는가의 목적을 명백히 해야 한다. 컴퓨터 용어의 효율적 한글화는 안-밖 합치도원리 모형의 관점에서 볼 때, 특정 목적을 위하여, 만들어진 한글 컴퓨터 용어와 그 용어의 사용자 간의 안-밖 합치도를 높이고자 하는 작업이라고 할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 컴퓨터 용어의 한글화에 있어서 고려될 수 있는 목적들을 크게 경제적 목적, 문화적 목적, 및 심미적 목적 등으로 나누어 고찰하였다. 끝으로 각 목적에 따른 실제적인 연구방법을 소개하였다.

As socio-economic paradigms have been moving towards the knowledge-based capitalism from the industrial capitalism, it is obvious that research on industrial agglomeration and regional innovation has been explosively increased. However, there is a contradictory tendency that the terms and concepts, which are related to industrial agglomeration, have became less clear and more fuzzy. In this sense, this paper attempts to tackle and reconsider the concept, typology and theories of agglomeration and (or) cluster in economic geography. The main claims are as follows. Firstly, the terms and concepts related to industrial agglomeration and cluster need to be clear. It seems to be that cluster is received as an umbrella concept of agglomerations all-embracing the varieties of a geographical concentration of industry. However, the authors claim that the cluster concept should be part of the diverse types of industrial agglomeration. Secondly, the tendency of a less clear definition on agglomeration and cluster could make it difficult to identify the types of agglomeration being in the forms of diversity. Such a tendency would result in a misguided understanding and interpretation of a typology of agglomeration. Finally and most importantly, as perspectives or theories that are associated with industrial agglomeration and cluster show increasingly a propensity of convergence, it is problematic that related theories and perspectives lose their own identity and distinctiveness.

인터넷이 폭 넓게 보급되어 개인의 의견을 개진할 기회가 확대됨에 따라 정치, 경제 등의 사안이나 제품 기업의 이미지, 공인에 대한 긍정.부정의 글을 개진할 수 있게 되었다. 이러한 현상에 따라 기업, 제품, 혹은 공공의 분야에서 일반 개인들이 어떻게 생각하는가에 대한 분석 및 자료수집의 필요성이 높아지고 있다. 감성용어 문서분류시스템은 문서의 내용 중 감성기반의 용어들에 기반하여 이에 대한 패턴을 정의하고 이에 대응하는 범주에 문서를 자동으로 할당하는 작업으로써 효율적인 정보 관리 및 검색을 가능하게 한다. 하지만 자동문서 분류를 하기 위해서는 방대한 양의 데이터를 수집 보관하기 위한 분산 환경이 반드시 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 감성기반 문서분류 시스템을 위한 감성용어 추출 및 긍정, 부정의 패턴을 검색해 자동 문서분류를 위해 RTI(Run Time Infrastructure)를 통한 분산 시스템 환경으로 구성하였다.
