In the glocal era, the competitiveness of local authorities leads to national competitiveness. Even though they have competitively adopted slogans to stay competitive, the process has not been systematic. The goal of this study is to provide basic data needed to develop and utilize urban brand slogans effectively. In terms of a research scope, 48 slogans currently in use by 24 local authorities of Gyeongsangbuk-do as of April 2020 were chosen. Concerning the lingual representation of such slogans, diverse languages such as Korean, English and Sino-Korean have been used. In terms of meaning of meaning and material type, there was a lack of coherence among the slogans. In addition, they were poor in representing identity, and abstract image upgrade types were commonly found. It is anticipated that the study results would make a contribution to the development of urban brand slogans and value generation.

The purpose of this study is to explore educational consumer's satisfaction on general high school's educational program and preference on main strategy for drawing out some strategy for consolidating educational capacity of general high school which is in disadvantage due to high school diversity and special high school promotion policy and draw out some suggestions in long and short term perspective for consolidating the capacity of general high school in Gyeongsangbuk-do. The study analyzed responses from 31 general high schools in Gyeongsangbuk-do, 3,383 parents, and 7,953 students. The results showed that Generally the satisfaction on program in educational capacity consolidation policy is medium level and student satisfaction is low. For satisfaction, the satisfaction on small-size school's educational program is high which means that small-size school's cooperative school organizational culture is important. The preference of practice strategy is significantly different by school size and position. In the future, the autonomy for strategy establishment in each school for reflecting educational consumer's various demand in making general high school's educational capacity consolidation strategy should be enlarged.

At-risk students are increasing because of developmental trait of adolescence, dissolution of family, poverty, and study stress. These risk situations influence individual student and society negatively. The purpose of this study is explore the reason of occurrence of at-risk student and draw out improvement direction of Gyeongsangbuk-do at-risk student support policy based on current situation of at-risk control and support system implementing in Gyeongsangbuk-do. The improvement ways based on the analysis of Gyeongsangbuk-do's at-risk student support strategy are as the followings. First, it is the construction of at-risk student's prevention and early discovery system. Second, it is the construction of educational safety network for guiding discovered at-risk student, Third, it is the connection with family and community.

The Gilan-Cheongsong area, which is in contact with Yeongyang and Uiseong Blocks of Gyeongsang Basin, Korea, consists of Precambrian metamorphic rocks, Triassic Cheongsong granite, Cretaceous sedimentary rocks(Iljik, Hupyeongdong, Jeomgok Formations), and Cretaceous igneous rocks(andesite, quartz porphyry, felsite). In this area are developed faults trending in (W)NW, NNW, ENE, NS, (N)NE directions which are representative in the Gyeongsang Basin. We analyzed the geometric and kinematic characteristics of fracture systems to inquire into movement history and sense of these faults in this area. This study suggests that these faults were mainly strike-slip movement. The orientations of fracture sets show ENE, NNW, (W)NW, (N)NE, NS in descending order of frequency. Their prolongation presents (W)NW, NNW, ENE, (N)NE, NS in descending order of predominance, and also agrees with that of faults in this area. The development sequence and movement sense of fracture sets are summarized as follows; (1) (W)NW: dextral shearing $\rightarrow$ (2) (W)NW and NNW: conjugate shearing(the former: dextral, the latter: sinistral) $\rightarrow$ (3) NNW: dextral shearing $\rightarrow$ (4) (W)NW: sinistral shearing $\rightarrow$ (5) ENE: dextral shearing $\rightarrow$ (6) ENE and NS: conjugate shearing(the former: sinistral, the latter: dextral) $\rightarrow$ (7) (N)NE: sinistral shearing, and this result is closely associated with the development sequence and movement sense of faults developed in this area.

경상북도 예천군에서 영주시 방향으로 가는 28번 국도 변에 위치한 예천천문과학문화센터(예천 '별' 천문대)는 '별' 천문대와 고천문학 및 기타 천문학 관련 전시물이 있는 야외교육장, 숙박시설, 2007년에 공사가 시작 될 예천우주환경체험시설 등을 갖춘 최초의 "Astronomy & Space Park(천문우주공원)"이라 할 수 있다.

경상북도 서부에 위치한 김천(金泉)은 예로부터 역을 둔 교통의 요충지였으며 이후 경부선 첡도와 경부고속도로의 건설과 함께 비약적인 발전을 거듭했다. 문화의 고장 김천은 소백산맥 자락인 대덕산과 황악산에서 흘러내린 풍부한 물과 바람이 적당하여 일찍이 포도와 자두, 참외와 같은 원예시설농업이 발달했다. 특히 포도와 자두는 그 생산량에 있어 전국대비 13%와 30%를 각각 차지하는 김천의 대표적인 농특산물로서 그 명성이 잘 알려져 있다.
