This study aims to investigate the flora of Mt. Gaya National Park, especially focused on the forested wetland vegetation of Danji-bong area. The flora of Mt. Gaya was investigated from April in 2003 to October in 2004. Vascular plants of this area consist of total 465 taxa, 4 hybrids, 12 forma, 75 varieties, 1 subspecies, 373 species, 268 genera, 91 families. It corresponds to 11.4% of totally 4,071 taxa appeared in Korea. Korean endemic plants were composed 11 families, 15 genera, 14 species, 1 variety and totaling 15 taxa. And also actual vegetation structures were analyzed the newly founded forested wetland and natural population Ajuga spectabilis on the Danji-bong area using the vegetation and the species composition by tree layer.
Statistics on the urban mining industry is the essential information to develop the urban mining industry systematically and the prerequisite way to understand its related trends. Status on domestic urban mining industry was thus investigated through the integrated method which uses both the top-down way based on the national statistics utilization and the bottom-up way based on field data gathering. Results indicated that the scale of metal resources produced through domestic urban mine was 19.6 trillion won, which corresponds to approximately 22 percent of metal demand in korea. The number of firms for urban mining was 917, and they are mostly placed in metropolitan area and Gyeongsang province. It was also found that about 58 percent of urban mining firms was in small business level less than 10 employees. Compared to the results in 2009, the number of urban mining companies in 2014 generally increased, and that of rare metal companies grew up significantly. This study is particularly different from the conventional statistics investigation on the point of the actual scale findings of metal resources based on the field data.

Job satisfaction is the primary factor in determining happiness, so people change jobs when they aren't satisfied. In the case of insurance solicitors, high turnover rates imply low job satisfaction. Job stress impacts job satisfaction, and job stress is particularly prominent for insurance solicitors whose job involves working with customers face- to- face. The purpose of this study is to investigate factors influencing job satisfaction for insurance solicitors. Participants in this study consisted of 245 insurance solicitors from 3 insurance company located in Seoul, Kyonggi province and Kyongsang province. Data was collected from self-administrated questionnaires and analyzed using independent t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's Correlation Coefficient, and multiple regression. Job satisfaction showed a significant correlation with dysfunctional customer behavior, job stress, and ability to cope with stress. The main factors of job stress, stress coping ability, and income level had significant influence on job satisfaction for insurance solicitors. The explained variance for job satisfaction was 34%. These findings provide empirical evidence for the importance of job stress and stress coping variables in job satisfaction for insurance solicitors. This study aims to assist in predicting insurance solicitor's job satisfaction.

In July 2021, UNCTAD classified Korea as a developed country. After the Korean War in the 1950s, economic development was promoted despite difficult conditions, resulting in epoch-making national growth. However, in order to respond to the rapidly changing global economy, it is necessary to continuously study the domestic industrial ecosystem and prepare strategies for continuous change and growth. This study analyzed the industrial ecosystem of the automobile industry where it is possible to obtain transaction data between companies by applying complexity spatial network analysis. For data, 295 corporate data(node data) and 607 transaction data (link data) were used. As a result of checking the spatial distribution by geocoding the address of the company, the automobile industry-related companies were concentrated in the Seoul metropolitan area and the Southeastern(Dongnam) region. The node importance was measured through degree centrality, betweenness centrality, closeness centrality, and eigenvector centrality, and the network structure was confirmed by identifying density, distance, community detection, and assortativity and disassortivity. As a result, among the automakers, Hyundai Motor, Kia Motors, and GM Korea were included in the top 15 in 4 indicators of node centrality. In terms of company location, companies located in the Seoul metropolitan area were included in the top 15. In terms of company size, most of the large companies with more than 1,000 employees were included in the top 15 for degree centrality and betweenness centrality. Regarding closeness centrality and eigenvector centrality, most of the companies with 500 or less employees were included in the top 15, except for automakers. In the structure of the network, the density was 0.01390522 and the average distance was 3.422481. As a result of community detection using the fast greedy algorithm, 11 communities were finally derived.
In order to control disease caused by multi-drug resistant bacteria in the aquaculture, the use of veterinary antibiotics, which are prohibited to fish, is increasing, instead of the existing fisheries antibiotics. Among them, tiamulin is illegally used in some cultured fish because it exhibits effective antibacterial activity against Gram-positive bacteria. To prevent unauthorized use, treatment of fish should be accompanied by a prescription from veterinarians or fisheries disease managers through research on fish of tiamulin. Tiamulin was injected intramuscularly at 5, 10 and 15 mg kg-1 for the streptococcus-infected starry flounder, but did not show any therapeutic effect. Oral administration at a concentration of 15 and 30 mg kg-1 was similarly ineffective. The concentrations of 30 and 60 mg kg-1 resulted in death due to toxicity of antibiotics. Therefore, it is inappropriate to treat antibiotics with streptococcus-infected starry flounder.
A new sesame variety 'Yunheuk' was developed from Yeongnam Agricultural Research Institute in 2007. A cross was made by 'Yoosung' with weak disease resistance and 'Kunheuk' with high yield capacity & quality, followed by pedigree selection, yield test and regional yield trial (RYT) by the sesame breeding team at the National Institute of Crop Science and Yeongnam Agricultural Research Institute up to 2007. The variety showed higher lodging resistance and more dark seed coloring rather than that of check variety 'Yangheuk'. Average stem length and the number of capsules per plant is 118 cm, 79 cm respectively. Its 1,000 grains weight is about 2.67 g indicating 0.10 g lower than that of 'Yangheuk', and its oil content is about 46.4%. 'Yunheuk' also contains total 2.59 mg/g of such lignans as sesamin and sesamolin. And its dark color density ($L^*$ Value) of seed coat is 22.43 which was about 10% lower than that of check variety. The average yield of 'Yunheuk' was 99.9 kg per 10a at the national-wide regional performance.
This study is aimed at researching Gyobang Dance performed by gisaeng of Gyobang in the banquet of Tonshinsa in Yeongnam Jwa-do Province. For this study, Hae-haeng-chong-che, a collection of 28 travel essays written by Joseon Tonshinsa after visiting Japan, and a collection of literary works were analyzed. Joseon Tonshinsa used Yeongnam Jwa-do Province as a route to Japan in obedience to a royal command, and Yeongnam U-do Province as a way back to Hanyang after completing their missions. The country gave a huge banquet to relieve Tonshinsa's anxiety about the voyage and to pray for a safe trip. The banquets were concentrated in Yeongnam Jwa-do Province, the way down to Busan departing from Hanyang. Looking into Tonshinsa's records, it can be seen that Tonshinsa banquets took place in Andong, Yeongcheon, Gyeongju, Milyang, and Busan. Gyobang Dance performed at Tonshinsa banquets includes Geommu, Hwangchangmu, Cheoyongmu, Cheondo, Mudong, Ipchum, and Jungchum. Through Tonshinsa envoy, 'Jeseon Tonshinsa-gil' was formed in Yeongnam Jwa-do Province, and through Tonshinsa banquets, the artistry of Gyobang Dance was compiled. Nevertheless, present Yeongnam Jwa-do Province has remarkably less Gyobang Dance passed down in comparison to Yeongnam U-do Province. For this reason, there is a need to look into Gyobang Dance of Yeongnam Jwa-do Province. The purpose of this study is to closely examine the cultural and artistic characteristics of Gyobang Dance performed at Tonshinsa banquets in Yeongnam Jwa-do Province formed through Joseon Tonshinsa-gil.
In the industrial production of fish snacks using frozen surimi, molding the surimi mixture requires an expensive automated machine. This study investigated the efficacy of freeze molding without machinery molding in the production of Alaska pollock Theragra chalcogramma surimi snacks. At 90 minutes after deep freezing at $-80^{\circ}C$, the cutting ease and shape retention of the surimi mixture were superior. The freezing-molded surimi snack had a higher TVB-N (total volatile basic nitrogen) level (3.59 mg/100 g) than that (1.50 mg/100 g) of the normally molded surimi snack. Freezing did not affect the microstructure of the surimi snack or its hardness, which is an important physical property of snack products. The freezing-molded and normally molded snacks did not differ significantly in terms of color or appearance, or in any other aspect of the sensory evaluation. Our findings demonstrate that freeze molding does not induce changes in the quality of surimi snacks. Therefore, molding by freezing treatment could be used to produce surimi snacks at small- and mid-sized seafood companies.
The Manila clam Ruditapes philippinarum, is an important marine bivalve that is widely distributed along the west and north coasts of South Korea. It has been used in a variety of Korean foods owing to its superior umami taste. In the present study, we developed a flavoring with an excellent sensory preference from Manila clam using extrusion cooking processing. Optimization of extrusion cooking conditions was performed using response surface methodology (RSM). Barrel temperature (X1, 140-160℃) and screw speed (X2, 400-560 rpm) of the extruder were chosen as independent variables. The dependent variable was overall acceptance (Y, points). The estimated optimal conditions were as follows: overall acceptance (Y): X1=140℃ and X2=560 rpm. The indicated value of the dependent variable overall acceptance (Y) under the optimal conditions was 8.94 points, which was similar to the experimental value (8.82 points). Overall acceptance of the Manila clam flavoring was related to its umami and Manila clam tastes. The electronic nose and tongue results successfully segregated different clusters of the samples between the lowest and highest sensory scores. The sample with the highest sensory score had higher sourness, umami, and sweetness intensities, and the lowest sensory scored sample showed more off-flavor compounds.
This paper estimates relationships between the supply of national highways, measured in lane-km, and the quantity of traffic, measured in vehicle-km traveled. The analysis uses a panel data set of annual observations for the years 1984 to 2003. By using a log-linear lag effect model designed to capture short and long term effects, the paper estimates that national highway vehicle-km traveled has a lane-km elasticity of 0.268 at the country level (Non-Seoul Metropolitan area) and 0.41 at the Seoul metropolitan area for the short term. For the long term, the paper estimates 0.8 for the country level and 1.23 for the Seoul metropolitan area. This paper finds conclusive evidence that increases in highway lane-miles have generated traffic over the period of study, however the increasing ratio of the generated traffic decreases gradually, particularly during the late 1980s.
