Business entrepreneurs reflect their views of domestic and foreign economic activities on their operation for the growth of their business. The decision, forecasting, and planning based on their economic sentiment affect business operation such as production, investment, and hiring and consequently affect condition of national economy. Business survey index(BSI) is compiled to get the information of business entrepreneurs' economic sentiment for the analysis of business condition. BSI has been used as an important variable in the short-term forecasting models for business cycle analysis, especially during the the period of extreme business fluctuations. Recent financial crisis has arised extreme business fluctuations similar to those caused by currency crisis at the end of 1997, and brought back the importance of BSI as a variable for the economic forecasting. In this paper, the meaning of BSI as an economic sentiment index is reviewed and a GUIDE regression tree is constructed to find out the factors which affect on BSI. The result shows that the variables related to the stability of financial market such as kospi index(Korea composite stock price index) and exchange rate as well as manufacturing operation ratio and consumer goods sales are main factors which affect business entrepreneurs' economic sentiment.

This paper examines the influence of Brexit on container volume of Korea, especially of macroeconomic variables such as exchange rate and industrial production of EU and United Kingdom. To do this, we use monthly time series data during 2000-2016, and introduce the analysis method of cointegration test and VECM, and analyze the influence of industrial production and exchange rate of EU and U.K. on container volume of Korea. The results are as follows. First, the container volume of Korea is influenced by the exchange rate and industrial production of EU in the long run. But the exchange and industrial production of U.K. influenced on only export container volume of Korea, and the influence of U.K. macroeconomic variables on container volume of Korea was not large in the long lun. Second, In the shot run, the influence of exchange rate on container volume of Korea, especially on export container volume was significant in EU and U.K. To sum up, the influence of EU macroeconomic variables on container volume of Korea is larger than that of U.K., and the influence of exchange rate variable is more significant than that of industrial production variable.

The objective of this study is to estimate Korean transportation service index (KTSI), and to explore possible uses of the KTSI. The KTSI was monthly index to represent the level of passenger and freight services by road, railroad, air and maritime modes, which was developed from eight series. Four of these series measure the level of passenger services (passenger-kilometers) by road, railroad. air and maritime modes : monthly data from January 1995 to December 2004. Similarly. the remaining four series measure the level or freight activity (tonnage) by four modes during the same period. Given the weights of modal revenues, component series were aggregated into two indexes (passenger index and freight index) and a composite index using Chained Fisher Ideal index. which was a geometric mean of the Laspeyres index and the Passche index. The Fisher Ideal index is one of the 'superlative' indexes, which diminish 'substitution bias' as current-weighted indexes. As a result, the freight index and the composite index explain economic conditions better than the passenger index. Based on the composite index. the newly estimated KTSI shows an average lag time of one and a half years at peaks and three months at troughs in comparison with domestic business cycles. Nonetheless. the following efforts are needed for more credible and useful estimates; establishment of data collection scheme in time. credibility uplift of used data, development of various indexation methods.

본 논문은 대단위 아파트를 주 대상으로 서울 7개소, 경기도 7개소, 강원도 10개소, 충청도 6개소, 총 30개소에 대한 승강기설비 전원품질을 측정하고 역률 변화, 고조파, 전압변동, 전압강하 등을 분석하였다. 분석결과 승강기설비 제어반 인입구에서의 실제역률(TPF)과 기본역률(DPF)의 차이가 고조파로 인하여 크게 나타나는 것을 확인하였고, 역률의 변화는 전원측(변압기)에 가까워질수록 작아지는 것을 확인하였다. 전압 종합왜형률(VTHD)은 안정적이지만 전류 종합왜형률(CTHD)은 기준치 이상의 매우 높은 수치가 발생되었고, 전원측(변압기)에 가까워질수록 작아지는 것을 확인하였다. 승강기설비 제어반 인입구에서의 전압강하율은 기준치 5%를 상회하고 있으나, 전압변동률은 최대 5.1%로서 기준치 10% 범위에 포함되었다.

한국 경제에 근간이 되는 산업은 제조업이고, 그중 석유화학산업은 전량 원유를 수입하여 우리나라의 기술력으로 가공하여 재수출하는 전략적 성장 산업이다. 수많은 제조업의 원료가 되는 원유를 전량 해상운송을 통해 수입하는 우리나라는 변동성이 심한 유조선 운임 시장에 대해 기민하게 대응해야 한다. 유조선 운임 시장의 위기는 관련 해운회사의 위기에서 끝나지 않고 원유를 사용하는 산업에서부터 국민의 생활까지 영향을 미칠 수 있으므로, 본 연구에서 신호접근법을 활용한 조기경보모형을 제시했다. BDTI 운임지수를 활용하여 유조선 해운시장 위기를 정의하고, 38개의 거시경제, 금융, 원자재 지표 그리고 해운시장 데이터를 활용해 시차상관관계를 분석하여 유조선 해운시장 위기에 선행적으로 반응하는 종합선행지수를 도출했다. 연구 결과, 종합선행지수는 두 달 전 가장 높은 0.499의 시차상관계수 값을 가졌으며, 5개월 전부터 유의미한 상관계수 값을 나타냈다. 더불어 QPS 값은 0.13으로 위기 예측에 대해 높은 정확성을 지니는 것으로 검증됐다.

최근 서울과 수도권지역의 오존농도에 대한 환경기준치 초과횟수와 고농도 발생일이 증가추세에 있으며, 일 최고농도 또한 높아지고 있다. 특히, 경기도지역 및 지방도시의 고농도 오존이 크게 증가하는 등 오존의 광역화현상이 나타나고 있다. 따라서 오존 및 오존 전구물질의 현황 및 발생기작을 파악하는 것이 시급한 상황이다. 외국의 경우 막대한 연구비를 투자하여 종합적인 오존 및 오존전구물질의 현황 파악 및 생성기작에 대한 연구를 진행해 왔다. (중략)

고병원성가금인플루엔자 발생 이후 양계업 경기가 좀처럼 살아나지 않는 가운데 양계농가 뿐만 아니라 관련업체들도 고전을 면치 못하고 있다. 이러한 어려움 속에서도 강원도 원주시 우산동에 자리한 미성종합축산기계(대표 김순중, 46)는 20년간 양계인들과 함께하면서 축산기자재 공급은 물론 집란기 및 할란기를 일본에 수출하는 등 어려움을 이겨나가고 있으며, 금년에는 중국으로부터 저렴하면서도 튼튼한 중국산 양계시설(케이지 등 일체)을 국내에 선보이면서 양계인들로부터의 선택의 폭을 넓혀주는 역할을 하고 있다. 또한 1992년 한국축산기자재협회를 설립할 당시 초창기 멤버로 참여하면서 업계발전에 힘을 쏟았고, 1991년부터 시작된 한국양계박랍회에 집란시스템을 출품하면서 축산자동화시설을 보급하는데 큰 기여를 해왔다.
