  • 교통사고 통계에 따르면 비보호 구역 내 도로에서 발생하는 교통사고 발생률이 일반 도로보다 30% 높은 수준임이 밝혀졌다. 기존 첨단 운전자 지원 시스템(ADAS: Advanced Driver Assistance Systems)은 다양한 사고 시나리오가 존재하는 비보호 구역에 적용하기에는 한계가 있다. 본 논문은 이러한 문제에 대응하기 위해 기존 ADAS 기능을 확장하여 예측과 판단이 어려운 비보호 구역에서 AI 분석을 통해 운전자에게 주행 가능 여부를 시각적으로 제공하는 시스템을 개발하고자 한다. 이 시스템은 운전자에게 경고와 지원을 제공함으로써 비보호 구역 내 교통사고를 예방할 수 있다.

  • 센서 네트워크를 이용하여 교량을 실시간으로 관리하기 위하여 미들웨어를 사용한다. 그러나 현재 미들웨어는 단순히 센서 네트워크에서 수집한 자료를 처리하는 단순한 수준에 불과하다. 본 논문에서 실시간으로 센서로부터의 정보를 수집/가공하고 센서 노드들과 전용 애플리케이션 및 웹 브라우저 간의 중재 역할을 하는 미들웨어를 제안한다. 또 데이터베이스 고장이 발생하였을 경우 파일로 수집정보를 저장 하며 데이터베이스가 복구되었을 때 데이터베이스 부하를 줄이기 위하여 데이터베이스의 사용률이 적을 때 파일로 수집된 정보를 데이터베이스에 저장하는 기능을 제안한다. 그리고 실시간으로 교량정보등을 감시하여 이상이 발생하였을 때 경고 메시지를 발생시켜 관리자가 교량의 비정상적인 상태에 대하여 빠르고 쉽게 인지할 수 있는 메커니즘을 제안한다.

  • 본 논문에서는 고령 휠체어 사용자를 대상으로 능동적인 이동을 위한 보도 탐지와 낙상 사고 감지의 기능을 담은 어플리케이션을 제안하고자 한다. 보도 파손 데이터를 담은 데이터베이스 지도를 형성함으로써, 다른 사용자의 2차 사고 방지도 예방할 수 있을 것이다.

  • Skills in tracing of the MR divide into following, approaching, avoiding and warning and so on. It is difficult to have all these skills learned as neural network. To make this up for, skills consisted of each module, and Mobile Robot was controlled by the output of module adequate for the situation. A mobile Robot was equipped multi-ultrasonic sensor and a USB Camera, which can be in place of human sense, and the measured environment information data is learned through Modular Neural Network. MNN consisted of optimal combination of activation function in the Expert Network and its structure seemed to improve learning time and errors. The Gating Network(GN) used to control output values of the MNN by switching for angle and speed of the robot. In the paper, EN of Modular Neural network was designed optimal combination. Traveling with a real MR was performed repeatedly to verity the usefulness of the MNN which was proposed in this paper. The robot was properly controlled and driven by the result value and the experimental is rewarded with good fruits.

  • Intercom System(ICS) of Korean Utility Helicopter(KUH) is an essential equipment for pilot to perform flight mission and it consists of communication system of KUH with VHF-FM radio set and U/VHF-AM radio set. It provides pilots and crews with internal communication, external communication and audible alarm. It has function of controlling volume and selecting two communication modes, normal mode and backup mode. This paper summarizes pilot comments in flight test which are classified by cause of occurrence and the troubleshooting process about each comment. It also describes design improvements which was derived from troubleshooting and suggests verification results of flight test.

  • The development in smartphone technology has brought convenience to the life of the mankind, but an excessive use of smartphones sometimes causes various accidents. This research tried to propose an application service 'Smombie Safe Go' UI(User Interface) that allows the prevention of such accident while using smartphones when walking. For this, after research and user observations, produced walker journey maps and derived necessary main functions needed for safety, and the result showed that transparent interface, obstacle location alert, warning of dangers functions were necessary. To make the contents of the service more detailed, hazardous situations faced during smartphone use when walking were classified into 3 situations : 1. Obstacle appearing in front, 2. traffic lights on crosswalks 3. No traffic lights on crosswalks. Scenarios by hazardous situation were written, and the flow and UI of the app service that warns its users in each situation of hazards were designed. it is predicted that 'Smombie Safe Go' may be possible to be utilized as an app service that provides a safe walking experience for not only regular pedestrians but also the blind population.

  • In this study, the effect of the automotive haptic-seat technology which can transmit the driving information by the vibro-stimulus from the seat was investigated to overcome previous system's limitation relied on the visual and audial method and to help handicap driving. A prototype haptic seat cover with 30 coin-type motors and driver module were developed for this sake. In an experiment of seat vibration stimulation being performed under virtual driving situation by targeting the elderly aged over 65 years old, average score of test subjects for total vibration recognition was 3.5/4 points and recognition rate of 87.5% was represented. In addition, a result that all the test subjects totally recognized overspeed warning signal of 4 times was represented. As a result of statistical analysis for vibration recognition score by each group depending on TMT score, a significant difference was not found and a result that tactile function of which vibration is recognized even by the aged whose visual, perceptional function is declined showed an equal ability was obtained.. In this study it was shown that the seat vibration stimulus could be used to transfer the old drivers' information while driving.

Interface Construction for Printout Security Management System (출력물 보안 관리 시스템을 위한 인터페이스 구축)

  • The printout management system should analyze the pattern of existence of personal information (resident number, card number) in the output log and users should be provided with functions such as warning message pop-up, forced printing termination, mailing to administrator, independently logs management. Authentication management can also be performed only by registered users by installing an agent on a user PC, and it should have a restriction function to permit or deny work according to user information. In addition, when printing/copying/scanning using this equipment, it is possible to use document printing and multifunction copier after ID card authentication and ID/PW should be input to device when ID card is not used. In this study, we developed these interfaces with WOWSOFT co., Ltd, a security company that has better technology than the existing printout security methods, to construct the printout management system. Also we designed the interface of basic functions necessary for printout management and contributed to the establishment of printout management system.

Driver Assistance System By the Image Based Behavior Pattern Recognition (영상기반 행동패턴 인식에 의한 운전자 보조시스템)

  • In accordance with the development of various convergence devices, cameras are being used in many types of the systems such as security system, driver assistance device and so on, and a lot of people are exposed to these system. Therefore the system should be able to recognize the human behavior and support some useful functions with the information that is obtained from detected human behavior. In this paper we use a machine learning approach based on 2D image and propose the human behavior pattern recognition methods. The proposed methods can provide valuable information to support some useful function to user based on the recognized human behavior. First proposed one is "phone call behavior" recognition. If a camera of the black box, which is focused on driver in a car, recognize phone call pose, it can give a warning to driver for safe driving. The second one is "looking ahead" recognition for driving safety where we propose the decision rule and method to decide whether the driver is looking ahead or not. This paper also shows usefulness of proposed recognition methods with some experiment results in real time.

  • Fault simulators are used to evaluate the quality of a test pattern generated. So far, most fault simulators did not handle bus conflicts properly. We analyzed . all possible bus conflicts when test patterns are applied to a circuit with bus structure and categorized bus conflicts into various types. Also. we proposed an efficient method to identify various types of bus conflicts. The fault simulator which employs the proposed method can evaluate the quality of test patterns generated and also can avoid destruction of bus drivers due to bus conflicts hy warning the use of test patterns which cause bus conflicts. The proposed method can also be incorperated into a test pattern generator so that it can generate conflict-free test patterns.
