Integrating Video Image into Digital Map (동영상과 수치지도의 결합에 관한 연구)

  • The objective of this research is to develope a process of integrating video image into digital map. In order to reach the research objective, the work includes the development of georeferencing technique for video images, the development of pilot system and the assesment process. Georeferencing technique for video images is composed of DGPS positioning, filtering of abnormal points, map conflation, indexing locations for key frames via time tag and indexing locations for total frames. By using the proposed building process, we could find the result that the accuracy of image capturing test points is $92.8%({\pm}2\;frames)$. The eventual meaning of this study is that it is possible to find a new conception of digital map, which overcomes a limitation of exiting two dimensional digital map.

  • In general, stock prices do not follow normal distributions and mean trend indexes, volatility indexes, and volume indicators relating to these non-normal stock price are widely used as buy-sell strategies. These general buy-sell strategies are rather intuitive than statistical reasoning. The non-normality problem can be solved by normalizing process and statistical buy-sell strategy can be obtained by using mean trend and volatility indexes together with normalized stock prices. In this paper, buy-sell strategy based on mean trend and volatility index with normalized stock prices are proposed and applied to KOSPI200 data to see the feasibility of the proposed buy-sell strategy.

  • BN(Boron Nitride)은 온도와 압력 조건에 따라 안정한 상이 sp3 결합인 cubic 구조의 BN(cBN)과 sp2 결합인 hexagonal 구조의 BN(hBN or tBN)으로 나뉘는데, 이 중 cBN은 우수한 기계적, 물리적, 화학적 특성으로 인해 박막 분야에서 매우 높은 응용가능성을 지니고 있다. 하지만 cBN 박막의 합성과정에서의 필수적인 요소인 높은 압축잔류응력은 cBN을 응용분야에 적용하는데 있어 한계점으로 계속 남아 있었다. 그동안 이러한 잔류응력을 감소시키기 위해 열처리, 이온 주입, 제 3의 물질 첨가 등 다양한 관점에서 접근한 연구들이 진행되어 왔다. 본 연구에서는 cBN 합성과정에서 잔류응력을 감소시키기 위한 방법으로 수소를 첨가하였고, 그에 따른 잔류응력의 변화를 분석하고, 그 과정에서 잔류응력의 형성에 수소가 어떤 역할을 하는지 규명하고자 하였다. cBN 박막은 hBN을 target으로한 unbalanced magnetron sputtering를 사용하여, 실리콘 wafer 위에 합성하였다. 증착압력은 1.3mTorr로, 수소의 첨가량을 증가시키며 잔류응력과 cBN fraction을 관찰하였다. cBN fraction은 FTIR로 분석하였고, 잔류응력은 실리콘 strip의 in-situ 곡률측정법으로 계산하였다. cBN 박막의 조성과 구조 분석, 수소의 역할 규명을 위해 RBS 및 HRTEM을 이용하였다.

  • According to the size of mobile applications has been expanded, the coupling of among mobile applications or servers also will be growing. The growth of mobile application's size means that predicting design for variability should be involved. If mobile application's change is occurred, application should be reinstalled totally. However this reinstallation can raise side-effects in case of high-coupling applications. Therefore, this paper proposes a technique of designing variability for mobile applications in android platform. Proposed technique is separated into selection technique and plug-in technique.

  • According to the scale of mobile applications has been expanded, the high coupled application combined mobile and web service are growing. The growth of mobile application's size means that predicting design for variability should be involved. If mobile application's change is occurred, application should be reinstalled totally. However this reinstallation can raise side-effects in case of high-coupling application. Therefore, this paper proposes a technique of customization for changing web service protocol as the mobile applications are connected with web service in android platform. Proposed protocol customization technique is consist of selection and plug-in technique.

A Predistorter Based on Look Up Tables for the Compensation of Nonlinear Distortion with Memory in OFDM Systems (OFDM 시스템에서 기억성을 갖는 비선형 왜곡의 보상을 위한 참조 테이블 기반의 사전왜곡기)

  • 본 논문에서는 OFDM 시스템의 송신기에서 사용되는 선형 필터와 고출력 증폭기의 결합에 의한 \"기억성을 갖는 비선형 왜곡\"을 실제 하드웨어 구현에 적합하게 적은 계산량으로 보상할 수 있는 참조 테이블(look up table; LUT) 기반의 사전왜곡기를 제안한다. LUT를 이용하는 사전왜곡기들은 이미 많이 연구되었으나, 본 논문에서는 다중 입력/단일 출력 형태의 기억성을 갖는 비선형 왜곡을 작은 크기의 LUT를 이용하여 효율적으로 보상한다는 점에서 큰 차이가 있다. 제안 방법에서는 먼저 기억성이 없는 고출력 증폭기만이 존재할 때의 사전왜곡기를 우리가 이미 제안한 고정점 반복 사전왜곡기 알고리즘에 기반하여 LUT로 구현하고, 여기에 선형 역 시스템을 결합하여 기억성을 갖는 비선형 왜곡을 보상한다. 실제 구현 가능성 검토를 위해 제안된 사전왜곡기와 16-QAM, 256-IFFT/FFT OFDM 시스템 기저대역 모뎀을 TMS320C30 DSP를 이용하여 구현하였으며, 실험 결과 작은 크기의 LUT를 이용하여도 원래의 고정점 반복 사전왜곡기에 비해 매우 적은 계산량을 요구하면서 동일한 성능을 얻을 수 있음을 확인하였다.있음을 확인하였다.

Lipoic Acid Conjugated Chitosan Copolymer for the Delivery of 5-Fluorouracil (5-Fluorouracil 전달을 위한 리포산이 결합된 키토산 공중합체)

  • The amphiphilic copolymer by the conjugation of biocompatible chitosan and antioxidant lipoic acid was studied as a drug delivery carrier. The amphiphilic copolymer was self-assembled to form nanoparticles in the aqueous solution. 5-Fluorouracil widely used as an anticancer drug was encapsulated inside the nanoparticles by a solid dispersion method. The degree of branching of lipoic acid on chitosan was controlled to obtain the optimal condition for the drug delivery carrier. The sizes of nanoparticles were about 250 nm by the dynamic light scattering. The encapsulation efficiency of nanoparticles were about 10%. The copolymer with 42% degree of branching showed the best performance as a drug delivery carrier.

  • With the development of methodologies, there are also the researches for the concrete item selection for selecting the future emerging researches and technologies. In this paper, we use scientometrics for that purpose in the sectors of construction and transportation. In our scientometric analysis, we use Scopus database, top 1% cited papers, bibliographic coupling, cosine coefficient, and hierarchical clustering and then carry additional experts verification on our results. We try to show the detailed process of scientometric analysis and its possibility as objective methodologies to select the future emerging researches and technologies.

  • This paper presents the development of InGaAsP multiple quantum well asymmetric Fabry-Perot modulators(AFPM), which have a vertical structure and high performance and describes measurements of devices operating at 10GHz for next generation broadband wireless communication applications such as picocell systems. Advantages of the AFPM include low drive voltage, which is less than -2V, and -3dB coupling loss, good flatness of the frequency response and simple fiber alignment. A simple link demonstration has been introduced, resulting in 92dB/Hz spurious free dynamic range and 40dB inter-modulation distortion. This modulator could be use for broadband radio over fiber systems such as picocell and multiple RF links.

  • Tannic acid is one of the most commonly found polyphenols in the vegetable field. Initially, research on tannins concentrated on physiological functions such as antioxidants. Recently, however, tannic acid has attracted much interest as a molecular glue as it has been found to interact virtually all bio-macromolecules such as proteins and DNA. The various properties of tannic acid are expected to control the wettability of the surface, contribute to energy storage and generation, and show potential as a medical agent. Here, tannic acid will be discussed about the interaction of with bio-macromolecules as a molecular glue, surface modification, and utilization of itself as biomaterials.
