  • 수정촉진 peptide(Fertilization Promoting Peptide; FPP) 는 체내에서 정자-난자의 결합시 투명 대내에서 glycoprotein 과 progesterone에 의해 정자침입이 활성화 될 때까지 첨체반응을 억제함으로써 정자의 수정상태 유지를 위하여 필요한 물질로 알려져 있다. 한편, 정자내에 존재하는 lectin과 같은 단백질 및 효소 등은 투명대내에 존재하는 oligosaccharide 잔기를 합성시킨다. 본 연구는 돼지 정자-난자의 체외수정시 투명대내 FITC-labelled 처리된 lection의 결합과 FP의 영향을 검토하고자 수행되었다. Estimation of Heterosis from Strain Crosses of White Crosses and White Plymouth Rock for Certain Economic Traits (백색코니쉬와 백색플리머드록 계통간 교배단계별 경제형질에 대한 잡종강세 발현율 추정)

  • This study was carried out to estimate combining abilities and heterosis in White Cornish and White Plymouth Rock. The data were obtained over an 8weeks period from 3rd Oct., 1984 to 28th Nov. 1984 at the Livestock Experiment Station. A total of 810 birds, composed of 369 pure strains, 270 two-way crosses, and 180 fourway crosses were average amount of heterosis expressed as a ratio was 1.63% for livability, 5.47% for body weight at 8 weeks, 5.57% for weight gain from day old to 8 weeks and -5.98% for feed requirement. Specific combining ability were statistically significant for all of the traits examined in this study. Although the general combining ability was not significant for any of the traits, strain A appears to be superior to other strains.

Effect of Lumbar Mobilization Combined with Dual Task Training on Balance in Patients with Chronic Stroke (이중과제훈련을 결합한 허리 관절가동술이 만성 뇌졸중 환자의 균형에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect of lumbar mobilization combined with dual task training on balance ability in patients with chronic stroke. In this study, 30 adults who were diagnosed with a stroke were divided into 15 groups, each with a dual task training group, a dual task training group applying joint mobilization to the lumbar from July 1, 2019 to August 31, 2019, it was held for 30 minutes a day for two months, three times a week for a total of eight weeks. The clinical balance evaluation index was measured by K-BBS, and the surface area, step length and average speed were measured using Bioresque. In K-BBS, scores were increased in all groups, and the balance ability was increased in the surface area, step length and average speed using Bioresque. Therefore, the combination of dual task training for the lumbar was thought to have an effect on increasing the balance ability of chronic stroke patients.

  • One of the primary factors limiting the application of composite-metal adhesively bonded joints in structural design is the lack of a good evaluation tool for the interfacial strength to predict the load bearing capacity of boned joints. In this paper composite-steel adhesion strength is evaluated in terms of stress intensity factor and fracture toughness of the interface corner. The load bearing capacity of double lap joints, fabricated by co-cured bonding of composite-steel adherends has been determined using fracture mechanical analysis. Bi-material interface comer stress singularity and its order are presented. Finally stress intensities and fracture toughness of the wedge shape bi-material interface corner are determined. Double lap joint failure locus and its mixed mode crack propagation criterion on $K_1-K_{11}$ plane have been developed by tension tests with different bond lengths.

Comparison of Pollutants Removal between the Intermittently Aerated Bioreactor(IABR) and Intermittently Aerated Membrane Bioreactor(IAMBR) (간헐포기공정과 막결합 간헐포기공정의 오염물질 제거특성 비교)

  • The purpose of this study was the comparison of pollutants removal and the track study of the nitrogen and phosphorus, the estimation of the nitrification and denitrification rate, and the investigation of the nitrogen mass balance between intermittently aerated membrane bioreactor(IAMBR) and intermittently aerated bioreactor(IABR), thus it verified the validity of the membrane submergence. As a result, it had no difference of organic matter removal, however, IAMBR showed better efficiency than IABR in the nutrients. Also, $NO_3{^-}$-N concentration at the anoxic state in the reactor was lower in IAMBR, and the denitrified nitrogen of IAMBR was 40.9%, that of IABR was 10.7%, thus it found out that the denitrification capability of IAMBR was higher than IABR above fourfold. Therefore, it seems resonable to conclude that the membrane helps to improve the removal of pollutants, because of the high MLSS concentration and the available method of intermittent inflow/outflow.

  • Satellite visibility, Accuracy, and Availability were increased by the combined GPS/GLONASS. But, there are some problems such as differences in the time frame, differences in the coordinate datum, and the problem of solving carrier phase ambiguities in the combined carrier frequency solutions due to different GLONASS frequency. Therefore, the accuracy of single point positioning using the combined GPS/GLONASS will be assessed, and intend to study the characteristics of the combined GPS/GLONASS with considered the rate of data acquisition according to the visibility of satellite and elevation cutoff at the combined GPS/GLONASS.

  • The purpose of this research is to prepare the aluminum electrode coated with activated carbon for removing air pollution dust. The experiments were studied on the selection of optimal polymer for binding aluminum plate with powdered activated carbon, preventing the pore blocking of activated carbon from polymer binder, and the dust treatability for the prepared activated carbon electrode. The optimal adhesive for coating activated carbon on an electric aluminum plate was polyvinyl acetate (PVA) with vinyl functional group. For the opening of the blocked pore with polymer, it was very effective to embed polymer solvent in pore of activated catbon firstly before mixing activated carbon with PVA, and then to devolatilize the embedded solvent of carbon pore at high temperature. The mass of trapped dust on aluminum electrode coated with activated carbon was about double of the trapped one on just aluminum electrode.

Oocyte-sperm Binding Assay (OSBA) Technique for Rapid Q/C of IVF Culture Condition (체외수정용 배양조건의 신속한 Q/C를 위한 정자-난자 결합분석법(OSBA) 개발)

  • OSBA(oocytes-sperm binding assay) is a tool developed for rapid test of optimal condition of IVF medium and protein source by binding ability of mouse sperm and egg. Mouse oocyte-cumulus complexes were prepared by removing of the cumulus cells with 0.1% hyaluronidase. 10$\pm$2 oocytes per 30 ${mu}ell$ medium drop were inseminated with 3 ${mu}ell$ sperm suspension and were cultured f3r 3 hours and 24 hours, respectively. And the oocytes were recovered gently and the No. of sperm bound on oocytes were counted. In the Exp. 1, the ratio of oocytes bound with one sperm at least were 60.2%(50/83), 2%(2/77) and 100%(79/79) in the medium with no protein, FBS(15%, v/v) and BSA(0.4%. w/v), respectively, Fetal bovine serum(FBS) seriously inhibited sperm binding on oocyte, although bovine serum albumin(BSA) promoted the binding ability. The inhibiting effect of FBS was dependent on the concentration of FBS. The sperm binding ability according to oocyte maturity was tested in the Exp. 2. There was no significant difference between Met. II (mature) and Met. I (intermediate mature) oocytes in the number of oocytes bound with sperm and the number of sperm bound on oocytes. Finally, in Exp. 3, two batches of Ham's F10 medium with good and poor quality by OSBA were tested (The ratios of embryos developed from PN 1-cell stage to hatched blastocyst; 25% vs. 70%). In the medium with good quality, sperm binding ability was significantly increased (P < 0.05). The ratio of oocytes bound with one sperm at least was 66% and 90% in the medium with poor and good quality, respectively. Conclusively, It was possible to test IVF medium condition rapidly and easily by OSBA.

Development of FDRRI Based Community Preparedness Index (지역사회 대비능력을 고려한 홍수피해저감지수 개발)

  • 최근 선진국에서는 지역사회의 지역특성, 대비능력 등을 토대로 맞춤형 재난 대비책을 마련하여 시행하고 있다. 이는 중앙정부의 한정된 자원을 효율적으로 배분하고, 지방정부는 지역의 취약성을 파악하여 구체적 적응정책의 방향성 제시를 가능하게 한다. 우리나라 역시 재해위험에 대한 각 지역의 방재능력을 여러 가지 방법으로 진단하고 있으나 대부분 지역의 인구, 재정력, 시설, 인력, 자원 확보 및 계획 등 정량적 정보만을 종합하여 위험도를 진단하고 있어 재해위험에 대한 지역민과 지역사회가 느끼는 취약성을 제대로 반영하지 못하고 있는 실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 홍수 취약성 개념 틀을 정의하고 지역사회를 기반으로 취약성을 평가할 수 있는 홍수피해저감지수(Flood Disaster Risk Reduction Index, FDRRI)를 개발하였다. FDRRI는 지형적 기상적 요인을 고려한 홍수노출지표, 사회적요인과 과거피해 요인을 고려한 민감도지표, 지역안전도 피해저감능력지수를 고려한 피해저감능력지표, 지역민의 대비능력을 나타내는 지역사회대비능력 지표를 결합하여 평가된다. 특히, 지역사회대비능력지표는 지역민 설문조사를 통해 지역민의 역량을 정량화한 것으로 본 연구에서 처음으로 도입한 것이다. FDRRI의 적용성 검토를 위해 지형적 특성, 홍수피해정도 등을 고려하여 낙동강 유역의 경북 봉화, 김천, 경남 고성, 김해를 시범지역으로 선정하고 FDRRI를 산정하였으며 타당성을 검증하였다. FDRRI는 홍수위험에 대한 지역의 저감능력을 잘 반영하고 있으며, 지역별 맞춤형 저감대책 및 지역사회가 참여한 지속가능한 재난관리 정책 수립 등에 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
