Hydrological performance analysis of green wall through indoor experiment (실내실험을 통한 벽면녹화에 따른 물순환 효과 분석)

  • 최근 도시의 왜곡된 물순환 문제를 해결하기 위해서 저영향개발(Low Impact Development, LID) 기법을 적극적으로 도입하고 있다. 저영향개발은 자연의 침투, 증발산, 여과 등의 자연기작을 모방하여 강우유출수를 침투 및 저류시키는 기법으로 물순환 체계를 회복시킬 수 있다. 저영향개발 기법의 하나인 벽면녹화는 건축물이나 기반 시설물의 벽면과 같은 인공지반에 기반을 조성하고 식물을 식재하는 시설로 짧은 시간에 녹지 면적을 만들 수 있다. 또한, 건축물로 인해 생겨난 수직적인 면을 녹지로 활용할 수 있어 도시에 매우 특화된 시설이다. 본 연구는 벽면녹화의 저영향개발 시설로서의 성능을 확인하기 위해 실내 실험을 진행하여 강우유출수 저감효과 및 지체시간 지연효과를 확인하였다. 강우유출수 저감효과는 유입량 대비 저류량을 기준으로 유출저감률을 산정하여 분석하였으며, 총 유출시간을 측정하여 지연효과를 판단하였다. 벽면녹화 현장실험 대상지는 경상남도 양산시 물금읍 부산대학교 양산캠퍼스에 위치한 한국 녹색인프라저영향개발센터이며, 실내에 플랜터형 벽면녹화 시스템을 적용하였다. 부산시 금정구 2012년~2021년의 강수량을 사용해 백분위수 강우사상을 기준으로 30, 50, 70mm/hr의 강우 시나리오를 선정하였다. 물순환 효과를 판단하기 위해 불투수면을 대조군으로 설정하여 불투수면의 유출이 종료되는 시점까지 지표면 유출을 모니터링 하였다. 그 결과, 30, 50, 70mm/hr 시나리오별 유출률은 91.76%, 92.18%, 94.54%로 불투수면과 대비하여 유출이 적게 발생하였으며 총 유출시간은 불투수면대비 47분, 88분, 58분 증가하여 지연효과가 있음을 확인하였다. 본 연구는 실험을 통해 벽면녹화의 수문학적 성능을 분석하고자 유출량 저감효과와 지연효과를 확인하였다. 추후 다양한 강우 시나리오와 제원에 따라 실험이 수행된다면 더 정확히 벽면녹화의 물순환 효과를 확인할 수 있을 것이다.

  • 최근 기후변화, 과도한 지하수 이용 등으로 유역 환경이 변화하고 있으며, 이에 따른 부작용으로 하천의 건천화, 지표유출량 증가, 증발산량 감소 등 물순환 구조가 왜곡되고 있다. 물순환 과정은 지역적 조건에 따라 다르게 나타나며, 모의 요소와 해석 기법도 다르다. 따라서 지속가능하고 건전화된 물순환을 위해 해당 유역의 물순환계를 정확히 파악하고 고려하여 객관적으로 정량화할 수 있어야 한다. 현재 우리나라 농업유역은 논, 용·배수로, 농업용 저수지가 존재하며, 종합적인 농촌용수 물순환 해석을 위해 농촌용수 요소별 해석 기술 및 모듈 개발, 모델링 기법 등을 이용하여 농촌수자원의 체계적·과학적 해석 및 관리 시스템 개발이 이루어져야 한다. 본 연구에서는 강원도 원주시에 위치한 흥업저수지를 대상으로 농촌용수의 물순환 과정을 정립하였으며, 저수지 시점부·말단부, 농업용 저수지, 저수지 유역으로 구분하여 물순환 분석을 수행하였다. 물순환 모의 요소로 저수지 수위, 유역 유출량, 수로부 공급량 및 배수량, 회귀수량 등으로 선정하였으며, 수로 네트워크 기반의 SWMM (Storm Water Management Model) 모형을 이용하여 종합적인 농촌용수 물순환 해석을 수행하였다. 또한, 물순환 해석 기법의 적용성 검증을 위해 모의 요소별 모니터링을 수행하였으며, SWMM 모형과 모니터링을 비교하여 적용성을 평가하였다. 본 연구 결과를 통해 농촌지역 특성 및 기후변화를 고려한 농촌수자원의 안정적인 공급과 국가 청정 수자원 확보를 위한 통합 물관리 정책을 실현하는데 기초 자료로써 활용 가능할 것이라 사료된다.

  • To ensure the stable flight of aerospace electric propulsion systems, it is necessary to measure the supplied flow rate and control it to an appropriate level. However, conventional flow sensors are costly and face limitations in space environments, making heat-based flow estimation a promising alternative. In this study, the Taguchi method, one of the experimental design techniques, was applied to perform thermal analysis simulations using Ansys under various variables and conditions. The Taguchi method was used to set heat supply and the positioning of inlet and outlet temperature sensors as key variables, and the optimal distance conditions were derived. Thermal analysis was conducted through Ansys to analyze the flow estimation results under each experimental condition. Therefore, this study demonstrates the practicality of the heat-based flow estimation method for fuel management systems in electric propulsion systems, presenting a new approach for the efficient and economical operation of electric propulsion. Additionally, this research contributes to the development of fuel management technologies that can be effectively utilized in the constrained environment of space.

  • Recently, as enterprises utilize the cloud and artificial intelligence, it is becoming increasingly difficult to protect exposed interfaces with existing perimeter security methods. Accordingly, zero trust-based comprehensive risk management is becoming necessary. Most enterprises use vulnerability inspection and bug bounty (security vulnerability reporting system) as basic risk management methods, but it is difficult to effectively respond to unpredictable problems such as zero-day attacks or open source vulnerabilities with these methods alone. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a risk response technique for the entire enterprise that links external OSINT (open source information) and CTI of national government agencies to detect threats through CTI (cyber threat intelligence) and collects the enterprise's own CTI. As a result of comparing the method of threat detection and blocking that collects the enterprise's own CTI by configuring a honeypot for effective threat detection and links it to the CTI of an external government agency, the proposed technique showed a 65.8% higher performance improvement in detection accuracy and verified the effect of reducing the number of attackers in the organization through this method

Dynamic Power Management Method Considering VBR Video Traffic in Wi-Fi Direct (Wi-Fi Direct에서 VBR 비디오 트래픽을 고려한 동적 에너지 관리 기법)

  • Recently Wi-Fi Alliance defined Wi-Fi direct, which can communicate through a direct connection between the mobile device anytime, anywhere. In Wi-Fi direct, all devices are categorized by group of owner (GO) and client. Since portability is emphasized in Wi-Fi direct devices, it is essential to control the energy consumption of a device very efficiently. In order to avoid unnecessary power consumed by GO, Wi-Fi direct standard defines two power management schemes: Opportunistic power saving scheme and Notice Of Absence (NOA) scheme. But, these two schemes do not consider the traffic pattern, so we cannot expect high energy efficiency. In this paper, we suggest an algorithm to enhance the energy efficiency of Wi-Fi direct power saving, considering the characteristics of multimedia video traffic. Proposed algorithm utilizes the statistical distribution for the size of video frames and adjusts the length of awake interval dynamically. Also, considering the inter-dependency among video frames, the proposed algorithm assigns priorities to video frames and ensures that a video frame with high priority is transmitted with higher probability than other frames with low priority. Simulation results shows that the proposed method outperforms the traditional NOA in terms with average delay and energy efficiency.

  • Rapid development of various information technologies creates new opportunities in online and offline markets. In this changing market environment, customers have various demands on new products and services. Therefore, their power and influence on the markets grow stronger each year. Companies have paid great attention to customer relationship management. Especially, personalized product recommendation systems, which recommend products and services based on customer's private information or purchasing behaviors in stores, is an important asset to most companies. CRM is one of the important business processes where reliable information is mined from customer database. Data mining techniques such as artificial intelligence are popular tools used to extract useful information and knowledge from these customer databases. In this research, we propose a recommendation system that predicts customer's purchase intention. Then, customer's purchasing intention of specific product is predicted by using data mining techniques using receipt data set. The performance of this suggested method is compared with that of other data mining technologies.

A Study on the Performance Improvement of Rocchio Classifier with Term Weighting Methods (용어 가중치부여 기법을 이용한 로치오 분류기의 성능 향상에 관한 연구)

  • This study examines various weighting methods for improving the performance of automatic classification based on Rocchio algorithm on two collections(LISA, Reuters-21578). First, three factors for weighting are identified as document factor, document factor, category factor for each weighting schemes, the performance of each was investigated. Second, the performance of combined weighting methods between the single schemes were examined. As a result, for the single schemes based on each factor, category-factor-based schemes showed the best performance, document set-factor-based schemes the second, and document-factor-based schemes the worst. For the combined weighting schemes, the schemes(idf*cat) which combine document set factor with category factor show better performance than the combined schemes(tf*cat or ltf*cat) which combine document factor with category factor as well as the common schemes (tfidf or ltfidf) that combining document factor with document set factor. However, according to the results of comparing the single weighting schemes with combined weighting schemes in the view of the collections, while category-factor-based schemes(cat only) perform best on LISA, the combined schemes(idf*cat) which combine document set factor with category factor showed best performance on the Reuters-21578. Therefore for the practical application of the weighting methods, it needs careful consideration of the categories in a collection for automatic classification.

  • In this paper, we developed a damage evaluation technique that can determine the damage location of a long-sized structure such as a cable-stayed bridge, and verified the performance of the developed technique through experiments. The damage assessment method aims to extract data that can evaluate the damage of the structure without the undamage data and can determine the damage location only by analyzing the response data of the structure. To complete this goal, we developed a damage assessment technique that considers variability based on the IMD theory, which is a statistical pattern recognition technique, to identify the damage location. To evaluate the performance of the developed technique experimentally, cable damage experiments were conducted on model cable-stayed bridges. As a result, the damage assessment method considering variability automatically outputs the damageless data according to external force, and it is confirmed that the performance of extracting information that can determine the damage location of the cable through the analysis of the outputted damageless data and the measured damage data is shown.

A Study of Analysis Method for the Track geometry measuring data on High Speed Railway (고속철도 궤도검측자료 분석기법에 관한 연구)

  • Measuring the track geometry of a high-speed railway is the most important task in track construction and track maintenance work. Measuring accuracy is particularly sign the formulation of the maintenance plan and in the assessment of the work quality, and because it can set the train speed limit. To determine the track geometry of a high-speed railway, it is important to use KNR's track recording coach (EM-120). According to the result of the spectrum analysis, noise near the 1-m wave band was found on the track recording data. A new filter was thus applied to remove the noise from the track recording data. A similar result can be acquired when this method is used in real track geometry.

A Study on Changes of the Intellectual Structure in Web Information Using the Co-links Analysis (동시링크분석을 이용한 웹정보원의 지적구조 변화에 관한 연구)

  • This research analyzed changes of the intellectual structure of web information by examining time changes and search engines using the co-links analysis. According to the results, the co-links web information clusters on the two maps appeared to contain changes in the intellectual structure over the two time periods. The intellectual structure that appeared in the information map for AltaVista and MSN Search engines was relatively similar. However. there were also cases where the clusters of some web information was different. The results of the research revealed that the cocitation analysis could be applied simultaneously to diachronous analysis in the web information.
