A Study on the Development of Maintenance System for Equipment of LNG-FPSO Ship (LNG-FPSO 선박 장비들의 보전활동 지원시스템 개발에 관한 연구)

  • In this paper, a maintenance system is developed for LNG-FPSO topside and hullside equipment based CBM (Condition Based Maintenance) methodology. First, the development system defined the PWBS(Product Work Breakdown Structure) of major equipment of LNG-FPSO. Second, the development system developed the failure analysis, economic evaluation for optimal maintenance plan and database systems that save and manage information about equipment, failure mode, failure rate and failure cause. Finally, the verification of the development system was applied to the inlet system of topside and the pump tower system of hullside and the system was confirmed the effectiveness of CBMS(Condition Based Maintenance System).

Engineering-scale Validation Test for the T-H-M Behaviors of a HLW Disposal System (고준위폐기물 처분시스템의 열적-수리적-역학적 거동 규명을 위한 공학적 규모의 실증시험)

  • The engineering performance of a high level waste repository is significantly dependent upon the T-H-M behavior in the engineered barrier system. An engineering-scale test facility (KENTEX) was set up to validate the T-H-M behaviors in the buffer of a reference disposal system developed in the 2002. The validation tests started on May 31, 2005 and is now in progress. The KENTEX facility and validation test programme are introduced, and pre-operation calculations are also presented to give information on the sensitive location of sensors and operational conditions. This test will provide information (e.g., large-scale apparatus, sensors, monitoring system etc.) needed for 'in-situ' tests, make the validation of a T-H-M model for the T-H-M performance assessment of the reference disposal system, and demonstrate the engineering feasibility of fabricating and emplacing the buffer of a repository.

Deduction of Assessment Items about Applied Technologies in U-Eco City (U-Eco City 적용기술의 평가항목 도출)

  • For assessment of U-Eco City technologies, more concrete definition of those technologies are required. However, almost researches defined technologies as conceptually and even cannot include all of them. In this sense, the purpose of this study is to deduct assessing items for specifying applying priority of U-Eco City technologies. We performed the research by 3 steps. Firstly, we deduct assessing items of the technologies by researching their advance process. After then, we compensate the defect of those items through documentary research and made a periodic table about core technologies that can be useful for deducting long-term items. The assessing items what are deducted as a result of this study can be applied to the selection of technology, and will be useful to construct more objective and systematized U-Eco City. Furthermore, if assessment frame about technologies and services is developed from this research, it gives to us probability that standardized process of U-Eco City construction can be established.

A Study on the Factors affecting the Implementation of HCRM (병원고객관계관리 시스템 도입에 영향을 미치는 요인 연구)

  • Due to the high level of information supportive function of Internet, the management environment change is accelerating. The Patients are able to have the chances of Hospital- and Doctor-shopping. So the Customer Relationship Management skill or Patient -oriented management is becoming one of the important management method of Hospital. To adapt these trend, many Hospital invest the money and efforts for the implementation of Hospital CRM system. But the Performance of HCRM is not satisfactory for the investor from many reasons. In this paper we try to find out which kinds of factors have the Influences on the Implementation of HCRM, and how is the relation between these factors. We use the Structural Equation Model to clarify these relationships. The result of this paper will contribute in the decision making of the implementation of HCRM in the field, and in providing the knowledge base.

Node Distribution-Based Localization for Large-scale Wireless Sensor Networks (대규모 무선 센서 네트워크에서 노드 분포를 고려한 분산 위치 인식 기법 및 구현)

  • Distributed localization algorithms are necessary for large-scale wireless sensor network applications. In this paper, we introduce an efficient node distribution based localization algorithm that emphasizes simple refinement and low system load for low-cost and low-rate wireless sensors. Each node adaptively chooses neighbor nodes for sensors, update its position estimate by minimizing a local cost function and then passes this update to the neighbor nodes. The update process considers a distribution of nodes for large-scale networks which have same density in a unit area for optimizing the system performance. Neighbor nodes are selected within a range which provides the smallest received signal strength error based on the real experiments. MATLAB simulation showed that the proposed algorithm is more accurate than trilateration and les complex than multidimensional scaling. The implementation on MicaZ using TinyOS-2.x confirmed the practicality of the proposed algorithm.

Recognition of License Plates Using a Hybrid Statistical Feature Model and Neural Networks (하이브리드 통계적 특징 모델과 신경망을 이용한 자동차 번호판 인식)

  • A license plate recognition system consists of image processing in which characters and features are extracted, and pattern recognition in which extracted characters are classified. Feature extraction plays an important role in not only the level of data reduction but also performance of recognition. Thus, in this paper, we focused on the recognition of numeral characters especially on the feature extraction of numeral characters which has much effect in the result of plate recognition. We suggest a hybrid statistical feature model which assures the best dispersion of input data by reassignment of clustering property of input data. And we verify the effectiveness of suggested model using multi-layer perceptron and learning vector quantization neural networks. The results show that the proposed feature extraction method preserves the information of a license plate well and also is robust and effective for even noisy and external environment.

Extracting Supporting Evidence with High Precision via Bi-LSTM Network (양방향 장단기 메모리 네트워크를 활용한 높은 정밀도의 지지 근거 추출)

  • 논지가 높은 설득력을 갖기 위해서는 충분한 지지 근거가 필요하다. 논지 내의 주장을 논리적으로 지지할 수 있는 근거 자료 추출의 자동화는 자동 토론 시스템, 정책 투표에 대한 의사 결정 보조 등 여러 어플리케이션의 개발 및 상용화를 위해 필수적으로 해결되어야 한다. 하지만 웹문서로부터 지지 근거를 추출하는 시스템을 위해서는 다음과 같은 두 가지 연구가 선행되어야 하고, 이는 높은 성능의 시스템 구현을 어렵게 한다: 1) 논지의 주제와 직접적인 관련성은 낮지만 지지 근거로 사용될 수 있는 정보를 확보하기 위한 넓은 검색 범위, 2) 수집한 정보 내에서 논지의 주장을 명확하게 지지할 수 있는 근거를 식별할 수 있는 인지 능력. 본 연구는 높은 정밀도와 확장 가능성을 가진 지지 근거 추출을 위해 다음과 같은 단계적 지지 근거 추출 시스템을 제안한다: 1) TF-IDF 유사도 기반 관련 문서 선별, 2) 의미적 유사도를 통한 지지 근거 1차 추출, 3) 신경망 분류기를 통한 지지 근거 2차 추출. 제안하는 시스템의 유효성을 검증하기 위해 사설 4008개 내의 주장에 대해 웹 상에 있는 845675개의 뉴스에서 지지 근거를 추출하는 실험을 수행하였다. 주장과 지지 근거를 주석한 정보에 대하여 성능 평가를 진행한 결과 본 연구에서 제안한 단계적 시스템은 1,2차 추출 과정에서 각각 0.41, 0.70의 정밀도를 보였다. 이후 시스템이 추출한 지지 근거를 분석하여, 논지에 대한 적절한 이해를 바탕으로 한 지지 근거 추출이 가능하다는 것을 확인하였다.

  • The problem lies in Sasang-constitution-medicine is a subjectiveness of diagnosis that the result of diagnosis varies according to the doctors. In order to supplement to this demerit, multiple approach has done to diagnose objectively. This study has focused on evaluating the effectiveness and accuracy of the questionnaire which considered as a basic data to indentify constitution. By analysing the tendency of the respondents who has defined constitution by clinical diagnosis and comparing of their answers, the result of their constitution analysis by our questionnaire were re-examed. The answer of each question to each constitution were tested how it is relevent to a scale of a constitution. As a result, we have found that there is limitation to find out constitution by the questionnaire we used, one we hope that suitable questionnaire will be developed for the research in the future.

Social Work Practitioner's Job Performance - a Multi-Level Analysis - (사회복지 종사자의 직무수행에 관한 다수준 연구)

  • In an effort to identify predictors of job performance, research studies in social work administration has been so far on the individual practitioners' levels of knowledge and skills, which could be used in a workplace. As the theoretical concept of organizational environment was fully introduced into social work administration research, however, studies on practitioners' job performance began to have interest in the team or the organizational level variables as well as individual level variables. Along the course of this tendency, this study attempted to test the effect of individual, team, and organizational level variables on the job performance of human service workers. The individual level variables consisted of knowledge, skills, job satisfaction, personality, and counter-productive work behaviors of workers. The team or the organizational level variables included situational constraint, organizational justice, job characteristics, government-dependency, and inter-organizational cooperation. Multi-level complex survey data collected by cluster sampling method from 314 practitioners in 23 organizations were analyzed using Hierarchial Linear Model. Results showed that both task and contextual performance were affected by individual, team, and organizational level variables in various ways.

  • This paper is implementation of cellular automata neural network system using evolving hardware concept. This system is a living creatures'brain based on artificial life techniques. Cellular automata neural network system is based on the development and the evolution, in other words, it is modeled on the ontogeny and phylogney of natural living things. The phylogenetic mechanism are fundamentally non-deterministic, with the mutation and recombination rate providing a major source of diversity. Ontogeny is deterministic and local physics. Cellular automata is developed from initial cells, and evaluated in given environment. And genetic algorithms take a part in adaptation process. In this paper we implement this system using evolving hardware concept. Evolving hardware is reconfigurable hardware whose configuration si under the control of an evolutionary algorithm. We design genetic algorithm process for evolutionary algorithm and cells in cellular automata neural network for the construction of reconfigurable system. The effectiveness of the proposed system if verified by applying it to Exclusive-OR.
